Daniel quickly set up a call with me and my wife to discuss the event and exactly what we were looking for. The moment I got on the phone with Daniel I felt at ease, and I knew we had made the right choice. Even given the very short notice Daniel was able to source an amazing DJ, integrate our music requests, coordinate timing, make sure the equipment was all set to go, etc. The DJ was amazing, and was super responsible regarding setup/soundcheck--I didn't need to do nor worry about anything besides showing up to my own event. I never once felt stressed or concerned. On top of that, Daniel is extremely responsive (much more so than other companies I looked into), and his pricing is extremely competitive. I would 100% recommend Daniel and DLE to anyone who needs a DJ for their event!

We used DLE for our wedding and I cannot say this loud enough--they were unreal. From day one,…read moreDaniel was hands-down the best partner to work with. Over the year leading up to the wedding, we had so many conversations with him about everything: timeline, music taste, overall vibe, even specific songs I wanted before and after certain speeches. He never made anything feel like a burden. He listened, he got it, and he even suggested ideas we didn't think of--but ended up loving. And then the actual wedding day... DLE somehow topped our expectations. The energy was insane in the best way. The musicians were literally on the dance floor all night, the vibe was perfect for every age, and I'm not exaggerating when I say every single guest was dancing. People kept asking us who the band was. We also added the sax and guitarist for cocktail hour, and it set the tone for the entire night--cool, elevated, fun, and effortless. Bottom line: DLE made our wedding. If you want a packed dance floor and a team that cares as much as you do, book them. I'd do it again 10/10.

There is no one in the world like Roey Mizrahi. We first hired Roey shortly after becoming engaged…read moreduring the winter of 2018, at the start of (what we thought would be) an 18-month lead up to our wedding. Little did we know, Roey would skillfully shepherd us through three years of pandemic related delays, vendor shuffles and other mishigas. At every turn, she kept us energized, positive and excited while also keeping us on track. Quite frankly, our wedding would not have been possible without her. She was the perfect curator, cheerleader and creative partner. Roey understood and expanded on our vision in countless thoughtful ways along the epic journey. She helped us source, communicate, and partner with a cadre of all-star vendors. Working seamlessly to interface between the two of us, our vendors and our venue. We lost track of how many calls, emails and design meetings we had over the years, but she brought the same level of kindness, patience and attention to every single conversation. When the weekend of our wedding finally arrived, Roey and her entire team made magic and moved mountains. The team brought a level of unprecedented professionalism and understated showmanship to every element of the fête. Roey's warm kindness kept us supported and smiling in the quiet moments between the big ones. Her inventive and collaborative approach to wedding planning is truly second-to-none. She is in a class of her own. We will be forever grateful for the truly special touch that Roey brought to the planning and execution of our favorite weekend of all time.

PLEASE save yourself a lot of time and trouble and look elsewhere. Our experience with Roey was…read moreextremely frustrating. Over the two months that we were in touch with her, Roey consistently failed to communicate in anything remotely resembling a timely manner, citing every excuse under the sun. Here are some examples: 1. It was her birthday so her texts were delayed (?) 2. Her e-mail wasn't receiving messages (3 times) 3. Her e-mail wasn't receiving OR delivering messages (2 times) 4. Her website was down 5. She "lost" my fiancee's e-mail 6. Her phone wasn't delivering text messages (4 times) 7. Her assistant was supposed to take care of it 8. She was at a funeral 9. She was unexpectedly having a root canal You will notice that not a single one of these excuses has anything to do with her professional career. We know that wedding planners are busy and had Roey told us she was working an event or was tied up in preparations for another wedding, that would have been 100% acceptable. However, while we are also extremely understanding of the occasional personal emergency and chalked it up to a fluke the first few (!) times Roey failed to get back to us for personal reasons, we quickly started to run out of patience. After a pretty constant battle on my fiancee's part and a lot of very delayed, long-winded, and rather bizarre "explanatory" e-mails in response, Roey ultimately provided us with zero usable vendors. Everything we booked while under contract with Roey, we found ourselves. Needless to say, we terminated said contract. On July 19th she agreed to refund our $2500 deposit. On August 14th, after five e-mails from my fiancée as well as several text messages, we still hadn't received our money back. Guess what? Her assistant was supposed to take care of it. THEN apparently fraud was detected on her account and she had to cancel the check. However, as soon as we began to file with small claims court, (with the support of our lawyer who wholeheartedly agreed that we had a cut and dry case) the check was immediately "in the mail and on its way," though it still didn't make it to us for another ten days, FIVE WEEKS after we initially asked for it back. Here's the thing: a wedding planner's primary job is to make your life easier. Roey will not do that. We switched to Starling on Bond and they have been ten thousand times more helpful in the two weeks we've been working with them than in the two months we wasted with Roey. Please save your money and your sanity and trust someone else with your big day!

We would definitely highly recommend hiring them and personally we will definitely use them again for any occasion. We have been telling everyone in person how amazing they are but we had to share it here as well because they deserve the credit. They even were sweet enough to help us clean up the room after and get everything to our car - which just says something about their character. The only wedding photos I had ever seen were the classic over the top style with saturated colors and the "deep love" poses, and Toni's photos really stood out to us both. I always wanted something more natural but still beautiful. The only thing that made me nervous is I didn't know her - most of my friends and family used the same wedding photographer and we were going off the typical path. But we could not have been more happy with Toni! The experience started with an amazing engagement shoot that came with the package. Not only was she wonderful, punctual, and professional, but the shots came out amazing. We used them for our save the dates and people loved them, and it set the tone for what the wedding was going to be like. It also made up the majority of our wedding website. Throughout the wedding process, Toni kept in touch and discussed what we wanted on our wedding day. And on the day of, she was an all star. Again punctual and professional, and her second shooter was as well. But she also kept us feeling calm, happy, and enjoying the moment. She stayed on task and remembered what shots we wanted even in the chaos of the moment. Toni's photos were so natural and yet still made us look amazing, way better than I've ever photographed before hahaha. We just got the digital prints back, and my productivity has gone down at least 50% because I just keep looking at the pics instead of staying on task! Not only can my wife and I recommend her as a photographer, but also as someone we now consider a friend. Five stars!! More if I could!
