I am completely in love with this place; I ordered salmon egg wrap and coconut water
Amra C.

I am in love with this place; it's cheap and delicious, it's across the gym, glutenfree, you order on a tablet (you receive your food quite fast) and the staff is friendly and outgoing.. I love their egg wraps, so it's worth a visit

Paul M.

Always a great place to go not just for pre and post workout meals, but in terms of all around good eating, great service and very reasonable prices considering how good the food is.

Salmon paleo bread and chicken chick pea salad, all gluten free.

Visited this bakery so many times during my few weeks in Denmark. The prices were very good, and…read moreall their foods were vegan, and some even gluten free. I originally went for the frøsnapper, a danish poppy seed pastry, but every time I went they were out, so I finally opted for a cinnamon roll. The vegan foods in Hawaii are nothing special, so I was a little hesitant on buying something vegan, but at 15kr a piece, I figured why not. I am so glad I got it, because it's the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. The pastry was very chewy but flaky on the outside, and there was just the right amount of cinnamon. It was also very buttery (but of course it wasn't actual butter). The prices are much cheaper than the other bakeries that I went to, and I like these cinnamon rolls a lot more than the overly hyped Sankt Peders Bageri ones.

There is a small section of gluten free and vegan groceries in the bakery as well so if you want vegan butter with your gluten free bread, this place is a fantastic one stop for it all! The owner is friendly, not too talkative but at least he still has that Danish smile :)

Best meal of our trip. Really enjoyed it. My wife booked Host because of its reviews and vegetarian…read moreoptions (for me). The restaurant's design is definitely minimalist with simple blank walls and a comfortable mix of fake and real plants. There was no air conditioning but they found a fan to keep us comfortable- we were amazed that more folks in the full restaurant weren't sweating the way we were. Perhaps the locals are more used to the summer heat with no AC than we were. We had the 3-course prefixe meal with my my wife and daughter on the standard menu while I was on the vegetarian track. The website says that Host is the Danish word for harvest, and that their focus is "on the Scandinavian kitchen with lots of surprises." The staff used the word "surprises" explicitly, using it to describe the amuse-bouches and palette-cleansing bites served between the advertised courses. We started with a flight of croquettes with cheese and I think my wife and daughter had something like a smoked fish hash of some sort while by I had a delightful bite of salad on a molded sweet cookie tart shell. The baby bread loaves with a special butter were lovely - how do you innovate butter? Great job. My first veggie entree was fried carrots with horseradish, which was grand. Next I had a barley risotto with amazing brown beech mushrooms on top. Awesome. There was a spot of potato soup in there somewhere and the best bite of the meal was another of the surprises - a pre-dessert mochi-like shell with strawberry powder on the outside and hazelnut ice cream (I think???) on the inside. The strawberry rhubarb dessert was excellent also. Such a great meal. Loved it.

The service was incredible. The food delicious. They were so loud that management asked them to quiet down (which was greatly appreciated by us and others). It's an at least a 2-hr dining experience for a 5-course dining experience. The portions are just the right size and even shareable. The hubs did the 5-course with wine pairings, dessert and coffee and I the 3-course. I was able to share some of his items and wines as well. They are Michelin recommended and still awaiting a star. Here's to hoping they get it soon. All the servers step up for one another as well and take their time explaining what the item is, all the ingredients and how it's prepared. Check this off your dining list while in Copenhagen!

But the food was really great!! You get a little checklist and a pencil and you check off five or eight items and I checked off I believe it was scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage as well as this rhubarb raspberry berry concoction dessert at the end which is tremendously good. The coffee was sublime. Think I also had an espresso-tini, which drive the entire cost up to $50. There was also delicious bread. The whole place had that communal type of vibe that I so enjoy about Danish cafés. I asked one of the staff super- models about the little Danish flags that some of the tables had and her explanation was kind of convoluted, but I believe I understood it. Whenever there's a celebration of any kind - anything from a birthday, to someone starting a new job, to someone having a child, etc., Danes love to have a flag involved! Go here!

Most dishes were good, especially the chicken nugget. I would also recommend the broccolini which was a refreshing veggie to have. Everything was unfortunately a bit too salty. There was a chia tiramisu that I thought was the best part of the meal.

And I have eaten here 5-6 times the past two years, being every time disappointed. Lesson learned, never going back. The reasons: * The interior smells bad. When they fry the food they do not have a good ventilation meaning the hot fumes from food stay in. * The food is waaaaay too salty (and I love salt) regardless which sauce you choose. Also they leave so much liquid to the noodles when boxing them that when you have eaten half of the box, the food is swimming in an oil/sauce liquid. * The options are few. Being spoiled from the noodle shop next to my house from all the fresh veggies and toppings that I find this place not even competing. Plus the veggies are bad cut having some huge chunks in the food. * The price is definitely too high for the quality and the time you wait for preparation. So as said. Lesson learned and not going back. I still wonder how so many people eat there.

I took rice noodles, beef, broccoli, peppers, mushrooms and gluten free soy sauce. I loved it, it was really good !! My boyfriend took prawns, broccoli, mushrooms and soy with soy sauce as well, and he really liked it as well. We would definitely go back there if we go back to Copenhagen !
