Fun newer shop and bar in Cody - intimate speakeasy feel. Friendly staff and great cocktails. The tapas menu is great with changing specials. As always in cattle country one star off for more vegetarian options - they actually had some but were out of the one I would have picked. read more

Yum. Yum. Yum. Just charcuterie and salads but they were perfect. Add some Albariño (which is so rare to find!) and the evening was perfect. They close at 6, and the space is small but spectacular. read more

First of all -- the bartenders are so great and friendly! Probably helps that my friend is a local and knows a lot of people but whatevah! I got some sort of gin and lemony martini-type drink. I think it was called the bee's knees and boy, it sure was! They make great old fashioneds and have the perfect ice balls for it. I didn't go see the patio but I should've checked it out. I'll make this a stop on all of my trips since the ambience is so laid back and comfy with great signage and lighting. read more

I was in town one night. I was told this place was a place to come I showed up. And waited. Then waited. And waited some more. Three drinks in over a two hour period. I switched from cocktails to beer figuring it would be faster. So wrong. It was actually longer. While this place was good it was TERRIBLE on service. If you don't care about having an empty drink for the majority time here than by all means come here. If you want quality service don't come here. I hate poor service and this place is the epitome of that. read more

Fantastic experience here with some great appetizers and some awesome wine and drinks, exceptionally nice cheese and charcuterie plates. Jerry really took care of us and was super attentive, this is worth one more star.... read more

Amazing events and products here. Looking forward to moving back nearby so I can make more frequent visits.

Cody just got a LOT classier! Locals have been waiting with baited breath for another place to open with "real food" (surprisingly hard to find places in this town with fresh non-Cisco selections!) and Juniper's expansion from a wine and spirits store into a bar with small plates does not disappoint. My first time to get in to the new Juniper, I was with a "dude" and we were starving on our way back from a long day on motorcycles. He was in the mood for a burger but agreed to come here since he knew how excited I was to try it out. Amazingly, we started with the mulberry street plate and the portlandia plate and were surprised with how satisfying it was,--(the burger idea was immediately forgotten). Cocktails were fresh and interesting, atmosphere is classy but welcoming (excited to see what they do with the back patio as they get further along!) and the staff is friendly. As for the retail portion of Juniper-- such a great selection and the staff is super helpful at recommending new things to try on any budget. This is definitely where I'd go in Cody to buy a gift for anyone who enjoys alcohol. You won't be disappointed if you try out Juniper. A huge step up for Cody, but would stand up heartily to the competition in any city. read more

Wonderful small town bar that doesn't overdo the western look. Fantastic drink selection all around. The atmosphere inside and out are wonderfully thought through. We came when there were just a few people and it felt like a hidden gem. We stayed in the lofts up stairs on AirBNB. The whole package was amazing. Also the liquor store up front is gorgeous. read more

A sweet find in a great Western downtown. Excellent cocktails and tapas, a slice of cool vibe with down home service. Plus a mercantile section, curated with care. Amazing selection of libation supplies for the discerning road tripper. read more

Surprising, gorgeous little spot in Cody! They have an incredible wine list and an impressive whiskey collection. Will definitely visit every time we're in town! read more

This used to be a great spot for food and drinks. None of the old staff is here. The food, if it is even available, is dressed up dennys. My friends and I went here. Took forever to get a drink and I dont know who is preparing food but it used to be amazing. Was very bland. read more

It is a very odd operation: in front window there is large sign : OPEN; however they are only open part time : some days from Noon to 6 pm.

I enjoyed a nice meal and drinks there while visiting Cody a couple weeks ago. I was impressed with the menu and full bar there. I'll definitely be back. read more

My mom and I popped into the shop to pick up some wine for Christmas. In an area where it can be hard to find a nice selection of quality wine I found Juniper Market to be a nice oasis filled with a wide selection of wines and spirits. Unforunate read more

What a great find! We ended drinking and eating here twice, and we enjoyed having Justin as our waiter both times. The cocktail special (thyme, gin, lemon, et al) was fabulous, and we actually loved a salad -- the blue pig, which has yummy bacon chunks and blue cheese. I'm really picky about my greens, and these were perfect, as was the tangy dressing. We also had pork tacos, which were good. They also have a very wide selection of whisky for sale in the market portion. A wonderful surprise in Cody. read more

I loved this place! We ate here 2 nights in a row and considering we were only in Cody 3 nights, need I say more? My favorite salad in the entire world was the haystack...yummy and the perfect dirty martini I also had a lemon drop martini and it was delicious. The service was amazing and the ambience is cozy. Seriously, don't pass on this place and pick up your favorite wine or liquor while you're at it! read more

What a great find....I was staying one night in Cody, and decided to walk the town. I came across this GEM! Thank you to all of the Junioer Staff this past Wednesday....If in Cody, search this place out...you will be well rewarded... read more

I love Juniper! So happy we accidentally found it. We spent most of the time outside listening to music and it was a perfect spot for it. Super cute and comfy.... seriously my new favorite place. The drinks were fantastic. Great wine selection. I wish I'd have ordered food but we will be back to check that part out. Super friendly service and even the bathrooms are cool! read more

The best bar in Cody. I was born and raised in Cody but have since moved to Portland, OR and now, LA. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised when we discovered this place. An excellent wine list, and I discovered my new favorite whiskey: Widow Jane out of New York. I love that I found this whiskey in small town Wyoming, and I can't find it anywhere in gigantic LA. Please go here and support this local gem! read more

This really is the kind of foodie place you might expect in Portland or Austin. Huge selection of alcoholic beverages worth tasting, and by far the best food we had this week in the Yellowstone area. Don't bother with the mocktails. Not their specialty here. The Love Me A Ginger mocktail is mostly soda. No bitters. The Loring (green chile-artichoke dip) is very parmesan-cheesy. The bar area is quite loud, which comes with modern decor. We're returning tomorrow for charcuterie... (In comparison, Yellowstone restaurants are pretty pathetic in execution. Huckleberry cobbler is microwaved huckleberry jam with something that doesn't resemble crust.) read more

Juniper is a gear spot for excellent libations and wonderful small plates. Minestrone with local veggies, a charcuterie platter with cured meats from Colorado, seasonal white peaches with local ricotta. DH and I have enjoyed three evenings here. The owner, Michelle, is warm, hospitable, and makes an awesome NY Sour. Worth the drive to Cody! It's like the Cheers of the Rockies. read more

Good "fancy" place. They have good cocktail menu, appetizers are very small, service was good, but for some reason they did not bring our order at once, we had 4 people party, so they bring first cocktail, than two more and the rest at the end. We sit at the patio, and overall enjoyed our time at the bar. read more

Interesting setup. Entrance is through a liquor store. Comfortable pleasant atmosphere with tables outside for a more intimate experience. I would like to give it a higher rating because the atmosphere was quite pleasant but I really felt ignored but the wait staff at a time when it was neither crowded nor busy. read more

What a night my wife and I had at this restaurant. We were traveling through and heard about this little wine and cocktail bar and had to check it out. Boy were we surprised at what we found in such a little town. Not only do they have one of the best whisky selections in the state we found out and some really amazing treats on the retail side of there store I was blown away by the customer service I received from the server that was on duty. He was polite, entertaining and had a wide and varied knowledge on all the items that were available not bad for a Friday night. We wined and dinned on some really yummy food specials and had a really exceptional time. Such a great night! Thank you Juniper and Thank you Ed for such a memorable evening. We will definitely be back to see what new goodies you have in store for us. read more

Never been treated with such disrespect in all my years of going to restaurants or bars for that matter. The hired help acts like they are doing you a favor even pouring you a drink. Used to be a customer at their 2ab location. Expect a lot more from Michelle and her employees. I was dumbfounded at the lack of service. Don't go here! Do yourself a huge favor. read more

A good place to go for a smoker (outside on their back patio) or inside in a ventilated room. My husband enjoyed his cigar on the "shabby chic" patio with umbrellas at individual tables. There were also low tables with cushioned chairs, music and a casual ambiance with an upscale flair in the small "tapa style" plates they offer. We had the bruschetta pate, with 3 different garnishes, all very tasty. Many colorful window boxes filled with flowers lined the fenced wall. We had the bruschetta plate with 3 different toppings, all very tasty. The wine I had was excellent, and there are extensive varieties of whiskeys to explore. You can also purchase them by the bottle as well. This was a nice, quiet place (at least on this Friday evening) to come and "chill" with drinks and a small appetizer after a day of exploring Yellowstone and before going elsewhere for dinner! Adults only- not a good place for kids!! read more

What an amazing spot that just brought to Cody what's "THE" trend when it comes to restaurant! Being form LA and having seeing so many places, I can assure this place is worth a detour if your are living or visiting Cody...ambience is absolutely unique and outstanding! Their wine list will please you whatever wine you enjoy! Did I mention their whiskey? You will not find a place out there with such a sophisticated and distinct list of this liquor! Juniper is a "Must" try!! I also just love their menu as it is very elaborate and for all taste! Everything is fresh and yummy :) The staff is so awesome you will feel home as soon as you walk in...I can't wait to go to Cody to go back! Oh and, I almost forgot! There is a store inside the place so you can purchase some wonderful wines while you are there! Everything you need in a one of a kind location! read more

It is a really nice place for a beverage and appetizer light meal. The service is typically good and they frequently have music. It is one of our favorites and I love to come here. Our server was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. We enjoyed the Rocket Queen and some classics. The Haystack salad with beets was yummy. We also had the blue pig and the chicken tacos. No complaints. All very tasty. Their retail part is nicely stocked and we picked up a few bottles of wine. The outside patio looked nice but there was a cigar smoker so we stayed inside. Very comfortable environment. read more

I was in Cody for a couple evenings inbetween touring around the nearby national parks, and Juniper stood out amongst the other local businesses. The shop carries a variety of wines, spirits and fine foodstuffs. The classy little bar in back is the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed glass of wine, or a beer on the outdoor patio. My friend and I ordered a couple cocktails that were some of the most unique I've seen in awhile...mine was a spicy champagne with fresh basil, his a smooth and not-too-sweet chocolaty beer cocktail made with Guinness. Both excellent. Their official grand opening is still a few days away so I didn't get to try much from their small plate menu, but I did sample something from the cheese plate, a delicious local smoked cheddar. The staff here are all really friendly and fun to chat up, plus you can tell they're a tight-knit bunch themselves. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Juniper has such a great atmosphere and I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in Wyoming again! read more

This place is phenomenal. At Juniper you can treat yourself to amazing wines, cocktails and specialty drinks outside the same boring drink menus you will find elsewhere. It doesn't stop there - the bites of food accompany the drinks perfectly and are a party to your tastebuds! (Yep a real wine-bar menu people!) The service is experienced; professional, yet laid-back, conversational and accommodating. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. If I lived a bit closer I would be a regular. If you are a local tune into their special events to capture all they have to offer! Oh and I can't forget to mention the amazing little shop up front. Buy delightful chocolates, upscale culinary treats and they have a spectacular liquor store. Get anything from your cheap weeknight must-have to wines and liquors you won't see anywhere around. They even have great root beer! Thank you Juniper!! read more
