Staff is really friendly, the hygienist was sweet and super-chatty, and didn't shame me too bad for not flossing but still firmly advised me I need to change my non-flossing ways. Dr Levine was very thorough after the cleaning, telling me about some things that need to be watched, but didn't try to suggest any procedures, answering all my questions and providing me with a referral for orthodontic services when I requested it.

I didn't want to argue with her and make a bad impression for my first visit, so I just redid them all - just for her to look at my account after I handed her the papers and say, "Oh! Somebody wrote a note here saying you already did it!" I got pulled to the back by an assistant (?), she never introduced herself or what role she did. She did a fantastic job with the x-rays and cleaning though! A lady named Kim walked in next, no clue what her role was either. She spoke to me about cleaning and flossing as if I were a 5 year old child. I'm a petite woman who is on the younger side, but cmon. As someone who's worked in healthcare for over 5 years, this was the worst bedside manner I've ever seen and experienced in my life. Dr. Nguyen was the next person in the room and spoke about 5 words to me then left. I am interested in doing Invisalign but they do consultations only on Wednesdays and Fridays with the last appointment being at 4pm. Nothing on Saturdays. My name was called and I followed Karen, the dental hygienist to the exam room. Karen took x-rays of my teeth and she professionally cleaned my teeth. She removed all of the plaque, tartar, and stains from my teeth and she also polished my teeth. When I looked in the mirror, I started smiling because my teeth were so bright and white! I was very happy with the excellent job Karen, the dental hygienist did cleaning my teeth. After Karen cleaned my teeth, Dr. Mai Koussa came into the exam room. She introduced herself and asked me about my general health and if I was experiencing any problems with my teeth. I told her I was experiencing some pain with my front tooth after my last visit with my previous dentist. She examined my teeth thoroughly to see if I had any cavities or minor fractures. Then she checked my gums, my mouth, and the condition of my existing fillings as well and she told me that my front tooth filling had fallen out. Before she began working on my front tooth filling, I told her I was afraid it would be painful for me to get the filling replaced. Dr. Koussa smiled and in a calm, caring, voice she promised me I wouldn't feel any pain and her words were very comforting and reassuring to me. I was very impressed with Dr. Koussa because I didn't feel any pain at all! She delivered exactly what she promised and I was surprised how quickly she replaced my front tooth filling.
