Yeah... I'll be back, 47 Hills. And next time I'm ordering one of everything…read more.. 47 Hills is a lowkey brewery tucked into a quieter, more industrial part of town. Parking can be a little sparse, but if you're down to walk a block or two, you're set. Service is simple and easy. Walk in, order at the bar, and grab a buzzer that lights up and vibrates when your food's ready. The space itself is very cool. Tons of big TVs playing sports, rows of pinball machines ready to eat your quarters, and a laid-back vibe that makes it perfect for hanging out. And the food? It HITS. Huge, juicy wings sauced to absolute perfection. Definitely do half-and-half for max flavor fun. The burger also delivers -- super juicy and made me feel borderline primal while sipping a cold beer. Only hiccup was asking for pepper jack and getting blue cheese instead, but the bar was super apologetic and comped us a free beer for the mix-up. Shoutout to them for that. The beer menu leans lighter, crisper, and a little sweeter, with lots of lagers and ciders. Everything I tried was genuinely tasty. Overall, like I said... I'm absolutely coming back to work my way through the rest of their food and beer lineup.

The venue itself is cool, it 's basically just a warehouse and has a good amount of seating and lots of pinball machines (fun). Not sure if this is normal for them or if their taps were broken but they only had 1 beer and 1 cider available and they were being served out of a red cooler at just above room temperature. 2 of our dishes came out after 10 minutes and after 30+ minutes, I had to ask about our other friend's food that never came out to which they couldn't find the ticket for and ended up refunding. I ordered the burger, which was good. My friend ordered the tacos, which she enjoyed. I also got the churros which none of their menus (online or in person) mentioned were filled - these were not good. Probably wouldn't have gotten them if I knew they were filled. Wasn't a terrible experience but wasn't great either.. my friend hypes this place so I might give it another try but as of that one visit, not impressed.

We've been coming here since they opened, literally. We braved the rain storm to come by on Opening…read moreDay, since we had been looking forward to it coming when it was first announced. We were previously fans of Local Kitchens (LK) from trying other locations in the past. Over the years since they opened, the menu has changed a bit. There are still some of the original partners, but there has also been some turnover. Square Pie Guys and Boba Guys are two staples that are still available. This has become one of our favorite spots to get pizza in the area. The thick crispy crust is some of the best, and we like the wings too! Other newer options include a Sonoran-inspired menu from Chef Rick Martinez with dishes such as: Chips & Frijoles, a Jalapeño Ranch Wedge Salad, Carne Asada Taco, Chicken and Vegetable Adobada Tacos and Burritos, Rice Plates and Berry Dessert Nachos. The tacos are pretty tasty, and we recently tried the salad -- I have to say it was surprisingly spicy. This from people who order everything spicy, both the wifey and I made comments about the mouth tingles it gave us. The order comes with two pieces; make sure to eat them as soon as possible, as they will get wilted from all the dressing and sauces. There's a middle-eastern style menu from Israeli Chef Einat Admony with dishes like: Black Garlic Cauliflower, Homemade Hummus and falafel, and pita bread. They have a very tasty Amba Chicken that you can get in a Pita wrap, Rice Plate, or Hummus Plate. You can also get the aforementioned options with their Housemade Green Falafel. My wife is a huge fan of the yellow Amba Aioli, and we love to get the cauliflower dish with the black garlic sauce, even if we don't get anything else from that menu. If you're looking for a burger, look no further than their collab with Chef Alvin Cailan. On this menu, you can get the signature SOB Burger (regular, hot, or with bacon), a double ("The Overachieving SOB Burger"), fries, a Molasses Chocolate Chunk Cookie. We really like their burgers, and were even invited to the launch of this menu, where we got to meet Chef Alvin and watch a live demonstration of him making his famous SOB burger! While they no longer have Proposition Chicken by name, they do have a rebranded version featuring Chef Ari Feingold, who is the Executive Chef and Owner of Prop Chicken. The menu is a little different, featuring options like: Fried Chicken Tenders, The Fried (and spicy) Chicken Sandwich, Fried Chicken Salads, and "Prop Spiced Fries". We are big fans of the Prop seasoning. It's really good on the fries, and I love ordering the chicken tenders since they use it on them, and the breading reminds me more of a fish & chip taste, which I love! Each of the places has their own selection of sauces that you can add to the dish, or order extras of on the side. Most of them are $1/each, aside from the Mike's Hot Honey ($1.50) and the Pecan Salsa Macha Norteña ($2). A moment of silence for some of the Opening Day options that are no longer available at the San Bruno location: The Melt, Sushirrito, Nopalito Taqueria, Humphry Slocombe, Milk Bar. The staff has always been very friendly when coming in, greeting us with a smile. The food tends to be ready on the early side of the estimate when placing orders on the LK app. There have been times (including our recent Super Bowl order) where items (mostly sauces) have been missing. We always make sure to do a quick check inside the dining room or in the car before taking off. This most recent time we were missing several sauces, but the guy at the counter was super accommodating and eventually got us everything we paid for. Thanks LK for always churning out reliable quality food -- we look forward to new menus dropping soon, and hopefully more fun launch parties! @bbnem.eats

Excellent, quick service and friendly staff!…read more Parking is abundant, this restaurant is at a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. Staff is friendly! I could tell the manager really cares about your experience! I bought a bunch of food and I can tell he was grateful just for that. The rest of the staff was just as nice. I got strawberry matcha milk tea, the carne asada bowl, and the spicy chicken strips. Everything was excellent, they have a huge selection of food and have taken partnerships with surround restaurants to create a phenomenal menu of options from many different cuisines. The restaurant is clean and cozy! They have sofa you can sit and eat/wait at, they tables that are both high and low tables taking everyone's experience in consideration. They also have an outdoor patio that's beautiful, great when the weather warm. All in all I will be returning, you can't go wrong at this place and if you do, they will make it right

Let's start with the food. My partner and I had the Mexican Hash and Elvis pancakes, respectively. My partner (who is Mexican) was not impressed by the hash, and said it didn't taste very authentic. I enjoyed the Elvis pancakes--named for the fact that they're made with peanut butter, honey, and bananas. The flavor profile was good, but the pancakes were chewy and dry. I enjoyed the flavors, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Beyond that, the service was not great. Our table was dirty and while the server said she would come clean it for us, she never did. The table only had one set of silverware and I was never brought any during our meal, I had to grab them off of an adjacent table. We were not given water, or asked if we wanted any, and our server checked in on us so infrequently that we had to flag down a different one just to ask for water. The prices were fine. Nothing unusual for the Bay Area, so that was a bonus at least, but there's no way I'm ever going back.

It was also slightly on the drier side, but the coleslaw served alongside helped balance things out nicely and added some freshness to the meal. I got a giants burger in a lettuce wrap, an order of the small mouth burger, kids sliders, and my husband got a big mouth burger. I also wanted to get a couple of cookies n cream milkshakes but sadly, they did not have that flavor, only vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and banana. We opted for a couple of vanilla/chocolate swirls instead. The milkshakes came out first - they were on the thicker side so we had to wait a bit for it to melt first, but otherwise were creamy, sweet, and delicious. The kids enjoyed their meals - the small mouth burger came with additional toppings like pickles and onions on the side. The sliders were plain. My giants burger came out initially with no onion rings but the staff proactively realized their mistake and brought this out to me on the side. However, they also forgot the BBQ sauce that was supposed to come with it, which would have been a nice touch. The patty was a bit on the salty side. All the meals had fries on the side, with the giants burger coming with garlic/parmesan fries.

I was running a little bit late, so I don't know what everyone ordered but " we basically got one of everything" so that sounded comprehensive. I always expected this place to be more mediocre quality because it's a chain - but I was pleasantly surprised that most of the food was pretty good (for a chain). combine with late hours BJ's is a super choice for late night munchies or post-concert grub. My favorite were the sliders, but honestly would get the appetizer spread again with friends. The Pazooki part, however, wasn't as stellar as my friends were hoping because allegedly the cookies and cream version wasn't as good. My take is that it was wayyyyy smaller than I expected (how it feels like to be a woman lol jk). I'd come back for the late night hours (especially with Chili's closing at 10pm) - so it's great to have this option in the Peninsula.

We arrived around 2:00 PM and experienced long delays--our children's food took about 40 minutes, and our meals came even later. Items were missing from our order, and it took additional time to receive them. Although another server stepped in and was helpful, our assigned server (AJ) became visibly upset when we requested our birthday desserts to-go, acted unprofessionally, and made disrespectful remarks. Manager Eva Lucero did apologize, but the situation continued when the server returned and behaved inappropriately, which was unacceptable. To make matters worse, other tables seated after us were served much faster. This experience negatively impacted what should have been a special celebration. I would appreciate this being addressed, as I also requested a refund that was not resolved.
