    Ford F-150 King Ranch
    Paul S.

I recently purchased a 2025 Ford F-150 King Ranch Hybrid from Prosper Ford. Kyle and the sales team delivered a stress free, professional level of service that exceeded my experience at other area car dealerships. Kyle took the time to go over all the key features of this truck. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured, and this made all the difference. Curtis, the finance manager, kept everything transparent. There were no surprise fees, just an honest vehicle financing process. If you are in the market for a Ford truck, I highly recommend giving Prosper Ford a visit. My new F-150 is everything I hoped it would be - and the experience of getting it was just as satisfying.

NEVER TAKE ANYTHING THEY SAY AS THE TRUTH ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY EVEN IF THAT SCREWS THEIR CUSTOMERS OVER! I took my 2014 Ford Focus to Prosper Ford as my check engine light came on as well as it was intermittently not wanting to start or shift into a gear. The code came back with P0805 clutch position circuit. They took a few days to look at it and came back saying I needed a new clutch & forks and that it would be $4500. I was shocked as I just purchased this car and didn't want to put that kind of money into this car. I asked them how they concluded that I need a new clutch & forks. They said they did multiple tests and that they took off the actuators and swapped the top one with the bottom one. And blah blah blah. I declined the repairs. I took it home and started doing research. From the research I found out that it might just be the clutch actuators. I also found a video on how to check the forks to see if they are moving freely. I got under the hood and started working. I took off the top and bottom actuators and I could tell these parts have never been taking off. I then check the forks to make sure they are moving freely and no problems. They move freely and perfectly. I then put the new actuators on top and bottom and hook everything back up. Turn the car on it starts right up no problems and then I put in drive no problem, reverse no problem and then I continue to drive around the block, seconds into my drive the check engine light turns off and all codes go away. I continue to drive get on the tollway get to higher speeds and go plenty of miles. Still nothing it is driving perfect if not better than before the check engine light came on. I was so happy! So long story short is you can't trust anything anyone says even the Ford Dealership. They said they ran multiple tests and swapped actuators and checked the forks and blah blah blah. LIES! LIES! LIES! All they did was check the code look in their book and say this is what needed done they did no test to see what the actual cause of the problem was. By the way they were trying to charge me $200 plus saying this was their diagnostic fee. I got them to waive this fee. So, they charge $200 plus to just check the code and read a book and put some generic mumbo jumbo crap down. They almost got me on the hook for $4500 to fix something that wasn't even wrong with the car. Good thing I did some research. To wrap this up, I leave you with this. BEWARE! Trust nothing anyone tells you even the head service guy at a Ford Dealership and do your own research. I will never go back to Prosper Ford or yet alone any dealership (unless I have a car that is under warranty). I recommend if you do make sure you do some research and maybe get a second opinion or investigate it yourself. NEVER TAKE ANYTHING THEY SAY AS THE TRUTH ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY EVEN IF THAT SCREWS THEIR CUSTOMERS OVER!

If I had to give one word of my experience I would use deceptive. I changed my plans to drive from Bentonville, AR to Prosper Ford, instead of driving to Tulsa, Ok. I did this to save 2k and get a one year newer vehicle but I regret it. Deception 1. I was told I could write a personal check. I asked to fill out a credit application without a pull of credit, to verify my identity. That was a lie. I was then told hard credit would be pulled and I would need to do a loan to leave with car but if I was to pay the car off before the first billing I wouldn't be charged any interest. Another lie. The bank won't process the loan for 7 business day, therefore I will be charged at least 7 days of interest. Hopefully a small amount but I was told multiple times that I wasn't going to have to pay anything in interest. Deception 2. I received a list of things the service department supposedly did, including checking the coolant levels. I questioned this because the coolant level was very low. I thought either they were lying to me about the coolant check and/or they are incompetent as a service department, or there is a problem with the coolant system. I had an agreement they would fix or buy the car if there was a coolant issue discovered within a week of purchase. There doesn't seem to be an issue but I had to take time out of my schedule to take it to my local Toyota dealership to verify. It seems to me they lied to me and/or have a incompetent service department. Deception 3. It was a very short test drive. I should of pushed back when they told me the drive was going to be short. Felt like 5 mins. I wasn't allowed to take it onto an interstate, and I was only able to accelerate to 60mph for a few seconds on a service road before having to apply the breaks. After the purchase, I discovered a very loud wind noise from the passenger side when driven on interstate over 65 mph. I didn't and wouldn't have discovered that very noticeable issue during the test drive. This makes me wonder if the minor door damage in the car fax report was a bigger issue then reported. Deception 4. The listing on facebook and on website had pictures of aftermarket bumper guards front and back. Sales manager told me they threw them away because they were falling off. They still took professional pictures of the vehicle with them. I was never told before driving 5 hours that they were not on the car nor was offered anything to compensate. They were at least a $1000 of accessories. Photos are below. Deception 5. After writing this review, I just found out that the driver power seat stopped working within 2 days of buying the car. My wife is unable to drive the car, because we can not move the seat for her. Supposedly it will cost 2k for Toyota to fix. There goes my savings for driving from Arkansas. They must have know about the seat starting to fail after 30 days of test drives. It was obvious to me when I adjusted it for the first time after the purchase. The motor sounded like a machine gone trying to move. I am starting to feel like I bought a lemon. I have lowered my rating from 2 to 1 star. More things to note: The listing on facebook was 1k more then the website. After adding in all the dealer fees and taxes we were 4k from listing price. After a little negotiation and considering taxes/registration, we were a bit closer to the facebook listed price but not website price. My batteries failed (they were low before purchase) in both of my key fabs on our 5 hr drive home. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to start the car. I blame the sales manager for most of this and the dealership. Our salesman was young and not very experienced. I don't believe he was intending to mislead us. The pictures of the accessories was an intentional misleading by either the sales manager and/or the dealership. So was the test drive and probably the seat. The payment situation was bad communication from the manager to the finance department. I would not recommend and will not return. This is unfortunate for them, because I need a 2nd vehicle.

READ BEFORE YOU GO!: I called ahead of time because I had a solid number from another dealership but they were in Fort Worth. Prosper is a lot closer to me but I was coming from denton and as you know going from denton to Prosper especially on 380 is no fun at all, so I called twice to verify that they would be able to work around the price range that I was offered by another dealership ($17,625 for a red 2022 premium mach e) On their mustang Mach e (prospers silver California 1 edition). I drove all the way from denton to Prosper after being told by two salesmen that they can definitely get close to that number and make a deal with me and to just come on in. I told them explicitly and respectfully that THIS IS THE NUMBER I NEED OR I'LL GO TO Fort W. And they said no problem we can take care of you. After driving for about 40 minutes Dealing with traffic, they looked at my trade-in While I looked at their car and noticed that it needed brake pads & rotors really badly. The rotors were engraved horribly by the metal to metal contact from the worn out brake pads with a bunch of scratches down to the primer That weren't even addressed. Their vehicle reconditioning was horrible. I brought this up to the salesman (Santiago) And he tried to brush it off by saying the car went through a multi point inspection. I've worked on cars for YEARS and told him how the brakes need immediate attention. He said he'll see what he can do After I made him look at it closely. We went inside and after waiting, he brought the paperwork for me to sign. It was FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS OVER where i told them i needed to be at! 2k+ in bs dealer add-ons. And they only offer 4k for my trade in where ford dallas offered 5.5k and fort w offered 5k. I took one look at the paperwork and told him to "give me my keys, this is why I asked you if you can get close to what I needed before driving all the way over here with my wife and kid. I'm going to To Fort Worth." he then tried to pull the "let me talk to my manager and see if we can come down on the price" bull and i said "No, we're leaving, give me my keys." They will undervalue your trade-in and overpriced their cars. They'll sell you cars that are a danger to you because they only care about your money. We ended up going to Fort worth And getting a newer car For a better price. (the red one is mine, the silver is the p of s they tried to scam me into). In my honest opinion don't waste your time with them, they will lie to get you in the office.

Preferring to buy locally, I visited Toyota of Plano to see if you could match the offer. Instead of a professional discussion, I was met with shocking hostility from one of your managers (a tall gentleman of Middle Eastern descent). He directly attacked my integrity, stating, "I've seen this trick many times; people bring fake quotes from Richardson or Prosper to deceive us." He further alleged, without any evidence, that the other dealer would add a markup of over $6,000. While I respect a dealership's right to decline a price match, I find it unacceptable to be accused of dishonesty. This lack of professional ethics is not only a personal insult but a significant blow to the Toyota brand image. As a direct result of this experience, I returned to Longo Toyota of Prosper the following day and purchased the vehicle there. The contrast in service was stark; they treated me with respect, and my wife is thrilled with our new car. I will be sharing this experience with my community to ensure other buyers know to take their business to dealerships that actually value their customers.

If you are unfortunate enough to own this car and experience this issue you know that there is no easy fix. When I arrived I pulled up, handed the tech the keys, and walked inside to check in. Lawrence was so nice and helpful, let me know a time frame, and explained where the restrooms and snacks were located. He also let me know there was a recall that they would also take care of while they had my car back there. After about 3 hours Lawrence called me up and informed me that they were not able to get the sunroof closed and the cost of getting it fixed is almost $11,000. Having just moved 1000 miles from home, looking for a job, and have now loss my reliable transportation I broke down right at his desk. Lawrence proceeded to go talk to other managers to see how he could help me. He mentioned that they could take the headliner down and MAYBE be able to get it closed that way. I had to take the risk. About 4 hours later he comes out to the lobby with a technician named Tristan. Poor Tristan had been fighting with my sunroof all day, but was determined to help me and continued to try everything he could possibly think of. Eventually all his hard work payed off and he was able to get closed and even washed my car for me. These two men may have just been doing their job to other people, but they really did change my life. They offered support, determination, and the willingness to go above and beyond for a customer. Having just moved to Texas this was my first experience with this location and I now will continue to have my car serviced here. P.S. Let this be a reminder to NOT get a Toyota Camry with a panoramic moonroof!!

1 Star I have had…read moreone of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Kia dealership. My entire experience has been filled with poor communication, delays, and repeated inconveniences caused by the dealership. I initially brought my vehicle in for service and had an appointment. I was told they could not properly look at it unless I left it there for an entire week. I was unable to do that, so I asked when I could return. I was told I would not need another appointment and could bring it back whenever I was ready. A few days later, my vehicle stopped working and had to be towed to the dealership on a Sunday night. I called early Monday morning to explain why it was there and tried multiple times to reach someone in the service department. Despite several calls and messages requesting a callback, I could not get in contact with anyone. Because I had no transportation, I had to Uber to the dealership. Once there, the staff, including Mario in the service department, acted as though they had no idea why my vehicle was there. My voicemails and callback requests had apparently not been addressed. When I explained the issues with my vehicle, Mario was dismissive and nonchalant. I was told my vehicle would be looked at by Thursday. Thursday came and went, then Tuesday, and then Thursday of the following week. My vehicle sat at the front of the dealership for approximately 10 days without being touched or moved. After I filed a complaint with Kia Corporate, it took approximately 30 minutes for my vehicle to finally be moved and addressed--after I had been asking for someone to look at it for 10 days. When I went to pick up my vehicle, Alicia provided a discount on the service charge, which I appreciated. However, I was then informed that the dealership had LOST MY KEY. Because of their negligence, they had to create and program a new key. I was told this would take about an hour total. I specifically asked if that estimate was accurate because I had somewhere to be, and I was told yes. It did not take an hour. It took approximately THREE HOURS. I eventually requested help getting home and was provided an Uber. I arrived around 11 AM and did not receive a message that my vehicle was ready until 3 PM. What should have been a simple pickup became another hours-long ordeal. I was told someone would follow up to ensure I was satisfied and that I would receive complimentary services because of the inconvenience. Neither happened. To make matters worse, I STILL have to bring my vehicle back because the dealership did not properly complete the work or double-check everything before returning it to me. My vehicle's beep no longer works when I lock it, and I am also missing a panel that exposes wires and plug-in areas. A corporate complaint was filed, and I contacted Kia Corporate again after discovering these additional issues. I explained that I no longer trusted this dealership to work on my vehicle and asked if I could take it to a different Kia dealership. I was told I could, but I may have to pay another diagnostic fee--even though I am having to return to a dealership because of issues that occurred while my vehicle was in Kia's care. I also have concerns about Kia's AI systems. I was required to complete an extensive questionnaire about my vehicle and its issues, only to be told at the dealership that the staff either do not or rarely review that information. If the information is not being used, what is the point of requiring customers to complete it? I experienced the same frustration with Kia Corporate's AI system. I was asked to enter my case number, only for the representative to ask me for the same case number again. What was the point of asking for it in the first place? Overall, I am extremely disappointed. I have lost trust in this dealership and in Kia as a brand. I will not be purchasing another Kia, and I would have a very difficult time recommending Kia to my friends or family after this experience. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a dealership for basic service, file corporate complaints to get their vehicle addressed, deal with a lost key, wait hours longer than promised, and then discover additional issues after getting their vehicle back. This entire experience has been unacceptable. Kia needs to seriously address the communication and service failures that led to this situation.

I had been going between this dealership and a closer dealership regarding the same vehicle. There were very specific requirements I needed to have met but ultimately chose this one year older Honda from Codie based solely off my interaction with him. From the beginning, he made me feel like my business with him was valuable and as a woman, I feel that is a great thing since most of the time I enter places like this, I'm treated as if I am uneducated. Secondly, he remained transparent with every step of the way, including pricing, negotiation and finally to signing the papers. I had expressed to him how far I would be traveling and he stayed in contact with me throughout my entire dealing with him. He was never pushy, disrespectful, difficult to work with to get where I needed to be and just truly made the experience so easy. I highly recommend this location for assistance with vehicle purchasing. We got there at 8:45pm, everyone there was exhausted and staying past their shifts to help customers get things done and into their vehicles. Kareem in finance made signing everything and putting my deposit down so easy. He knew how far we travelled and we had a toddler who was overtired and even though Kareem was also tired, his attitude and conversation were so enjoyable. I did get the warranty and will be taking the vehicle to be checked thoroughly but I am not anticipating any major costs. This is a 2017 so I am aware there may be need for some mechanical fixes. Overall, I am glad I made the trip to do business here.

Do not go here for service and especially avoid John Moen…read more TL/DR: avoid Frisco and make the extra drive to Denton. Moen is a crook. Incredibly unwilling to negotiate, particularly on a good chunk of work. You are just a number and even a nuisance for him. I am ready to buy a Grand Wagoneer L fully loaded so a $100+k car and I will not buy from this location specifically because of how we were treated at service, specifically by Moen. I brought the vehicle (2014 Grand Cherokee) in to have an oil leak fixed last July (2025). Was told work was covered under warranty (for 2 years) and spent over $5,000. Got home and the vehicle was still leaking. Was finally able to get the vehicle back in (July 2026). Was told there would be another $280 diagnostic charge if the leak was unrelated to the work (thats "fine") however my issue comes from the fact that we got the car back and it was still leaking (July 2025). This "new" issue was never addressed during the first time or after picking it up. This wasn't a small leak either apparently "severe". Obviously brought the vehicle back to address the leak that for all intents and purposes was never fixed or at least from my view point. Again, as mentioned above needed another diagnostic. As part of that "diagnostic" was told this was a separate leak (again why wasn't this caught last time???) but also told I needed an oil change. I said, let's go ahead and do the oil change because I was getting charged for the diagnostic anyway and was lead to believe the oil change would be included as part of the diagnostic. When I went to pick up the vehicle, was told that is not the case and would have to pay for BOTH the oil change and the diagnostic because I declined the work on the larger ticket item. So at the end of the day I paid over $550 for an oil change which is already over priced at $300 (diesel vehicle). I will never do business at Frisco Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram again. If you need work done it is worth your time to drive over to Denton. If you need a car, go see my guy Mark Engman there in Denton. Tell him I sent you and he will take very good care of you.

I am giving two stars for the gentleman who actually helped me with the purchase of the car, but it…read morehas been all down hill from there. That is me being generous. Financing straight lied to our face and that was my fault for trusting them. After I left thrilled with my new vehicle I noticed the tint was messed up. I called and they said to bring it in so I did. They re-tented it and it looked like trash so I brought it back and they did it again. This time it had bubbles in it and the tent was scratched and came back with a dent and missing paint in the door jam. He said he wanted me to leave it for a week for the windows to cure and they would fix the door jam. So I did and one week turned into over two weeks. Mind you no rental car was offered and I was still very nice about everything. Got it back today and the tint has dirt in it. And the fix on the door jam looks like my 9 year old did it. I called and Chris informed me they didn't have proof that the door jam was their fault so they fixed it to the best of their ability. I would have rather him said we will fix it but it will look like shit. I just bought this vehicle brand new of the showroom floor with 5 miles on form your dealership, I could have drove 30 min down the road and bought it cheaper but I trusted them. Because I purchased my last vehicle from them with no issues. But never ever again. I gave chance, after chance after chance and listened to the excuses about how bad their tent guy was awful or called in or sick and it was a third party but they where going to get someone new. I drove to the dealership 5 times left my car for 21 days to be told that's the best we can do. Not even the valet would get his windows tented their he told me. If that's the best y'all then I would steer clear. Wish I could find the pictures of the tent. Also when fixing it you can clearly see it is now dented in more on the door line.

They had a listing for a 2018 Mazda CX5. We called and they said we should come take a look - it…read morewould be a 45 min drive to get there. We reached out when we were on our way (same day) and our salesperson (Charlie) said to ask for Antonio, as he has to step out. When we arrived, we sat down with Antonio, who immediately started asked what other cars we might be interested in. After we told him we were just interested in the Mazda, he said he would go bring it around. After some time, a manager (Zack) came by and said he was here to help if needed and that they would be pulling the car up for us to look at. 10-15 minutes later, Antonio pulls up with a Mitsubishi (which he had already touted and I had already said I was uninterested). He proceeded to talk it up and after a quick look, we said no thanks - we'd like to see the Mazda. So he went back inside and after 10+ more minutes and what appeared to be a staff meeting was happening behind glass, Antonio came back out and said "Good News Bad News - the Mazda just sold, to one of our employees. But we found a Toyota Venza at a sister dealership (hours away) they could have here for us to see tomorrow." After telling him we weren't interested and frustrated we came a long way for this, Zach returned to apologize and asked what else we would be interested in. WHAT!?!?!? Unbelievable...How about a $25 gift card to cover our gas each way and our 2.5 wasted hours. In hindsight, Antonio knew when we walked in that the car wasn't available. Why didn't they call us or be up front when we walked in??? Such disrespectful and unprofessional business practices ...or just poor customer service - reflecting poor management and leadership. Really frustrated they sold the car out from under us - to an employee...but I guess it's first come first serve...however, they didn't have to lose a future customer, but this type of disrespectful and unprofessional behavior certainly did the trick. If you are considering visiting this dealership, proceed with caution - regardless of what model or deal they say they have.

The leasing agent I worked with was honestly one of the least communicative people I have ever dealt with. I would respond to her emails or messages and then wait DAYS to receive a response. When I finally did hear back, I still couldn't get clear answers about the actual terms of the approval. I was told that my application had been approved, then asked for a down payment. After that, I was repeatedly told that I needed "more" of a down payment, but no one would clearly explain exactly how much was required or what the actual terms of the approval were. How are you supposed to make an informed financial decision when you can't even get basic information about the deal? What made it even worse was that getting an answer to any of these questions could take days. I work in customer service, so I understand that people get busy and responses aren't always immediate. But communication is one of the most basic parts of doing business, especially when you are dealing with something as significant as financing a vehicle. There is a major difference between being busy and simply failing to communicate with a customer. The entire process felt like a waste of my time. It was poorly communicated, unnecessarily confusing, and left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding Fair Lease as a company. I genuinely hope other customers have a better experience than I did, but based on my experience, I would not recommend Fair Lease.
