I…read morewanted an on demand heater, but was told it would void the warranty...as if there is still an active warranty on a 20 year old rig. The water heater leaked terribly, and although a tech came out and fixed it, there was significant water damage. The roof was allegedly sealed, but only 2 years later there were leaks everywhere and the seal across the rear of the vehicle opened up. I woke up one morning to a cascading sheet of water that soaked the matteress, ruined the bedframe and seemed to compromise the integrity of the entire unit. The incorrect rubber was used around the slide out...they require specific size and type. It wasnt long before there were holes on the floor and ruined carpet at either end. After my rig sat in their yard for 3 weeks, I called to check up on it. They didn't even know who I was or what motorhome I was talking about. I was concerned and went to check on it, discovered that someone had started peeling out the rubber seal around one window...not what i had come for! It was 6 weeks before I got my RV back, $3600 and it was in better shape before i brought it to them. I was new to the world of RVing, but know better now. Shame on Executive RV.

Dave is the principal owner of the business and recently got into the home generator business as a distributor and installer of Generac products. I signed off on an estimate / contract with him to install Generac's largest residential generator. Other than delivering the home generator unit and sub-contracting the gas and electrical hook-ups, I basically had to step in as the general contractor and work with the gas / electrical guys because he would not return phone calls to them or to me. In fact, I had to contact Generac directly to set the generator up and get the 10 year warranty he was supposed to secure for me as part of his estimate and contract. Even his own staff told me privately that he is over his head and not very good with customer support. I do not recommend Ocean West.

On September 18, 2021 I sent them an email, letting the owner (Dave Kuypers) know that I'd removed both my vehicles, so should only be charged through November 14th. I followed up with a phone call. I was told that I'd have to pay through the end of November. I was also told that they don't take deposits. I have a receipt proving that they do. On December 2nd I was charged for the month of December. I called and emailed Dave and he told me that a check was mailed to me. I never received it. After a reasonable amount of time, I asked that they issue another one. I have not received a check or any communication since then, except one voicemail from Dave Kuypers. He was upset that I'd posted a negative review on selfstorage.com. This is the WORST experience I've ever had with a business. Under no circumstances should you do business with Dave Kuypers, OceanWest RV & Marine, or Wiser Lake RV & Boat Storage.

As frequent travelers from Seattle area to Canada for our daughters hockey games, we look forward to staying at Cedars RV Resort and will continue the tradition we've started. Just an extremely well-run operation and we're so happy we discovered this place with such wonderful people. One time the door on our travel trailer somehow wasn't properly secured when we left it... so during a breezy rainstorm while we were not there, the door physically opened. Scott, Cedars maintenance manager, was first to notice the problem and shut the door, but it could not be locked without the key, so Yvette, operations manager, was so kind to call me to make me aware of the situation, out of concern that the door might open on its own again and our camper might be subjected to water damage. Yvette went out of her way to let me know what happened in case I wanted to lock the door, and I thought this really speaks to the high level of customer care at Cedars. With all of her other responsibilities as manager of operations at Cedars, this kind of concern by Yvette and her staff for those at the property was really wonderful, and points to why Cedars is such a beautiful, well-maintained and popular vacation spot.
