I got a…read morefew estimates from different painters and I was impressed with Mike's knowledge and professionalism during the initial walk through to get an estimate. He had prefaced his visit saying that his company normally charges slightly more than others since he provides quality work. His price was very competitive and was actually the lowest bid we got. for the job itself, DBK did an awesome job, and I was surprised that there were about 6-7 guys working on the job for 3 days. all of the guys were pretty cool, and one even helped me change one of my door locks that was stuck. they fixed all of the nail pops and patched all of the holes in the walls that were there from the previous owner. they even removed a few wall mirrors and patched up behind them. overall I was quite impressed with the work that they did and my home looks really nice now. I would definitely recommend (and have recommended) DBK painting to everyone.

WORST ONE WAY communication in my experience !! Requested…read morequote for power wash (with pictures). Received reply saying their normal response time was 1-2 hours. FIVE DAYS later with no response emailed them again. Got boilerplate excuse (busy season, miscommunication, blah, blah) saying I'd have a quote by email. I followed up TWO DAYS later, and got a quote with a two page list of conditions, one of which required a 50% deposit with NO COMMITMENT for date(s) the service would be provided. Also they listed credit card as an acceptable payment method but DID NOT reveal that they assessed a 3% service charge (I had to ASK in a separate communication). Cannot comment on quality of the actual service I was requesting because I declined the quotation. If they CANNOT communicate in the quotation stage, how am I supposed to trust them by just GIVING them money in advance and no commitment for the work?

Removing the ivy from the trim and around the windows was a messy and time-consuming job, but Jorge understood that the old wood of the windows wouldn't stand up to pressure washing, so he did all the prep work by hand. Then, he and his team were able to complete the painting in just a couple of days. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the result and the price. We will definitely recommend Jorge to friends.

He gave us a quote a few months ago with specific dates in June to powerwash and paint 3 days later and was right on the spot. Just after I got a price from him, I recommended him to my daughter in Homer Glen (I live in Plainfield). She had a much bigger house and also did a great job on her house (she doesn't write reviews, but I thought I'd mention Jorge also did a GREAT job on her house). He is also very conscientious. I look forward to saving up some money so when it is Winter time or Spring and he cannot yet paint outside, I'm hoping to have him do some inside painting.

The company is very rude to woman. I will find someone who paints houses and is respectful to women.
