We initially provided all the paperwork and affidavits etc.. to receive the funds. Now multiple phone calls later, multiple emails later a trip to the local branch, showing them their own communications and STILL can't get the funds (less than a thousand dollars). After asking to see a manager at the Coppell location come to find out no managers in the bank and no one other than bank tellers? I don't bank with Bank of Texas and would never bank at Bank of Texas and would never encourage anyone to bank at Bank of Texas. I once again provided them today the same paperwork that has been provided to them times before. It's not about the money it's about the indignity that you feel trying to close out your deceased mother's bank account.

I have had an account with them for years and years. I have never met or heard from my main banker, but yet their are two folks at the different branches that shine above the rest! The card never worked. I ended up closing the account due to the bank and staffs inability to get the account working properly. So two years later I go to open another account and Comerica has reported me to some banking bureau for $100. So now I can't open the account and now have to go back to the worst bank in America (Comerica) to get this straightened out. My advice is to keep your money as far away from this bank as possible.

Website is hugely functional and I can do practically anything I need to do there easily without having to hunt. There are some improvements that could be made. (I updated these from a list of 5 to 2 from my initial review. So many improvements have been made!) 1. I would love a location in Denton or Corinth. I'm so happy they opened a Lewisville branch! 2.
