We decided on this venue back in early March, and I communicated with Cindy regularly all the way up to my wedding day. She always responded promptly and answered any questions I had (and there was a lot). She let me go look at the space as many times as I wanted to plan things out and take pictures, and during those months they were working to add things to make weddings there even more magical. Our wedding was the first they had there in many years, from what I understand, but you'd never know that based on how smoothly everything went and how easy communication was with them. Usually bring the grandbabies here, they recently remodeled the playground. There's a large grassy area surrounding the side of it and parking usually the parents use for drops or pick ups. The community here is friendly and everyone looks out for each other and the kids. It's not far from the "M" trail and surrounding by lots of trails and open wide canyons where everyone can walk or ride and let's not forget the donkeys! Yes they love it here and there's a bunch of them that usually roam through. Just look out for them and their pies left behind on sidewalks/grass etc.

Lesson horses are cared for in same manner as private horses- and most are show quality for any circuit. Prices are very,very reasonable considering the quality of facility, horses and instructors. I am from up north where training like this is immensely expensive, and out of reach for most families. There is great trail access from the property, and the ranch quiet and serene, with a nice breeze not found in flatter parts of area during hot summer months. I highly recommend Showcase to anyone who is in need of boarding/training/lessons. They offer a great deal- $45 for one hour evaluation lesson on a school horse. Trust me, you will not find a better deal.

It's a cute little place for kids with a lazy river, three slides, a toddler area, and a wave area. I was excited to find somewhere that was a little more convenient and purchased 3 season passes. Unfortunately, we were only able to use the passes twice. When I originally asked the girls working at the front desk about the schedule, I was told that the park would be open Monday through Friday through the end of August. Based on that information, I felt comfortable purchasing the season passes because I knew my other kids would be coming back from vacation and we would have plenty of opportunities to use them. That ended up not being the case. The park was closed multiple times for private events, and then the schedule changed. I eventually called to check whether they were open and got a voicemail saying that they would now only be open on weekends until Labor Day. I emailed the park because I was disappointed and explained the situation. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like they were very helpful. I was basically told that the calendar had been posted since the beginning of summer and that it was my responsibility to check it. The problem is, I didn't even know there was a calendar to check. I was given information directly by the employees at the front desk that the park would be open Monday through Friday through the end of August. If someone had told me, "Our schedule can change, so please check our online calendar before purchasing," I absolutely would have done that. In fact, if I had known the actual schedule, I probably wouldn't have purchased the season passes in the first place. Because of the closures, private events, and schedule changes, I was only able to use my pass twice and couldn't use it when my other kids returned from vacation, which was the whole reason I purchased the passes. I think it's a cute little water park and could be a fun option for younger kids, especially if you're looking for something smaller than the big water parks. But unfortunately, the way this was handled left a really bad taste in my mouth. I completely understand that schedules can change and private events happen. What I don't think is fair is telling customers one thing when they're purchasing passes and then essentially telling them afterward that they should have known to check a calendar they weren't aware existed. I'm sure three season passes aren't going to make or break the business, but as a customer, I definitely feel like I got screwed over for simply trusting the information I was given by the employees.

The teeny tiny parking lot holds maybe 16 cars, but there's plenty of parking right outside in the residential area. We went today, which is a Friday and although the street signs said No Parking on Fridays due to street sweeping, at least a dozen cars were parked so I took a chance and parked on the street too, hoping the patrol and street sweep already happened. I carried our camping chairs and stuff and posted up inside the splash pad where there was shade under a big palm tree. They had 4 concrete benches and ledges but most were not shaded. A bunch of families had their blankets and chairs set up outside the splash pad fence under all the trees. The restrooms were just past the front of the entrance to the splash pad. The play ground was right next door with some shade and a good size jungle gym and 4 swings, 2 of which are those giant chair swings. And because it is summer, the school district had 3 pops that were serving free lunch to all the kids. Fridays was cheeseburgers, which was perfect! They packed up around 12:30pm, so come before noon! We had a blast and will definitely come back this summer!

While I had never experienced anything quite like what happened during my last visit, I have had smaller, somewhat similar situations happen here before. I brushed them off at the time, but after this most recent experience, I definitely look at this park differently. One thing I have noticed almost every time I've visited is the amount of children who seem to be completely unsupervised, running around and doing whatever they want without a parent nearby. I'm definitely a helicopter parent when we're at parks because anything can happen in a matter of seconds, and let's be honest, the world we live in nowadays doesn't always feel safe. I understand kids are there to play and have fun, but parents still need to be present and aware of what their children are doing. During my last visit, there was also a group of people smoking weed at the park, and the smell was EXTREMELY obvious. Listen, there's nothing wrong with what adults choose to do on their own time, but please keep it away from children and family areas. A children's park and splash pad is not the place for kids to be surrounded by the smell of marijuana. It's unfortunate because I genuinely enjoyed bringing my kids here, especially for the splash pad. But after my last experience, I highly doubt I'll be returning. Sometimes one situation is enough to completely change how comfortable you feel in a place, and unfortunately, that's what happened for me with Celebration Park.

Bryant is very kind and I know that he is very experienced when it comes to horses. You can tell that they take good care of the horses and truly care about their students. So we know a good trainer when we see one - and Lucia is EXTRAORDINARY! She's knowledgeable, insightful, and incredibly positive. If you just want to learn enough about riding to be able to go out on the trail, she has some great lesson horses - and her facility, Creekside Equestrian, is right next to a huge tract of Conservancy land that's beautiful for trail riding. But if you want to become a serious dressage competitor, she can help both you and your horse learn and progress to reach your goals. Bottom line - Lucia is amazing, and we can't say enough about her and her facility. If we could give her 10 stars, we would!!!
