Well, I've been living in the Steele Creek area going over a year now have no complaints. When I…read moreneeded repairs done they -Tammaria was on it immediately! George the property manager is very courteous when I need advice. To me, personally speaking the team is great! I live in a semi gated Townhouse dwelling and it's safe here, the neighbors so friendly no crime to my knowledge and no drama. Even though I'm renting, I told George I would like to be the first perspective buyer if it go on the market. He obliged and said will let me know. Hopefull I will be a longstanding tenant. I treat this propery like it is my own with respect. I retired from New York and lived in Charlotte going on two years. Grew up in a house and this one here feels so close to home!

If I could give a negative zero, this company would get just that. The person who owner the house I…read moream renting, must had sold it to a company which hire these people to manage the property. Now, Bottom Line is raising my rent, charging extra fees which doesn't make sense like paying for their internet for the company to use, and they are charging me an extra month on my rent. My original lease started on 8/15 & ended 8/31. This new lease starts on July 1 so why am I losing a month? I tried calling these people and they either doesn't answer, passing you on to other people who does not return calls. I would mess with this company in any kind of way.

Seeking a new property manager in July of 2019 we found and started talking with Hunter Goodwin…read more This was not our first rodeo, having been left disappointed with other management companies. We found Hunter to be responsive, informative, and personable. Hunter met me at our property and spent considerable time discussing our property, aspects of property management, how PHM works, etc. I was left glad for the encounter and comfortable with Hunter as a potential representative and as a person. Searching for potential tenants he guided us well on the initial decision to go with one of those, and on subsequent decisions along the way. We've come to trust and value Hunter's advice and management.

My husband and I found a home we really liked on Zillow, so I reached out to schedule a tour. Lynne…read moreresponded, but communication was inconsistent and eventually stopped altogether. Rick followed up by text on Friday, and we scheduled a tour for the next afternoon. I explained that we were relocating from Florida and would only be in town that weekend to see homes. When I asked about Sunday, he said he could only do Saturdays because "Sundays are for football." I understand having time off, but the response felt unprofessional. We arrived ten minutes early for our tour the next day, but Rick never showed up. When I contacted him, he said he had forgotten and hadn't written it down. The poor communication and missed appointment left us with little confidence in the company's organization or professionalism. We decided not to reschedule because this experience raised concerns about how we might be treated as tenants.

My review to express my disappointment regarding the condition of the home I recently rented…read morethrough Invitation Homes at Olive Coast Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. During the onboarding and move-in inspection process, several items were identified that required repair or attention. Although my lease began in April and rent was paid for that month, I did not move into the property until May. Given that the property was vacant during that time, I reasonably expected that the identified issues would have been addressed before my move-in date. Unfortunately, when I moved into the home, many of the outstanding items had not been completed. As a result, I was required to take time away from work shortly after moving in to accommodate maintenance visits and repairs that could have been completed before occupancy. As a tenant, I believe it is reasonable to expect that a home is move-in ready at the start of the tenancy, particularly when concerns have already been documented and there was ample time to address them before occupancy. The inconvenience of coordinating repairs after moving in, combined with the need to miss work, has been frustrating and disruptive. I paid rent beginning in April, and I believe the property should have been inspected and prepared for occupancy before my move-in date. Instead, I was left dealing with issues that had already been identified, causing unnecessary inconvenience during what should have been a smooth transition into my new home. I respectfully request that Invitation Homes review this matter and consider an appropriate accommodation for the inconvenience and time I lost from work while facilitating repairs. I would appreciate a prompt response outlining how these concerns will be addressed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Cheryl Ann Snyder-Samuel Charlotte, NC

They advertise homes in communities with amenities. But won't upkeep those amenities. Their website…read moreis basically hostile, and can never upload anything correctly. So if you cure a violation, they won't submit it to HOA, nor pay their HOA dues, so then you're out your amenities for months. David Guy is the local contact for CLT HOAs and is rude and dismissive. It took over 6 months to fix an issue with our HOA (not violation related on us, the tenants) so we were out gym, pool, and social access for our neighborhood. He is impossible to get a hold of, never answers emails, and is just plain rude when he finally does. We have done everything the HOA has asked immediately, and it always falls on waiting on Invitation Homes to do their side. It would be much easier if they allowed the tenants to handle things with the HOA themselves.

Stay away from this realtor. This is the worst place I have…read moreever stayed. Abernathy Park, in Greensboro, ran by this company. For starters the water pressure is low and the way they bill for the water is criminal. When I went to visit my family for 3 weeks, my water bill for that time period was higher? I was not even home. I submitted a request with 4 items on it after 4 visits from maintenance, I canceled the request. You have been to my house four times already and still have not resolved my issues They promise a full-size washer, but after 3 washing machines, I have never gotten more than a medium load for cold water and the hot will not do anything larger than a small. They keep wanting to switch the washer out- After the 3rd was delivered-the maintenance told me they know the machines are bad and he wanted to order me a new machine. This is hideous. Why did you not do that from the beginning, if you knew they were bad? I declined all maintenance requests going forward. What was fixed is now broken again. Recently, I put in another maintenance request when there was a foul odor in the apartment and how it made me sick enough to go to the doctor, and three days later, no one came to check my vents or air quality in my apartment. There is dog feces everywhere, the residents who do not have pets are forced to deal with this. Management does nothing about people letting their animals poop any and everywhere. They even stated to me when I complained that "They do not clean dog poop". The turnover for the apartments is big, people move in and out asap! Many even break the lease, as it is not a safe place for humans, only dogs! Let this serve as a warning. Management is unprofessional and shallow!! They had new roofing installed, and my balcony was full of debris, which I had to clean, but when they replaced the shingles on the office building, they put down tarps so the debris would not get on the grounds. Just like they do not clean dog poop, I see no where in my lease where I am responsible for cleaning trash that management leaves on the premises.
