I came here to upgrade my cosmetology license to a salon managers license and even though I have had the run around with PSI as a company the actual training facility was great. It was quick and efficient even when it was busy. The women who were behind the desk and helping me through the process went above and beyond to help me. She even remembered me months later after my whole ordeal. I suggest paying attention when you are in line to make things go as fast as possible to reduce the wait time. 1. Make sure your devices are off but also ready to be proven they are off. 2. Choose clothing that either has limited or no pockets you will have to prove they are empty. 3. Have 2 forms of identification I was able to to use my drivsea license and my birth certificate. I used my marriage licence to be able to use my maiden name to take the test. *I had issues with my name change. I went through customer service and they have yet to change my name to my married name in their system and it's been 4 months. 4. Be able to push your selves up easily. Test wise the computers did exactly what they needed to do. Absolutely the worst system for test taking ever. I have been taking certification for a long time and never had an issue until using there system. It did not work. I tried 3 new computers. they said it was my computer and not theirs system. Never returned the money couldn't even take the test. Worst customer service ever. I couldn't understand a word they spook either and the IT person had no idea what he was doing. I would recommend never use them. read more

The staff at the Woodbury location are friendly and efficient. The test room was comfortable, quiet, well lit and spacious. The west entrance and East entrance are well marked. read more

I unfortunately got my test times scrambled so I showed up an hour late. Thankfully the lady there was very flexible and she still let me take my test. The testing went smoothly, though the building is a little hard to find because google maps took me to a different building. Thank you!! read more

A fine testing facility. Staff was straight forward and professional. Testing area and materials were clean and functional.

Horrible experience. About 20 people showed up for tests today, and no one from the testing center showed up. People studied for these tests throughout the holiday season, and the company completely dropped the ball by failing to show up. One person drove from another state. About three hours after the tests were supposed to have started, we got a robocall saying the tests were cancelled due to "unavoidable circumstances." The center's phone number is actually a fax. The fact that a company still uses a fax as its main number shows you how outdated and unprofessional this company is. About 20 people showed up for their certification or licensing tests today, and no one showed up to administer the tests. Totally unacceptable. People have been studying all through the Christmas holiday for their scheduled tests, and the testing center completely dropped the ball. Plus there's no local number to call for info. Several people have called and left msgs at the 800 number found on their website with no answer. One person who was lucky enough to get through was told someone will call back in 20 minutes and after an hour still no callback. Terrible customer service!!! Experienced with really bad customer service! call three times and all of the representatives are bad. The first person I talked with sound like don't want to work. I told her than I will schedule online on my end so it is easier for her. After hang up I can't book because she already booked for me when I told her I will book online. I have not even give her my card for payment. Now I can't book online, I call them back second time, the second person all she do is yelling at me that my Id is my socual security number. I told her to stop yelling and give me a minute to explained to her why I called. she just hang up on me. call the third time and the third person was just keep telling me it's already booked but on my end I did not receive confirmation for my exam. shortly after argument with the third call while still on the phone, I received a confirmation email about my exam and it say the date and time confirmed and duration is 0minutes. Tell me how is the test scheduled for 0 minutes? third person just keep yelling so I just end it. read more

Horrible experience. The staff was rude and clearly hated there jobs and took it out on paying test takers. I would of paid 4x the amount to never have experienced this testing center. In my opinion, fire the staff and start new. Have staff that are nice to people during an already stressful testing situation. I literally felt like I was in prison. read more

Worst testing experience ever at the Edina location. As a medical professional, I have taken numerous exams with Prometric throughout the years, this was my first experience at PSI. Asked me to come 30 minutes early to appointment, door was locked, and then all of us were ushered into a waiting room all at once. Awkward test center employee read rules aloud to us and then I had to sit and wait for my turn to simply check-in. Made us all sit in a circle with no chairs in between us in the waiting room- I was asked to move chairs so I was sitting next to someone. Computer software was old and slow.
