    Eggplant parm
    Elizabeth Y.

Came here as a walk-in with my husband the other night. We were seated quickly and our server arrived shortly after. She was very kind and attentive throughout our entire meal. They offer complimentary bread and salad which were both amazing! Was super impressed by the quality and how many different veggies were in the salad. For my entree I got the egg plant parm which came with your choice of pasta. My husband got the baked ziti. The food was very tasty! I do think the sauce on the pasta needed some more flavor but for the price it's an amazing amount of food. We left stuffed and can't wait to go back, specifically for the amazing service and yummy garlic bread!

My husband and I came here last night, first time. We were already in the plaza. We were greeted immediately and did not have to wait for a table. We ordered so so much and everything was amazing! The house salad and rolls were my favorite! I can't remember our server's name but she was really sweet and polite. The entire staff seemed friendly. I can still taste how good the food was lol. We'll definitely be back!

Our food! I had the Vegetable Eggplant Parmigiana and hubby had the Sausage and Chicken Penne Pasta-spicy. Came plates very nice and hot.

*ASK FOR LOUISE* So this was our first time here. We had to wait, but not long. We were walked back to a nice little cozy booth with sim lighting and old 20's music The food was amazing! I didn't have to add anything to anything! You can see my noodles are separate as well. Wonderfully done! For our first experience here, I had give a review. I would definitely recommend!

If I'm being honest, I came to Provino's specifically to order their eggplant parmigiana hoping it would put me into labor like the myth claims. I didn't have time to dine in, so I ordered it to go which they made very quickly, and when I was paying for my meal, they packaged a salad and some garlic rolls for me as well. I was confused and told them I only ordered the eggplant parm. They informed me that ALL to go orders still come with complimentary salad and rolls which I was surprised by and grateful for. I mean who wouldn't be happy about some free extra food? Anyways, I got home and opened my eggplant parmigiana, and I saw in the container that there was also a bit of spaghetti noddles with meat sauce packed in there as well off to the side. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the food I received which I had initially thought was a bit pricey to be paying $20 for just a dish of pasta to go. But, I got a whole meal out of it and had enough to share with my husband too. It was definitely worth the drive and the $20. The salad portion was huge, especially for being free. The garlic rolls came with 6 of them, and they were AMAZING. I honestly would come back here just for those alone. And lastly, the eggplant parm- the portion was much bigger than I expected it would be, more layers than I expected, somehow still stayed warm for my drive home until I ate it, and they were very generous on the sauce. Plus like I mentioned, the side of spaghetti included as well. In addition to being plentiful, it was all very delicious, and I very much enjoyed my meal, especially for it being a to go order.

Celebrated my bestie's 75th birthday there and we weren't the only ones ! We were in a section that had at least 8 booths and every booth had a birthday! You no longer get a free entrée but you do get a birthday reduction of $14.50. Our server was wonderful. She had a great attitude and knew the menu. She checked on us just the right amount and she did not forget that my BFF did not want garlic on his rolls when she brought the 2nd round. We both are big fans of the salad (me bc I get all the beets) and of course the rolls. I stuck with my usual Cannelloni en Bianco it's delicious and reheats very well. My BFF tried something new the Chicken Ripieno and he was very happy with his choice! It was huge! First time he's ever taken home leftovers! Of course, he got the birthday ice cream but it came with 2 spoons yum! Highly recommend even if it's not your birthday!

Visit: 9/21/2024 time: 856p Customer Service: 5 stars: the manager on duty I interacted with was an African american male, gave me spectacular Customer service. The waitress assigned to us phenomenal and very attentive. Food: 5 stars: I was a big fan of scallinis on cobb Pkwy in Smyrna but they closed down. Provinos pretty much as the same menu. It was totally worth the drive in my opinion. The chicken and sausage penne has been one of my favorites for the last 20 years and I must say nothing has changed but the portion size, the flavor is still there. I'm a huge fan of the salad and garlic rolls. I'm a tad biased because I've been going to scalinis and provinos (Kennesaw location) for 20 plus years. Same great Taste and value which is why I've been a Customer all these years. Price point: 5 stars: I think everything is priced fairly. I've been coming here for years and they have diligently tried to keep prices affordable. Portion size 4: I understand why the portion sizes are a tad smaller look at the Twit in office -_- but I appreciate a family of 4 can eat here, LEAVE FULL, and feel like they got their monies worth despite the tiny difference in portion size. Cleanliness: 5 stars: I came right as their rush was ending and the place was tidy. Overall: my experience was great. I enjoyed eating here and appreciated the warm and welcoming professional staff. My son has autism and they made sure he was having a great dinning experience and I really appreciated that. Great Good Guys, KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK! I drove 1 hr and 20 minutes just to dine here, worth the drive!

    These garlic rolls are good.

Provinos in Snellville has a very neighborhood restaurant atmosphere. While the food may not be 100% authentic the restaurant definitely strives to be authentic to themselves. The customer service was top notch, our server was very friendly and attentive. I also observed other servers being the same. I ordered the lasagna. Overall, it was good, but not amazing. The meat sauce (I believe their signature sauce) tasted bold and 100% catered to please the masses. Smothered in cheese and too much sauce this baked lasagna tasted a bit too sweet. Overall, I would visit again over a similar competitor Olive Garden since it's so close to where I live and wish I could give 3.5-3.75 rating.

There is a reason why certain restaurants stand the test of time. This Italian spot is one of them. If you read no other reviews, read this one. Why? Because this used to be my go-to spot back in High School during the 90s to fuel up prior to one of our cross country races. Back then, you came to get wasted on garlic bread, salad and pasta. Our tastebuds were still in the adolescent stage so we had no idea what was good Italian and what wasn't. Fast forward to my mom's birthday here this past week and my first time eating here again since in my 20s. A 20+ year gap of not eating here. And wow, the nostalgia that hit walking in. The garlic bread rolls, dripping and swimming in a bowl of garlic butter, were just outstanding! The salad they provide for the table was phenomenal! And my meal, the sausage and chicken over penne pasta, was the absolute best chicken and sausage I've had. I had NO clue this place was that damn good. Our server was awesome (his picture included) and they did a great job taking care of my mom for her birthday! The house wine isn't so great (we had some at the mini bar upfront while waiting for our table) but the bottle of merlot we had for the table was perfect. My only teeny complaint is that they should put a few seats at that bar for possible diners. I highly recommend. They are still knocking it out of the park after all these years

    Ask the Community - Provino's

Say I'm on a low-carb diet. Can I have the option to order any dish and just swap the pasta for some vegetables?

I just ate at Provino's and asked for my chicken dinner to not have the side of pasta. The waitress didn't miss a beat and asked if I wanted steamed broccoli or mixed vegetables instead. I had the broccoli.

Truly a piece of culinary excellence…read more For the most part, our table stuck with appetizers, and somehow that alone delivered a full dining experience. Every single dish came out intentional, balanced, and full of flavor -- the kind of food that makes you slow down and appreciate each bite. Some highlights from our visit: Bread Basket -- warm focaccia with EVOO, balsamic, house dipping oil, and whipped ricotta (absolutely dangerous) Crab Stuffed Mushrooms -- rich, delicate, finished with a lemon butter drizzle Braciola -- parmesan breadcrumb filling, red sauce, served with focaccia Beet Carpaccio -- roasted beets, goat cheese, candied walnuts, arugula -- the perfect mix of sweet, earthy, and fresh Fried Tortellini -- cheese-filled with an nduja parmesan sauce that had serious depth Italian Spring Rolls -- pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella, peppers & onions -- unexpectedly incredible Even though we focused on starters, nothing felt small or secondary. Each plate stood on its own and showcased the kitchen's attention to detail and flavor. The drinks were immaculate -- balanced, smooth, and thoughtfully crafted. Yes, the plates looked like they came from Dollar Tree (no judgment, lol), but when the food is this good, that becomes part of the charm instead of a flaw. I'm already looking forward to going back. Fresca Trattoria is one of those places that reminds you why dining out can still be special.

I've driven by this place countless times and when my husband came here for a work event and raved…read moreabout it, I knew it was time to try it. We were here on a Monday night (President's day holiday) and it was crowded. I'm glad I made a reservation through OpenTable. Once seated at a table in the middle of the dining area, I noticed it was a little stuffy. The table can seat four but I think it would be very packed with all the plates. I noticed the plate I had when I sat was dirty so I just switched it with another vacant plate. The server took away occupied silverware and plates. It felt more spacious. Focaccia bread was brought out with sun dried tomatoes dip and it was delicious!! Not tarty at all and I wish there was more of that dip because it was so good. My husband warned me that their portions were dainty so we ordered calamari appetizer (I highly recommend) and caprese salad (also good and fresh). My husband got tomato basil Alfredo fettuccini with chicken and I had Alfredo fettuccini with salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection. I found it odd that the server asked how I liked it cooked and I elected for well done. It was so tender and buttery just melts in your mouth. The fettuccini was okay. The texture of the noodles were dumpling like maybe it's homemade but still good. I did order broccolini as a side but someone dropped the ball and that's why I had to dock a star. Overall, I think it's a romantic place to bring a date but the servers aren't too warm but still professional. My husband said there's a business event section upstairs and offers privacy. I think his only complaint was that the logistics of the "buffet" appetizers was awkward so a lot of the food went to waste. I think he mentioned more serving ware like plates and serving spoons would have been helpful. I also think the to go bag is very nice. It's like a reusable grocery bag and fairly large. It's a nice touch. I saw a lady bring her dog. I don't remember seeing an outside patio and I have a dog myself and am a dog lover. I'm not sure what that was about (is there a separate area?).

Not the best. The tomato basil fettuccine Alfredo - it was recommended as being "amazing" and the "most popular" dish.... It left a lot to be desired. The noodles were extremely over done with some noodles actually burnt. A lot of noodles were actually stuck together. The noodles were worse than if a college kid boiled store bought noodles and then forgot about them on the stove. The Alfredo sauce wasn't necessarily bad but it needed to be creamier and needed more flavor. I will say there was a lot of blackened chicken on the pasta, but again, needed more flavor. The pepperoni flatbread was ok. Extremely thin. The server told us it had the pepperoni that curls into little cups. That was false. It was regular pepperoni - which is fine!! But the flatbread overall just wasn't great. I know this is an Italian place in a shopping center in Gwinnett, but I was still disappointed.
