Home Depot used Imex Stone to install my countertop then completely washed their hands of the sale…read more Imex was a very disappointing company to work with. During the installation they cracked our driveway and dripped epoxy on our brand new flooring. The tracks from the dolly they used line up exactly with the crack on our driveway but they deny any responsibility. Also, there were only 2 installers for an almost full slab countertop. They had to call in another installer and then asked my husband to help! I have this interaction on video from my driveway camera. My husband was injured in the process, getting his finger crushed under the slab as it was being put into place. Luckily it was not broken but there was quite a bit of blood shed. Unfortunately I do not have video of this as it was inside of my home. I find this highly unprofessional to have a customer help install an extremely heavy countertop, not to mention a liability for the company. As for the countertop itself, the full slab island piece has lines in it that will not come out even after cleaning. I was hoping they would fade with time but they are still there. This company does NOT care about their customers or the damage they do. I highly recommend NOT doing business with them. I would give zero stars if possible.
