Im so thankful to have found coach Harry and the prospect team!  Their insight and knowledge has been invaluable. My two boys have loved both the camps and clinics, and their confidence and skills have improved as a result. More importantly, they always have so much fun and make a few new friends. Definitely the best soccer academy in Orange County and the only coaches I trust with my kids.

We have been training with Prospect for four years now. We first started with the summer camps, and since we have added one-on-one personal training, and this fall two of my boys will be attending the Prospect Soccer Academy full time. Rob and Harry are two of the most genuine and passionate trainers we've come across. They truly take pride in teaching the true art of the game, focusing on technique all while keeping the environment, positive, fun and rewarding. Rob and Harry are wonderful roll models and we feel so grateful to have them and PSA in our lives.

Very expensive given the lack of value. Don't expect your kids to learn anything. This is an expensive soccer babysitting service.

My son loved it. Great camp, good coaches, and very fun. I would recommend it to other people.

Each Region also has it's own characteristics which are really driven by the parents and community. I think it's important that folks understand the pros and cons before they decide to enter the program and before they pass judgement on whether they think it is or is not good. Pros: * It's a volunteer organization. So this is your chance to become engaged with your kids activities and give back to the community. * Lots of free training available! * Irvine as a Region is smaller than many of its neighbors, so you can really get to know folks here. * Irvine fields are comparatively awesome. * Recreation play is perfect for kids that are learning or wanted to focus on child development. * The Region invests heavily in their Advanced Play program for competitive development. * The Region has been making great effort to recognize and retain referees. * Much less expensive and more convenient that pay-to-play club soccer. Cons: * Irvine parents and the community are simply not as engaged, which hurts volunteer driven programs. * Volunteers have to deals with entitled parents and children, one bad seed ruins it for everyone sometimes. * You are not guaranteed to be on a competitive team or have an experienced coach. * You are not guaranteed to have an experienced referee for your game, or a referee at all. * Sometimes there are so many emails that it's easy to stop reading them and you may miss important information. * City of Irvine may cancel games on you based on field conditions. * Practices and games are sometimes spread out across many fields. * Overall less organization than some paid, for-profit programs in the area.

Sam and Blake welcomed her with genuine care, guiding her through both physical and mental recovery. Their encouragement and expertise not only helped her regain her strength, kicking, and jumping abilities, but also transformed her footwork, enabling her to play confidently out the back and even on the field. Every week, she looks forward to training and leaves feeling motivated and supported. Sam and Blake's advice has made a huge difference--not just in her play, but in her outlook on life. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and compassion. If you want coaches who truly care and make a lasting impact, I cannot recommend GRIS Football highly enough!

Her skills have noticeable improved and she really enjoys her time here while learning to be more effective on the field and in goal. For our family, we were going in between joining a club or doing one on one training to help her get to the next level and I am absolutely convinced that this was the best option. The facility at Gris is well thought out, with plenty of space for the athletes to do strength training and work on soccer skills. Coaches Blake and Sam have been great about creating a positive environment for my daughter to train in and it always feels like time well spent. We are very happy to have her here and would recommend it to others looking to improve skill sets and become a better, more versatile player overall.

I have two kids who are currently in 9th and 12th grade. Barun Academic Center has been a part of…read moretheir lives since they were in elementary school. As a result, both kids have a solid foundation in math and their writing skills are outstanding. My freshman kid is in pre-calculus right now, and says that class is the easiest of all of the subjects. My 12th grader finished High School Calculus AB and BC (by junior year) getting one A and 3x A+ for those 4 semesters. Because of all of the supplemental math drilling from Baruns, she said calculus, was pretty easy for her. In addition, my eldest kid's writing skills have grown so much through the years while taking various writing classes at Baruns. Baruns has outstanding teachers for writing (among their favs are Stark, Hughes and Jelnick) as well as the math subjects (S. Yoon, et., al). My eldest was able to publish a clinical case report study in a medical journal as a senior in high school. The medical Doctor who reviewed the article prior to publishing, was amazed at her writing process. Much of this development in her writing ability, we attribute to her years spent in supplemental writing classes provided by Baruns. My kids have also benefited from other classes offered such as SAT prep (boot camp), Biology and Chemistry prep. All helpful in allowing my kids to feel comfortable in those classes when taking them in high school. The principal, Ms. Yuri will treat your kids as one of her own, once you are enrolled in any class. She is tenacious, yet loving and will never let your kids slide in to mediocrity, academically. We appreciate all that she has done for our kids and our family.

The majority of my time at Barun consisted of Writing and Math courses throughout elementary, middle, and high school. The preparation and high expectations of success worked excellently to make kids like myself become high achieving especially in the academically competitive city of Irvine. It helped me excel in APPAS, GATE, honors, and bridge exams. In addition, the SAT courses did an amazing job of familiarizing me with the test and preventing test fatigue by having us take constant practice exams. I was very satisfied with my scores and grades throughout my education and I can not thank Barun, specifically Yuri (the lady in charge), enough. Yuri wants the best for her students and this was portrayed through her understanding, caring, yet firm personality. She stresses the importance of learning and this is also representative through the teachers selected for the academy. Barun was different from the other prep centers because of the level of unmatched dedication and involvement that Yuri had in every single student's path. Besides all of my achievements, Barun revives a happy childhood memory in retrospect. I highly recommend checking out Barun because it is truly unique.
