I love going there, the staff is lovely, fun & very helpful. I'm always recommending this store & the people that have gone just rave about it! Take the time to experience this very special place on 9th Street in the East Village. I would also like to add, that I have always felt safe during Covid whenever I've been there. They have hand sanitizer available, as you walk in & everyone has to wear a mask or they cannot shop there. I appreciate their diligence in keeping us safe & taking seriously what needed to be done in order to get the numbers down so we could start living our lives again! Thank you to Amanda & the staff at Spark Pretty, for taking such great care!

Recently I found that they carry portable chargers in pink and white that is 9000 MAH for $15.99. It came with the lightning and USB-C cables so I thought it was pretty worth it. It has a very slim profile and has Miniso branded on it so I got it. Other than this store has a lot of variety of stationary stuff that you can decorate your bedrooms and dorms. Lots of Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, Melody, Kuromi, and Pochacco. The products here are kind of pricey though like the Top Toy Sanrio plushie keychain blind box is $29.99. One of the favorite things I like about Miniso is their collection of perfumes. I love the pink travel spray perfume and I always restock on those. Smells sweet on the subtle side and it's very great in any weather and any day. It's a must buy.

Giant drag-queen necklace sets, well-maintained, stunning to behold! While not inexpensive, they are very well-priced for what they are, and with bulk purchases come the potential for a break on the overall price. Since the pandemic, I've been unable to get back to NYC to visit this enticing store, so instead I periodically contact the owner, Ron and ask him if there is anything new that I would like. He knows my style, sends me pictures, and I've purchased 4 necklace sets from him in this way. Shipping is VERY reasonable, items are packed well, and I get the joy of continuing to shop at his store safely from the comfort of my own home! You can bet that the next time I'm in NYC, I'll DEFINITELY be stopping back in again!

Don't waste your time on this place. I could not decide whether the clothes were just really old…read morestore overstock items or actual used thrift items. Everything was 50% off (though I get the feeling that it's 50% all the time, so why not just lower the prices?). Clothes were priced at $8-$15 (so really half of that $4-$7ish). Clothes were from like the 90s styles (which is too recent for retro and too old for cool). I didn't check out the upstairs mens, but I have a feeling it would have been more of the same. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the jewelry was reasonably priced ($1 bracelets) and somewhat interesting though I didn't buy anything. Lastly, the staff was unprofessional and their conversations with each other in front of customers was appalling. Let's just say save the locker room talk for the back room. Overall, the place is classless and drab. There's probably a gem if you dig through every single item, but not worth the time IMO.
