Wow! There is a lot to say about the amazing experience we had using Bruno to capture my proposal in Paris. From the get go, Bruno immediately starts working with you from your first contact to start planning the perfect proposal. For my experience we talked over Skype so that we could get familiar with each other. Together we worked up the perfect plan to propose at the Temple de Sybille at the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. Sadly, on the big day, we got to the park and found they had closed it due to strong winds (we soon found out that all the parks in the city were closed)! But this is where having a professional like Bruno payed off. While I rerouted us to the Louvre via the metro, Bruno zoomed over there and got ready to meet us at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. I passed by him sneakily taking our photographs and began to lead my soon-to-be-fiancée to a empty area by the Porte des Lions. I have to mention that from the time I first saw Bruno starting to take our photos, I didn't have to communicate with him at all. He gracefully followed behind us and captured excellent candid photos. Once the proposal was over, he introduced himself to my fiancée and we began a private photo session in which he expertly guided us in getting wonderful engagement photos. I can not stress enough how much of a great time we had, and how much my fiancée was absolutely thrilled that I had hired a photographer to take these photos. It is absolutely a great thing to do so that you have wonderful mementos of such a joyous occasion, wonderful memories, and from my experience, having a local familiar with the city is worth it's weight in gold as they can give wonderful advice on locations, times to do it that are less crowded, what to wear. For years I dreamed of giving my fiancé a memory of a lifetime by proposing to her in Paris. More than an incredible photographer, Bruno acted as my Parisian proposal consultant. I live in San Francisco CA and was planning to propose to my girlfriend on a trip to Paris. I wanted to hire a professional photographer to stay hidden and photograph the whole event. This might be one of the easiest 5 star reviews I'll ever write. Bruno went above and beyond in every imaginable way. After I made the decision that I was going to propose to my girlfriend in Paris and I knew that I wanted it to be a huge surprise. I also knew I wanted the moment to be captured (in secret!) so the my now fiancee and I would be able to remember it for the rest of our lives. After searching the web I had come across a couple different options but the one that stood at the most was Proposal-in-Paris.com. The biggest difference between Bruno and the other proposal photographers is that I got the very deep sense that Bruno truly cared. Again, unlike the other photographers, he Skypes with you to make you comfortable with both him and his city. He wants the moment to be perfect in every way and as such he does everything he can to make sure you are prepared. He first offered me a few different locations that would be perfect for capturing the moment; once we decided on 'the one' he created the perfect route and walked me through step-by-step. This, as it turns out, was incredibly helpful as it makes the day of far less stressful and let me focus on the moment at hand instead! As for the day of, to say that it was perfection would be an understatement. I texted Bruno once we landed and made sure we would be able to communicate. After that there were some tense moments around the weather and trying to schedule around it, but we ended up sticking with the originally scheduled time. I was shocked at how close he was able to get before the fiancée noticed he was there! Bruno is basically a ninja. Not going to lie. What followed as the most magical photoshoot that I will ever take part in. Bruno knew all the best places to shoot, while avoiding the insanity that is Paris at rush hour. I will never forget Bruno pinning his flash between his legs while basically dangling into the Seine for the perfect shot! He is also masterful at capturing emotion. He finds little ways and eliciting smiles and love. (Now I know why he was asking all those questions during the Skype interview!!) He captured the most amazing pictures I have ever seen and as a result my fiancée and I now have memories that will last a lifetime! He somehow managed to make it stop raining long enough to propose and turned the rain back on for the most amazing final picture (in a drizzle!) right in from of the Louvre! Bruno was a pleasure to work with, and he really took the time to help plan every detail to ensure everything went as smooth as possible. He conducts himself in a professional and cordial manner, and my fiancé found him charming and personable because he remembered all the little details I had told him about her while we were having our secret planning conversations. Bruno recently captured my proposal in Paris and he was fantastic! I was so shocked to find out that he was following us around the whole time leading up to the proposal.
