About year 3 in her employment, an Edward Jones Advisor showed up in the lunchroom, talking about investing. She said Yes, added small monthly amounts to very conservative investments and was comfortable with her returns. As I diminished, I saw how she did under Edward Jones trusteeship. I moved my IRA/Roth/401k t9 Jones. In a week, a sister, brother and niece are visiting Edwsrd Jones with decent amounts of inherited investments. Entering the Edward Jones system, one follows an "investment risk" questionnaire. If you choose to play, an Advisor plugs you into the Jones System in your risk category bucket. And away you go. I watched my sister's investments 16 years. Jones has a set of standard funds. different risk and returns. You ride along, the funds do investing and rebalancing in the background. A lot like other investment advisors. This level of Edward Jones seems to be a training/proving ground, a place to add to an Advisor's resume. Spencer got married, settling in Coastal Orange County, CA. I really enjoyed Roderick's style. He was a former Florida State Assistant football coach.
