Sam and Blake welcomed her with genuine care, guiding her through both physical and mental recovery. Their encouragement and expertise not only helped her regain her strength, kicking, and jumping abilities, but also transformed her footwork, enabling her to play confidently out the back and even on the field. Every week, she looks forward to training and leaves feeling motivated and supported. Sam and Blake's advice has made a huge difference--not just in her play, but in her outlook on life. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and compassion. If you want coaches who truly care and make a lasting impact, I cannot recommend GRIS Football highly enough!

Her skills have noticeable improved and she really enjoys her time here while learning to be more effective on the field and in goal. For our family, we were going in between joining a club or doing one on one training to help her get to the next level and I am absolutely convinced that this was the best option. The facility at Gris is well thought out, with plenty of space for the athletes to do strength training and work on soccer skills. Coaches Blake and Sam have been great about creating a positive environment for my daughter to train in and it always feels like time well spent. We are very happy to have her here and would recommend it to others looking to improve skill sets and become a better, more versatile player overall.

I'm the only one here. I only work here two days a week. This is an issue for City Council. There are multiple kids' camps happening right now" is unacceptable. If there are multiple kids camps happening, it's even more imperative that a bunch of unknown dogs aren't running around on the same fields, isn't it? This is an issue I have called the Sports Park about multiple times. Why isn't it being addressed? There is a large off-leash dog park nearby in Lake Forest. It is negligent for the management of the Sports Park to leave this unattended, when residents have reported it multiple times. Are you waiting for a child to get mauled before there is a protocol or enforcement? Also, I'm not saying that the person at the front desk is the one who is responsible for this; clearly his hands were tied with multiple responsibilities and this really is a management and security issue. But if that is how he is going to respond to a Lake Forest resident (who should have equal opportunity to safely use this park) who voices a safety concern, please ensure he receives some training. Also, please make sure those leading your group classes don't take photos of class participants and post them online without their permission. This is also really unprofessional.

He had a few at time & learned new skills. The coaches are all kind & supportive. Prospect created a fun & safe learning experience for the players! Everything was well organized, proper amount of water breaks & an all around fun environment for the kids! We found PSA through our Charter School! It was during my son's first soccer season & first sport ever! He was very timid and lacked confidence when he first joined! After a few visits, connection with coaches & other players it quickly became something he begged me to attend weekly! The program is very well organized, has great communication & provides support for the players and parents! Erika is a delight to work with and is very welcoming! My kids look forward to seeing her each session! This is a training program that teaches the kids skills on & off the field! The coaches focus on player development & skills that go beyond just winning the game! Coach Adam has played a crucial role in my children's soccer skills and behavior on the field & at home! He is very patient with the littles & creates a fun learning environment! We've had some 1v1s with him & look forward to working with him more! Both of my children feel seen & heard from all of the coaches! The other players also offer patience and guidance towards one another! My oldest has gained a lot of confidence on & off the field, has a better understanding of body mechanics and has become better at communicating with adults & piers! His skills on the field have drastically improved within the 5 months of being with PSA & I credit Coach's Adam, Harry & Rob for that! We're very blessed and thankful to have found this program and look forward to having PSA as part of our growth and development!

The coaching staff is exceptional--knowledgeable, passionate, and deeply committed to each player's development. The training is top-tier, focusing not only on technical and tactical soccer skills but also on building confidence and a strong work ethic. What truly sets Prospect Soccer apart is their holistic approach to development. Beyond academics and fútbol, the academy offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes entrepreneurship, financial literacy, public speaking, character development, and mental strength. These life skills are just as valuable as what's taught on the field, and they've made a huge impact on our son's growth as both an athlete and an individual. The classroom teachers are also incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. They create a supportive learning environment that complements the values taught on the field. The environment is positive, professional, and inspiring. I highly recommend Prospect Soccer Academy, to any parent seeking more than just soccer training--it's a community that builds champions on and off the field.

This puts the kids in a difficult position and takes away from the development experience families are paying for. Parents invest significant time, money, and trust into a soccer club because they want their children to grow as athletes and as teammates. Unfortunately, it feels like the focus is more on maintaining revenue than building a strong developmental program for the players. A successful club should prioritize player growth, proper preparation, and creating the best possible environment for young athletes. I hope the club listens to parent feedback and makes the necessary changes to put the kids' development first? What is the club's vision for the future, and how does that vision prioritize the growth and development of the players?

My son has played soccer for 6 years, 2 seasons with AYSO and 4 with LNYSA, and we've had amazing…read morevolunteer coaches, fair play time and both fun and competitive WINNING seasons. This year we decided to try Elite soccer league to play closer to home, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences we've had in youth sports. Starting with fees: we paid the standard league registration fees, but right before the first practice we learned we had to pay separately for uniforms and the coach, something no other rec league has ever charged us for, and none of this was communicated upfront. Ironically only league that charged for uniforms and at the same time did not enforce uniforms, there were kids that never once wore the uniform and the coach never addressed it. Now the coaching: they surprised us with a charge for a "pro coach" but what we got was worst than any parent volunteer we've ever had. The coach did nothing but scream the entire season, shouting confusing instructions while the kids were mid play, constantly criticizing and berating them on and off the field for everyone to witness rather than 1 on 1. It was toxic, chaotic and discouraging to watch. The "pro coach" also rarely rotated positions, and never rotated certain kids out. The same kids played the same positions week after week, while others barely got play time. That's unacceptable for a recreational league. It would've been one thing if he had a winning strategy, and kids were positioned to win games, but this wasn't the case, these kids not only lost all but one game; they were absolutely obliterated by HUGE margins (1-9, 0-8, etc.), and he still wouldn't make adjustments. One kid in particular who didn't sit out the entire season, couldn't run, tripped on his own feet and moved like molasses, and no he didn't score one of the 4 goals this team made ALL SEASON, also never wore the uniform. This team played defense the entire time, and never worked on basic offensive skills. It was painful to watch and even worst for the kids' morale. Losing is part of sports and part of learning, that wasn't the issue, it was the constant chaos, negativity, the way these kids were coached (if you can call it that), poor leadership, lack of support, and a toxic tone that made it unbearable. We couldn't wait until this season was over, this was by far the most disappointing program/league we've ever encountered, and any pleasure in attending games was out the window by week two. This was a completely wasted season for my son. We were warned by another mom whose child tried Elite last year, after playing with us at LYNSA the previous 2 years, the experience was so bad her son, he lost interest in soccer all together and hasn't played since; but I never in a million years imagined it could be this bad. I can confidently say, do not waste your money and your child's time with Elite Soccer league. Overall a horrendous experience.

I signed my six-year-old up because the website clearly promised one practice and one game a week…read more Instead, there were no practices at all. I asked for the advertised practices, and Elite said they'd set something up--but after that, they completely ghosted me despite multiple emails and texts. My son only went to one game, and it was such a disaster that he actually lost progress in just that day. Coaches were running around on the field with the kids, shouting instructions as they tried to figure things out, and the coach admitted she didn't know what she was doing and was only volunteering to avoid the cost of hiring a professional coach. This program is misleading, disorganized, and not at all what they advertise.

Website states this but it's false advertising. "No child is left behind" is a joke. All kids are left behind unless picked by the coach!
