I trust Dr. Propper and his approach to health. My closest family and friends say they know someone is good when I choose to stick with them. I thoroughly evaluate all my medical decisions and am discerning with my medical care choices, as everyone should be. Dr. Propper is a great choice. I highly recommend him to anyone. Despite believing in natural healing and the benefits of chiropractic care, I share the skepticism that many share with regard to chiropractors. However, that skepticism is no different from the skepticism I have with respect to conventional doctors and conventional medicine. Whichever route you choose, you need to find the right professional for your care. It's unfortunate that so many allow their skepticism to keep them from choosing chiropractic care for their health, but in the alternative will hang onto a conventional doctor's every word without question. I asked numerous questions of Dr. Adam Propper when we met and I have continued to do so at almost every appointment. Dr. Propper always has the patience and expertise to answer every single question in a sensible enlightening manner. Dr. Propper and his approach to health simply make sense. Dr. Propper took himself to an elevated level of respect and trust when he was able to diagnose my upper respiratory viral infection within seconds using a brief muscle reflex test and no tools or machines. My conventional doctor made the same diagnosis, but only after several minutes of listening to my lungs and looking in my ears, nose and throat with the use of tools. My conventional doctor told me there was nothing to prescribe to help me, which was fine by me because I prefer to stay away from prescription drugs and other pharmaceuticals. But, I was miserable and couldn't sleep. I wasn't sure how my body would battle this infection if I couldn't get proper rest. Dr. Propper, on the other hand, gave me a nutritional supplement that he told me would offer relief within 24 hours. No more than 22 hours later, without exaggeration, my illness went from miserable and unbearable to feeling like nothing more than a modest cold. An injury almost 8 years ago left me in serious pain and after going to neurologists, rehab therapists, acupuncturists etc etc I realized that I would just have to live w constant chronic discomfort with periodic flare ups. Thanksgiving day 2017, I found my husband "hiding out" in our basement in excruciating pain from a disc problem in his neck. My sister suggested I call Adam Propper the next morning, which I did and he told us to come right into the office (even though the office was closed). He examined my husband, treated him, and set up a plan of action. We wanted to cover all our bases, so we also sought out two other doctors' opinions. I have been going to Propper Chiropractic for 20 years. When I started there, I could barely stand up straight due to my poor spinal condition. Adam and Jen got me straightened out, to the point that my then-young son told me he thought I'd gotten taller. Most recently, in addition to my spinal maintenance, I have been getting nutritional supplement treatment to bring what was a worn-out immune system back to normal function. It's likely to take a year to get to where I want to be, but it will be well worth the time as I couldn't get a definitive answer from any doctor as to why I'd gotten pneumonia 7 times. Dr. Propper has helped me immensely with a hip injury and also a pinched nerve issue with my upper back! When I first came to see him 6 months ago I was in agony and now I feel AMAZING!! I'm able to ride my bike again and my pinched nerve (which caused me to have shingles) has completely healed.
