I have multiple symptoms of perimenopause and they said I wasn't old enough. An OBGYN at a different Providence acknowledged I had perimenopause. I only was referred to them because of difficulties with my IUD. That OBGYN was furious it had been overlooked. When my back went out and I was having issues walking and had to have family bathe me, take me to the bathroom, and anything else...providence Monroe said they couldn't do anything until several months have passed with no change. All they did was throw prescription pain killers at me, even though they were not working. They also marked my file with "Prescription seeker" when I was clear I wanted a solution not pain killers that mask the issue. Again another clinic had to do a second opinion and have found nerve blockage and several issues with my back. Monroe Providence has no interest in treating patients. All they want to do is cover up the symptoms with medication, NOT to find or work to solve the issue. When my Physical Therapist asked for some testing because everything we tried made everything worse, my doctor said he didn't have the right to ask for more tests to be done and he isn't a doctor. Said she would send me to a physical therapist who would do the therapy regardless. She was not in any way concerned there might be something more going on. Why would a DOCTOR want a physical therapist to do things that are making a condition, that prevents me from doing anything, worse? It is absolutely unacceptable to treat people this way. They cater to the insurance companies and do not have any intention of helping patients, they just throw meds at it and say they can't do anything else. Deplorable practices. read more

The husband and I were looking for a new family practice office and decided to give this Providence a try. We were able to make an appointment online through their easy to use scheduling software. The hospital is a new building with modern design and very clean. The layout was easy to follow and I found the family practice department easily. I didn't have to sit in the waiting room very long before a medical assistant came to get me and reviewed me concerns and medical history. The physician came in shortly after and reviewed everything and completed the brief exam. He was very nice and had a good bedside manner. He didn't have all the answers I needed so he gave me a couple of referrals to specialists in the area. While the visit didn't take care of my issues, I was happy they were able to get me to the right people that could. Overall it was a nice hospital with good friendly professionals caring for their patients. read more

I will never go back there. Routine mammogram - DO NOT GO THERE I go there I get charged because they pick the wrong doctor. Routine I have never paid for one they coded it wrong and I had to pay $350 2nd time - went to walk in - head injury walk in doctor sent me to the hospital. He did nothing I got charged out of network $451 Will never ever go there again. Appeal process is a joke. Like another review they will not tell you their doctors are out of your network. Your are better off just going to a hosipital. read more

Be careful with this company. We asked them if they take our insurance which they said they do. However, they did not tell us our provider was out of network. Ended up paying $131 for two well child checks. Called and let them know them know what happened and said there was nothing they could do. Bottom line make sure you check for provider and don't expect this company to help or work with you! read more

I know that it absolutely depends on who you get when it comes to walk in clinics and the nurses/doctors. However, I had the most amazing experience with the staff this morning at the walk in clinic. They were so kind and caring, they got my results as quick as they could, and were just downright funny nice people. In a crazy time like this it is so rewarding to be around good people. read more

This is an amazing facility. It's sort of a cross between a family clinic and a hospital. They can do a lot here that most family doctors can't, and they are tied in with the hospital so when you do need something done that they can't do, all your records are already available. It also seems you get expedited into things because of this. I've had to rush to get to the Colby Campus to make an appointment for a test that they arranged while I was in the clinic in Monroe. If I weren't already in the Providence system I probably would have had to wait at least days if not weeks to get that test. I love the way they have things set up. You walk in and check in at admissions, just like a hospital. There may be a short wait here. I think I've waited less than 10 minutes at the most. After that, there is very little waiting. Even the one time I went to the walk in clinic, the wait was probably less than 5 minutes. And they were so nice! I don't generally like going to walk in clinics because it feels impersonal, but these folks treated me as well as my regular doctor does, and they were able to talk to my doctor to consult with her about my case. I was being difficult to diagnose. ;) For a regular visit, once you check in at admissions, they give you a little badge thing that tracks your position and send you to your location. You put yourself in the room they assign you to. I've almost always had the nurse come in within a few minutes, and the doctor just a few after that. There is no waiting around for hours here. Everything is streamlined and efficient. They have the MyChart online system where you can email your doctor, get test results, access billing, request refills, etc. That's great for when you want to ask a simple question and not bother anybody. All in all, as far as doctors go, this is as pleasant as it gets! read more

Dr treated my daughter terribly and refused what she was scheduled for. The Everett clinic is gaining a new patient today. Thanks to dr. Bass at monroe providence for not being a kind dr. read more

On my first visit I am quite impressed and pleased. The layout is very functional and aesthetic, the staff that I met were cordial and warm, and the building new and beautiful. I'm not hoping to be here often (!) but when I have to it'll no doubt be a nicer experience than the doctor's offices I've been going to in the past. read more

I am only giving this place one star because i am forced to in order to leave a review. To put it simply this place SUCKS! Go here if you want to DIE! My dad was very very sick, so as you do, my mom and I took him to the doctor. We took him to the Providence in Monroe and were welcomed poorly. The doctors were unprofessional and seemed uneducated. How any of them got jobs there amazes me. Well not really when the whole place was in shambles the entire time!! We basically paid bill after bill after bill just for them to tell us they had no idea what was wrong with him. I'll tell you this my dad does not get bed ridden easily AT ALL, he loves to work and be outside so for him to sleep all day was weird. We paid for all the tests to be run and they literally just told us they had no idea and couldn't help. And that was that. Do not go here. Do not take your children or elder or inbetween here. They will give you a thousand bills and not help one bit. I am so angry at the service I received. I will N O T EVER be going back. read more

Went to a walk in clinic ask a doctor for a malaria tabs. for my trip to Indonesia.... a medical assistant didn't know what malaria is :) On the top of that the assistant was chewing loudly a gum while typing something in the computer. Not professional at all. Felt weird sitting there and watching all that. read more

Dr. Ellen Kim has been my doctor for a while now and I've always been seen for the same problem. I've been dealing with some issues lately and she's been accusing me of lying and denying me care and told me to find a different doctor. I was so distraught and overwhelmed by her attitude and she did not care. I've never been treated this way by a physician! The fact that I would always have anxiety before seeing her is beyond me. I cannot believe I stayed with her for that long! Completely unprofessional! read more

Only chose 1 star because 0 was not an option. I have had one bad experience after another from the several doctors at this building. Alyssa Stickney was my primary for the last few years even though every time I was seen I was usually just passed around the care team without the ability to develop any kind of a relationship with my primary care physician since you never know what you're going to get with this place. Today was the last draw for me I was seen by doctor Wick who lacked compassion empathy or any kind of sympathy was she was so incredibly rude and dismissive of the way that I was feeling I left in tears and I will never return to this Clinic. Never in my life have I felt so uncared for she didn't listen to me made me feel like I was crazy and all around just incredibly rude I don't even know why she's practicing medicine somewhere along the way she's obviously lost the reason that made her want to become a doctor. The lack of humanity shared by her was so incredibly disheartening. Also to make matters worse the room that I was taken to had dirt all over the floor needles from pine trees dirty medical equipment left on the corner in the floor from the things they check your ears with. There were half-eaten crackers on the side of the bed and it was incredibly dirty in there the doctor did not wash her hands when entering or exiting any of the time she came in the room. Stay far far away from Monroe Providence. read more

As a new patient here I must say I have yet to meet anyone that was unpleasant. The layout of this facility is AWESOME! Easy check in and straight to a room! Eliminating the "waiting room" makes the Dr experience so much better. I am so glad I chose Providence. Dr Whitman and Allergist Dr Johnson were great! read more

Urgent Care is usually good and the staff are nice and understanding. The Lab staff are also very nice and fast. Pharmacy is terrible for the sole reason they would not full one of my meds because they didn't like my diagnosis for taking the med. It isn't a pharm tech's business what my diagnosis is. My PCP Dr Ellen Kim is very friendly and nice. She is pretty easy to get in to see and her or her staff answer emails quickly. I've been seeing her for 4 year at least 4 times a year. Each visit is shorter, she doesn't listen well or refer a problem out when she can't handle it. She asks me the same exact questions each visit, she has no idea who I am or what is going on with me. Finally finding a new PCP. read more

Please do yourself and favor and read the hidden review. Also notice that the positive reviews are over a year old. I too, have had one bad experience after another. Dr. Bass made me feel how NO doctor should ever make anyone feel. I have never been so miss treated by a medical professional. There is absolutely no follow up of any sort. I went in with a LIST of problems, they took some tests which all looked "OK"....I still had problems, did they offer more testing? Did they offer ANY type of support or advice? NO. I Was sent to just deal with my issues with no remedy. I got to pay those bills though! A different occasion I had to go in for testing. The results should have taken 24 hours. I did not get those rather URGENT results for two full weeks. It was a fiasco! Did they offer any help or advice? NO. I then had to pay Labcorp over $100 for results that took two weeks longer then they should have. I went into speak to the manager Rosa to make a formal complaint against DR. Bass AND to ask they they please pay my lab bills since the results took so long due to the error of the staff at the providence office. FOR ONCE I felt a little compassion. I felt like she heard me and cared about what I had been going through with how DR Bass made me feel, and having to wait two weeks with symptoms that could not be treated since results were not in. She said she would get back to me within 2 weeks. One month later I tried to follow up with her. I had heard nothing. All of a sudden it's like she has no idea what happened, what she was helping me with, and basically told me to f.ck off. I got the run around from her and her superior to once again make me feel like these medical professionals DO NOT CARE! This is only listing a couple incidents. I am not including my horrible experience from this past weekend. read more
