He was here for about 15-20 minutes and told me I needed to upgraded my equipment and charged me $200. He said there was something unplugged, which there wasn't. After he left the Internet was still not working properly. I found Simply Wired on Yelp, and boy am I happy camper. He came out for a free consultation, sent me a quote within a few days and a list of equipment I needed to purchase (my old equipment was a few years old and I just wanted to start new anyways). After receiving all the items, Brian came out and set it all up. My 'wire closet' or whatever it's called was so messy and full of old wiring and equipment that we couldn't even close the door. Not only can we close it now, but it looks amazing. He also used some of my old equipment to help boost the signal in certain areas. Customer service is a boxing match every time we would call. We put up with it for as long as we could because changing providers is a lot of hassle on its own. We really tried to be cordial but after needlessly having to endure such vitriol and back handed comments, and associates in tears after trouble calls, we decided enough and called to cancel our service. During the sunset period of our business relationship the conversations got meaner and accusatory. Making us send equipment across the state rather than having there tech come out and pick it up, charging us full monthly fees after we had parted ways for months because one piece of hardware out of the fifty instruments on our site had not been returned yet for continuity reasons. This is not a company I would EVER recommend to anyone. Stay away, plenty of other companies with better business models. Only gave them one star because they did provide us with phone service, but the juice is not worth the squeeze as they say.
