I was on a hunt for hand sanitizer but I wanted to buy local. After my previous place told me curbside is not available I noticed that dragonfly popped up on my feed. I called and asked about purchasing procedures and was informed that the products can be delivered for fee during this time. Earlier in the day I thought why don't I just pick up the order since it's maybe a block from my work office. I'm so glad I did! Such a beautiful shop, I loved the area in that there are scents in abundance. Im glad I made it in that Lauren asked me to smell the sanitizer and see if I wanted to add a scent to it- yes please! After that we went to experiment with any scent I asked for, the winner was peppermint! Mike was friendly and engaged in conversation while Lauren prepped the sanitizers. Sadly for my wallet I stop by this place almost every other week. I love to take baths and this place has such amazing scents and bath products. Best of all their items are made in-house and you are supporting a local business! On Small-Business-Saturday, we stopped by as I love to just smell all their goodies and needed a Secret Santa gift. I ended up buying a milk bath for myself and a shower bomb to give as a gift. Their sale was 20 percent off and they also had mimosas and danishes out for their guests in addition to the Keurig coffee and teas that are always available. The owners are both extremely friendly, chatty and will answer any question you have. They opened anything I wanted to smell that didn't have a sampler available which I appreciated. I just took a bath with their almond milk bath and I love the way my skin smells and feels. I've been going to Dragonfly for products for myself, my family, and gifts for a couple of year now. It's a great local alternative. Plus, if you are conscientious about ingredients the owner makes everything in-house (literally in the shop) and is more than happy to discuss ingredients, the skin care industry, and even some science. The products are reasonably priced for the amount of use that you get out of them. A tub of the body lotion is $15 ish and lasts quite a long time. I've found that I don't need to put on as much lotion with Dragonfly's products as I previously did. I highly recommend getting on their mailing list (they send you one email per month) or social media to stay up-to-date on when Dragonfly will be doing workshops. You get to go to the store after hours and make your own skin care product and enjoy some light bites and wine for only $20 per person!! I've personally done a sugar scrub class with my mother-in-law and a face mask/cleanser class with my mom. They are so fun!! Yesterday I brought my mom down to this shop. It was amazing yet again! The owner is always helpful, and helps give advice about products. My mom got several fantastic products, including the alpha hydroxy moisturizer. She's looking forward to the great results for her and her husband! I bought more of the hand and body mousse in gardenia. This stuff is magical at making hands soft and buttery. I bought the after shower spray in a new scent honeysuckle. It will be in my shower when my current one runs out (very soon). I also got a fun bath bomb for my daughter. The most amazing new product I tried is a sugar scrub cube. Holy moly...this is wonderful. I got the Hawaiian ginger scent. It is intoxicating, my whole bathroom smells wonderful from this cube. My skin is so soft and smooth. This will be a regular product in my shower routine moving forward. I am hoping that they will make more products in the Hawaiian ginger scent. I absolutely love it! I'll be back soon! read more

As we walk into the shop, the aroma of many scents filled the room. Shortly after one of the owners, Mike as he introduced himself, greeted us. My friend was looking for gifts for her good friends she was seeing this weekend so we viewed different products like lip balms and bath scrubs. There were many items on the shelves and it seemed overwhelming especially because we didn't have any direction or clue of what to get in the first place. Mike seemed to pick up on that for he started to engage us in conversation. He was very helpful with explaining what each product was and their functions. What made this a five star experience was that he wasn't afraid to get both of us involved with his demonstration. First he brought my friend over to the sink area where there were four opened shallow jars before them. He gave her a generous sample of the yellow powder mixture in her palms and instructs her to scrub her hands together. After a brief moment he signals her to rinse her hands to her surprise were very smooth. I wasn't expecting anything after that but Mike was like, "Alright, your turn." He gave me a choice between the yellow mixture and a darker mixture from by the smell of it was coffee; I chose the coffee. He explained that there were natural sugars mixed with coffee grinds. The scrub shaved off the dead skin leaving your skin feeling creamy and moist. Mike told us he always included the guys with his demonstrations and 8 out of 10 they'll end up purchasing something; myself included! When we asked where they made these products, Mike said everything is made in their office to which he gave us a small tour of. He also introduced us to his wife. They both stated how they try to be as local as possible. Everything from their containers to where they get their paper; they try to buy them from local companies. All of the printing they do themselves and showed us a print they used for a private wedding. I have so much more interest and respect knowing about their story and how local they try to be. Not to mention the whole experience was fun and enjoyab Who knew such a small shop in midtown had so much backstory! I've been coming to Dragonfly since I found them at the Candy Dance in Genoa about three years ago. I had just moved to the area and the dry air made my lip split so deep it gave me headaches from the throbbing. Their lip balm that comes in the little tube with a wand applicator was the ONLY THING that helped. After applying it several times a day for a few days it finally started to heal and was gone in about a week. Their products area AAAAHHHMAAAAZING. Everything is made with ingredients you can pronounce, and they feel so good on your skin! Went in with hubby recently and they blended oils for him to add to his own concoctions at home (beard oils and such). One of my favorites is their after-shower spray. It's a light lotion in a spray bottle that you mist on after you bathe. Regular lotions feel to heavy for me most of the time making me feel greasy or sticky. This is just the right amount of moisturizing that leaves my skin STUPID SOFT, but doesn't make me feel like I'd stick to a sheet of glass. I do like their heavier duty lotions for when my hands are so dry they're CRACKING. They even have the ability to custom scent all their lotions and scrubs. It's great if you want to get creative, or if you just don't want your scents to be too powerful. Or on the flip-side, you want them so powerful, people in Vegas can smell you coming! I'm definitely obsessed with their stuff. I just have to keep telling myself that there are worse vices to have than soft skin. ;D read more

Ahhhh what a store. Located in Midtown this small shop carries locally made essential oils and beauty products. When you walk in there isn't that overwhelming heavy perfume smell, but instead this aahhh calming wave. The staff was ready to help and answer any questions about all the products without hovering. They also carry products for men. After roaming the store, reading about all the items, and sampling a couple. I purchased a small vial of cherry almond essential oil for the office defuser. It was a light refreshing scent. I also bought a mocha espresso face scrub. How could one not enjoy waking up to chocolate and coffee being rubbed on one's face ? I tried it right away - and yes it was more than fabulous and I loved the way my skin felt. Great addition to the Midtown area and I will be returning for more products. This is a cool place. It's not as expensive as you might assume so don't be afraid to explore. If the owner is in there he is happy to explain ingredients if you have any sensitivities or even mix custom scents! He made an almond scrub for me within minutes and it smells so good you could eat it... and based on the ingredients I think you actually could since it's all natural. I also bought an orange lip scrub that is meant to taste good and a peppermint lip balm. I'm extremely happy with all of my purchases but will go back to try some new scent combos. They do bathbomb classes and can do Birthday parties with adults and kids. Everything aside from some of the jewelry and fountains in the shop is made in Nevada so it's a nice gift to bring someone from out of town. This is a beautiful store located in the Midtown area. It is filled with 101 ways to pamper yourself silly. I called on a Holiday to make certain that they were open. I had desperately needed Eucalyptus Oil. The woman who answered stated they were open but were closing soon, I asked if she could stay open for 30 more minutes and she said yes. After rushing to the shop, I was very happy to see that they had stayed open. The help staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They gave me some other ideas besides Eucalyptus Oil to use and even invited me to sit and enjoy some of the food they had laid out for customers (even though I clearly was their last customer and they stayed open a little longer for me). It just indicated to me how truly hospital they are; that instead of wanting to leave and enjoy the rest of the day off immediately, they showed me the same hospitality that they showed every other customer that day. It was an appreciated gesture. As stated above, their shop is truly lovely. They have so many lush products to purchase in order and pamper yourself and your loved ones. I can't wait to come back and purchase an 'indulgence item' for myself. I think I'll start out with their Mocha Scrub! Moreover, their prices seem reasonable. Ok I've been avoiding this place like the plague. In 2015, I decided to use all my product and only purchase what I need as I need it. I've been doing pretty good until I walked into Dragonfly Bath & Body. I went in for the Make Your Own Face Masks & Scrub class. Cost $20. We made two products - mask & scrub. Plus they included some take home clay to create a mask with ingredients we have in our kitchens. It was a great crowd and good fun! Snacks and beverages provided! I arrived early, the goal was to pick up a few items for a birthday gift. I didn't do too bad. Got the gift. Then for me... I got a linen spray -- Eucalyptus to help me with all the high desert sinus issues I have. Plus they have this amazing make your own scent bar. My signature scent is Green Tea. The two companies that make the perfume I use have discontinue it. Lauren, the owner and her husband walked me through the process of creating my scent. It is the only place I buy my bath bombs because they use all natural oils that sent my body and feels so smooth plus they leave my bathroom smelling wonderful for at least 4 days. Oh man! I was pleasantly suprised! What a wonderful smelling shop. The owners were very helpful! I am always skeptical of moisturizers because we are in such a dry climate but I decided to give their honeysuckle lotion a try and it was fantastic! It goes on very thick but it did not leave any greasy feeling at all. My body felt moisturized all day. I feel that with most scented moisturizers the scent goes away after a few minutes but this one stayed for hours. It was not overpowering just a nice honeysuckle scent that lingers for hours. I also bought a soap that was scented with bamboo. It is so fresh and it smells up the shower with such a lovely scent. I can't wait to go back and try other things that they offer! read more

I absolutely love this store! I came across them about six years ago when working at a restaurant in the same shopping center. I had a bit of a cold that day (yes shame on me for working with a cold but bills man), and one of the owners happened to be standing outside and offered me their congestion pillow spray which worked like an absolute dream. Later I came in with a minor skin issue on my face, it was a scaly dryness I couldn't seem to get rid of, I was pointed to a combination of products that solved a problem I'd been trying to fix for months. At this point I think I've gotten at least one scent of every product they offer and they're just fantastic, they're high quality products with ingredient lists you can trust. I've gone to several of their workshops which are all incredibly reasonably priced for the experience as well as the amount of product you leave with. Not to mention the customer service is incredible, I picked up a product a couple of weeks ago and when I got home I noticed the bottle had leaked into the packaging and was slowly leaking onto my counter. I took a couple of pictures and sent them through Facebook messenger letting them know the issue I had and that they may want to check the other bottles. The product was usable albeit messy so I had planned to keep using it but I got a message back the next day asking me to come in to exchange it. I've referred all my friends there and it's a must stop whenever I'm giving gifts, nothing but love for this company and the owners. read more

The bath bomb I tried was lovely, but the true love of my life was the herbal detox bath salts. The bubble bar smelled heavenly, but was lacking in the bubble department - not many bubbles and definitely not long lasting. It was very moisturizing and soothing, though. I came in here last Friday night for a bathbomb making class with my daughter. The class was super fun! We got to make 4 large bombs of our choosing design wise, scent wise, and color wise. I would definitely recommend their classes and would do it again. What really impressed me though was the great customer service you get from the owners. From the minute we walked through the door until we left the store we felt like royalty, being shown around the store while the owners took turns explaining what the different products were and how best to use them. So, I'm currently stuck in my bathtub and waiting for one of my sisters to come rescue me. I met up with the booth at the Celtic Festival. I love bath products. I love smelling good and staying soft, but it's more than that as well. I have got redheaded, super sensitive skin. My skin and my hair are pretty much my only vanities. I've got a regimented regimen that includes bubble baths, exfoliating scrubs, face washes and more moisturizers than I can write here. But I also just had surgery and my normal brand of bubble bath and scrub is too slippery for my broken body to get back out of the tub. There was an associate there with dark brown hair. She assured me that the bubble bar in Blimey Limey wouldn't be too slippery, but it would provide thick, luxurious mounds of merengue like foam. I broke off a corner of the bar into my running bathwater, about an eighth of the bar. Ha. Ha. Hahaha. It smells like a household cleaner and it's more like a bath soak than anything. It's not making my skin feel soft, and I think the last time I fell this much was when I went ice skating as a kid. If anything the moisturizer in the bar has curdled and beaded up the moisture still on my skin. So much regret. So much. This is one of those moments where you're at a crossroads. Trying one product.... should not be this problematic. This was exactly what I asked the lady manning the booth about. Ugh.... If I'm going to be stuck in the tub I could have at least enjoyed the bath before getting stuck, but it wasn't bubbly and it wasn't a nice smell. read more

Wondered in this shop while waiting for a table at two chicks and I was pleasantly surprised. One of the owners helped us and I loved how friendly and helpful she was. She's very knowledgeable in her products and took the time to explain a bit of the scientific side of things which was really cool. Also, I love the fact that she doesn't just cater to one thing like bath bombs or lotions. She has a variety of stuff including beard oil, lotion, etc for guys and a sugar shower scrub for people who don't really take baths/use bath bombs and want something special for the shower so I thought that was really unique. I came here with a large group of friends for my bachelorette and I'm so glad we did!! The owners were amazing and walked us through everything, including making our own essential oils to helping us try the various lotions and scrubs. Everything here smells SO GOOD!!! And it's fabulous that they make everything themselves! I bought soy wax beads in passionfruit-rose and it smells amazing! It's been 5 days since we were here and I'm so reluctant to burn the wick with the beads because then it won't last as long hahaha. I also got a Sunshine shower bomb and it is the most underrated thing EVER. They had told me that the entire bathroom would smell like the shower bomb and it does! I have it in the driest part of my shower to make it last longer and I can smell the shower bomb all the way to my front door if I have all the doors open. AMAZING. And the owners were lovely enough to give me a little soap scrub as a congratulatory gift for my bachelorette on the way out! This is a great place to come on your own or with a large group.
