Local skincare heaven just got bigger in 2020! Prude & Boujee moved to their new location earlier this year and it is the cutest store in Midtown! The Place: Cutest stores in Midtown/Reno! The walls are white with skincare tips on them, there is a flower wall that is 100% Instagram approved. The shelves with sheet masks and skincare products look super organized. Easy for customers to browse and find what the skin products in their list. They have a beautiful gold counter and seating area lots of pinks and lilacs. I am obsessed with the ambiance of this store. It makes me feel happy just to be shopping there. The Products: P&B carries a considerable line of sheet masks. At the end it just depends on your skin needs. Here are some of the brands that I have tried and would recommend: DR. JART - For brightening your skin and preventing wrinkles JAYJUN - Brightening The creme - Hydrating and cute animal faces on the mask LAPCOS - Hydrating (Aloe, red wine) Karuna - Mud Mask Rael - Vitamin C for brightening and hydrating Patchology - Love that brand! They have sheet masks, lip masks, and eye gels This year the store began to other products than sheet masks and I am happy with the quality of some of their cleansers and moisturizers. They also started carrying and accessories such as headbands, scrunchies, and facemasks. I got some headbands and get so many compliments about them all the time. The Service: The service is friendly and knowledgeable--Vania studies and samples the products before they are available in their store. If you have any skin concerns, always reach out to see what they recommend. Last, I just would like to point out that Prude & Boujee are involve with the community and have been supporting front line workers, small businesses and employee students during these crazy times. LOVE this store!!! I learned about this shop from a friend who does my lashes. I checked out their online store first for possible curbside pickup but decided to go in instead so I can check out the store setup. The store is clean and well organized. They have hand sanitizer upon walking in and I was greeted promptly. The owner, Vania, was super nice and assisted me with any questions I had. She also gave me a little tour of where things are and showed couple of items I might be interested in. I was excited to see the vast collection of their sheet masks. Did a little Mother's Day shopping on the Prude & Boujee website and sent a friend a loyal gift pack too. I was amazed at how easy the shopping experience was, the shipping options were quick and affordable, and the curbside pickup for my own order was so simple! I bought a few of the Self Care Give Back Kits, which allow Prude & Boujee to gift some face masks to local healthcare workers on my behalf. I sent two to Florida for my mom and sister in law to enjoy and got one for myself and my wife. All together we were able to send 5 masks to the frontlines, which I hope will be a nice moment of self care for those constantly caring for others. Vania from Prude and Boujee contacted me about an order I had placed online, which was GREAT because when she did I was able to ask her about some products I had been searching for that I was not quite sure about - under eye gel patches. When I had placed my original order I had noticed one but they were out of stock, she recommended a couple different ones that were EXACTLY what I was looking for so we added them to my order. Such a cute store located in the Arlington Gardens Mall. My lunch date dragged me in here after seeing a special edition Rupaul's drag race set. It's a tiny store space just jam packed with quality Korean skincare. They have a great variety of hard to find Korean brands, their pricing is competitive with online pricing and better than Sephora and Ulta. I picked up a very cute Mommy & Me set that my kids are super excited about. I think this is a great place for gifts and to introduce friends to the pampering of Korean skin masks. If you have never tried a sheet mask, they are really helpful in the dry nevada climate to hydrate your skin, lots of companies are jumping on the bandwagon, but I still think the Korean brands are superior. Skincare heaven is what I call this place! I've been wanting to come here ever since some of my Yelp friends recommended it. I have been a major skin care freak and have a collection of face masks in my bathroom. Once I heard there was a face mask boutique in the Arlington mall, I just had to check it out...& boy was I not disappointed whatsoever. I give the owner, Vania, all the kudos for coming up with such a cool store idea. Even the name is so unique, both hes and the store's name of course haha. She's the nicest, I can't wait to meet her the next time I come in. I think face masks have been forgotten by many that this store just had to make sure everyone takes care of their skin. After all, skin care is extremely essential. Once you walk in the Arlington mall, the store is just straight ahead. You can't miss the cute paper flower wall for those photo ops! There is just a chic yet serene setting inside, and they made it work within such a compact space. I was immediately greeted by their staff, Salem, who helped me throughout my visit and made sure I was enjoying myself while picking out the best masks they got. For about $50, I got weeks and weeks worth of face masks and a couple headbands (I usually use them for face masks and makeup application). They make sure they have the really good masks and none of those super cheap quality ones. There are masks for men, Korean, and even Taiwanese masks! Plenty of selection, let me tell ya. Prices vary, but the lowest I saw was $1.80. Crazy! OVERALL: 5/5. Hands down cutest skin care store, with some awesome staff + owner! You need to come in and see for yourself on why I talk so highly of it. I'm gonna have to come back for their jade rollers too. (She sells it cheaper than Sephora soooo) PS: There are sales most of the time, cheap cheap masks you don't want to miss. If you find that Sephora and Ulta over prices face masks, this store is definitely one to check out. If you can't find brands like innisfree online, this store carries them for only $1.85 ea! Also, the owner--Vania, is super nice and knowledgeable about her products! If you have a skin care issue you want to address or just want to maintain that nice glow, she surely has the perfect face mask for you! The store has a wide selection of Korean face masks, Taiwanese face masks, face masks for men, hair masks, cute headbands and more! And since the store is still fairly new, they will also soon be expanding on toners, makeup and other skincare related products--based on popular demand. Such a fun little boutique to pick up some masks for gifts or for yourself. Their customer service is awesome. I went on their website to order a few things to have a spa night at home with my two daughters and was ecstatic to see their vast selection of masks online. During this pandemic shelter in place, their option to either ship the masks to you or do curbside pick-up is so convenient. It's not fun to write the not so fuzzy reviews but it's better to speak up than stay silent. I've been wanting to come here for a long time but since I live on the opposite side of town it was a challenge . A friend and I made dinner plans and I noticed they would be open so I asked her if she wanted to tag along before going to eat. It's in the Arlington gardens mall super cute shop. The sales person greeted us as we came in. After that it was awkward silence so to make conversation I was asking questions about suggestions for first time face sheet users- that's me. We were directed to the left side as they are the more inexpensive. My friend interjected with "doesn't it matter what kind of skin she has." So I told her about my skin type.. we were given some more guidance and then allowed to peruse the store. Not sure if it was because it was the last hour- around 45 minutes to close but I was surprised since it was so quiet that we weren't guided without asking for help. What a find! I was looking for skin care on my handy-dandy Yelp app and saw Prude & Boujee pop up. I had not heard of this store before and had no idea that Arlington Gardens had such a face mask mecca. Trusting the reviews, I decided to visit the shop and see what I could find. This place is so cute! It has a cozy sitting area, a dramatic floral chandelier, and the walls have rows of skin care masks. I even saw lip masks and foot care, though my heart really wanted the face masks so that's what I bought. There was a very helpful and friendly woman helping me and she was wonderful. She talked with me about what I was looking for and pointed out several options. (Spoiler alert - I bought every mask she showed me and spent less than 20 bucks) She also gave me a little history of the shop and told me how the owner has tried every single product she sells so she's very confident in their effectiveness.
