Now during COVID, when TreeFrogs are swamped with business and couldn't get us on the schedule for two months they are so busy, for our new move they decide to ask for my original purchase receipt because they couldn't place the it. Now on top of charging me $600 to move it, they charge me $600 in replacement parts. Saying the wood is rotten and they refuse to honor the warranty. Ignoring that they have records of the previous move and the badge on the side of the treehouse with the address of the purchase location on it (pictured below). Also, this move is for a disabled veteran. Very bad form, gouging clients and not honoring their warranty while the community is suffering. Their business is booming and we're trying to not lose our home.

Abby was not there at the time she told me she would be. Instead, the manager "helped" my parents, and he was incredibly rude to my family and made inappropriate comments about my 12 year-old daughter. He looked her up and down and said she should be doing other things instead of playing on swing sets. I had intended to spend thousands of dollars at Tree Frogs and had given my parents the money to finalize the purchase today. The manager's lewd and inappropriate behavior has cost Tree Frogs our business. ****UPDATE***The manager called me almost immediately, made excuses for his behavior, tried to blame his employees and claimed that he didn't say anything inappropriate. He was angry and rude and wanted to argue with me while supposedly apologizing.

The entire experience became an absolute nightmare. Without exaggeration, we dealt with: * 8 (YES, EIGHT!) no-shows -- meaning we planned entire days around their scheduled visits, only to receive no call, no text, no update, and no respect for our time. We always had to be the ones to reach out just to find out they were not coming. * 1 scheduled visit where they actually notified us they would not make it and needed to reschedule. Sad to say, that felt like a win considering the circumstances. * Countless unanswered calls and texts, along with at least 10 promises that were never fulfilled. * An improperly installed electrical component that could have become extremely dangerous. We ultimately had to recommend and involve our own licensed electrician to ensure the work was completed safely and correctly. * 4 missing pieces/items which were ultimately installed after a very long and painful process. * A complete disregard for the customer's time, money, and overall experience. Unfortunately, once payment was received, customer service and accountability seemed to disappear entirely. I will say the office staff were always kind and pleasant to deal with, but they also seemed powerless when it came to actually resolving the issues. I genuinely hope Johnny's can improve their communication, reliability, and customer service because those things matter just as much as the product itself.

The owner insisted that this job was "more difficult than they thought so she insisted we pay an additional 60% (yes, you read that correctly). The rope bridge is not safe to use, the cedar shingles on the contract became fence boards that leak water all over the inside, there are over 100 nails facing inside the structure so it's absolutely unsafe until I can have someone come complete it/repair everything. Simply horrendous experience and the end product is unsafe and therefore unusable. Now we have attorneys involved trying to sort this mess out. If you want to have someone come ruin your backyard, argue with you and insult you, leave you with an unusable product and end up in court, Treehouse Magic is your place!
