I bought a home on Long Island, and came across Vinny and Square One on Yelp. I am very glad I went…read morewith him (part of my decision process was to chose him because of his good Yelp review, and I am more than happy to confirm it is very deserving). Vinny was incredibly professional, courteous, prompt, and answered all of my questions. His pricing was perfectly reasonable and on par with the market. I had many people at my property when Vinny was doing the inspection (landscapers, plumbers, etc) and Vinny was very patient and had no issues doing the inspection while I was talking to others, and he stayed until the very end. He got me my full inspection report the next day. And he accepted Venmo payment (which was very convenient for me). And he had a question about ventilation in my attic, raised a concern to me, and was able to get on the phone with the builder and get everything completely squared away. Vinny won't just mindlessly tick the box during your inspection, if he sees something that doesn't make sense not only will he point it out but will take the time to explain to you what it is and why he observed it. You get a sense that he really cares and wants the best for his clients. I could not say anything bad about Vinny and would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone in need of an inspection. 10/10.
