Was in town for the afternoon decided to try this place. I ordered tacos al pastor. I should have ordered them without onions. Rancho beans have chunk of tomatoes and onions and stalk of cilantro not enough beans. I did not enjoy the beans. I believe I should have ordered salad. I saw the neighbor salad plates looked appealing. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. He was kind to suggest the tacos. Frankly I suggest that you try something else besides the tacos. I also ordered the brownie and ice cream. It was drenched with hot fugue chocolate which made the brownie soggy. I placed the ice cream next to the brownie. That doesn't mean that it wasn't delicious. Just the texture wasn't the way it should when you bit into a brownie. This place has a colorful decor and kept clean. Everyone's taste buds are different. Had the standard beef enchiladas, rice and beans but their menu is very diversified with lots of great entrée choices. When I walked in there were two very long tables full of people. A bit loud but very festive and enjoyable. Staff is super helpful with very friendly service. Tried Provecho y Salud in Harlingen last month and it didn't disappoint! The service was great. They made the guacamole in front of you! I thought that was so cool. I got chipotle chicken & I liked the flavor. It was not too spicy but gave it a good kick of taste. My mom got the quesadillas and it was a big serving! The cheese was super creamy & the fajitas were very well cooked. Overall 10/10 experience and I'll definitely be back! They have an outdoor area which I'm sure is super pretty at night. read more

Came here for the first time today for brunch a couple of weekends ago.Our waitress told us they have been open for about a month. This is exactly the spot Harlingen needs! The inside was clean, modern and well-decorated. The staff was friendly and kind.The food came out promptly and was well seasoned. I got the asada y huevos, and although the steak was a little tough for my taste, it was still pleasently enjoyable. The star of the shows was the churros! It was hot, fresh and not too sweet. UPDATE: We came here for sunday brunch, and on the sign it said it will be open at 10:00am. HOWEVER when we arrived at 10:30 the doors were clearly locked and lights turned off. read more

The service was a little slow though, took forever for the food to come out but I guess it was freshly made so that's understandable. I've had quail at other restaurants where it just slides right off. Good service from the waitress though.The dessert cake was rich and creamy (what do you expect from the Cheesecake Factory). The staff attentive and friendly. The environment is clean, open, and warm. But the food is the star of the show, the salad was extremely fresh and the salmon was great. My sister and I always start with the Table Side Guac (can't skip it--it's made right at your table and always fresh), and we're hooked on the Veracruz Enchiladas. And the margaritas? You honestly can't go wrong with any of them. Weekend brunch here is definitely the best in town if you're looking for something a little more upscale. We were just driving thru looking for something different and we found it!! Stopped in during brunch time and had the chilaquiles. Sooo good! Husband and I went for lunch and the place is beautiful. The only thing that wasn't too great was the food. I ordered the tacos Al carbon and the fajita tasted really gamey. I tried to hide the flavor with the queso dip it came with. I almost broke a tooth with the rice. Every bite I would take, the rice was uncooked. My husband said the same about his mahi-mahi tacos. He said they were good, just preferred without the jicama. But his white rice was hard as well. A bit on the pricier end for Mexican food. This is our 4th visit and a nice addition To Harlingen. Favorites: enchiladas Veracruz, Cabo flip, fajitas. Pros: Location, parking, ambiance, cleanliness, price Cons: seems to be a lot of turnover in staff, always new staff ... 2x the bartender gave regular beer to someone at my table who ordered NA beer. Once we were ignored standing at the front while staff congregated around the bar, restaurant was mostly empty . This time we decided to try the crab cakes as an appetizer. The queso and crab cakes came out about 25 minutes later.. the crab cakes were burnt on the bottom and with no sauce . Our server said " oh yeah we are out of sauce" we sent the dry crab patty back lol. The rest of dinner was fine but the server was inattentive even though we were her only table. Halfway through the rest of the meal the server came out and said "we were able to make the sauce if you want the crab " . We passed . Overall: beautiful restaurant with good food, service needs some work. Bartender likes to hit the vape out the side door I don't think he knows everyone can see him through the shade read more
