Prior to my tour, I was in contact with Teja who was very helpful. When it came to the day of the tour, I guess there was a mix up in agents, but Janaka ended up showing up to the building, to give me a tour of the place. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable! :) During the application process, the application is very old school. It took us a few days to get everything together. We had to print and scan a bunch of documents then submit it via email. From what I know of family who work in the industry, most applications are done online and you can submit information as well as link bank accounts electronically lol. I wasn't comfortable submitting all of our personal information via email, so I asked for them to call me for additional information that I'd be able to provide over the phone. Although the application process was odd, the service was pretty great. The only reason I deducted a star was because like other reviews have said, they don't get back to you after your application. I had to keep reaching out to them to get answers. I also didn't like that they assume instead of verify. My husband and I rent an ADU in Commerce, but they said "currently listed address in application doesn't seem to be a rental". My husband has been here a few years and I just moved in last year. His driver's license and some bills reflect our current address, but we were never asked for additional information to verify. We also make well over the standard 2.5-3x income. I am pretty chill so I'm okay with not being selected for the unit as it is privately owned, but I didn't appreciate having to wait and keep asking for updates on why we weren't selected lol. Anyways, great people! It's just the communication that could be better and more clear. I would still recommend Perch Properties based on my interactions, because they still respond if you reach out to them :)

This might be a long review, because I have so much good to say about RAD Homes. I had been…read moredreading putting up a property I owned for sale, because it was in a complex that is pretty distressed and I knew it would be a headache. In fact, I was a little embarrassed to even show the property to any realtor, but Aurelia is someone who had advertised in the community to pick up canned goods for the unhoused, and I reached out to her to pick up some food from me for that reason, so I thought, "she's compassionate." And I was right. Not only did she handle the specific "work arounds" of the HOA, but she was able to put my mind at ease about the process, land the exact right offer and run interference in a very touch-and-go negotiation. I love the fact that all of the documents are so easy to deal with and sign, even from my phone on the go, so we could move the process along quickly once it got going. Having someone who you know is really on your side as the client is a huge relief. There are so many people out there looking to take advantage of every angle to make a quick buck, but Aurelia actually cares about YOU. There was one point in the process where I was stressed out about one of the many things that crop up and she actually called me back a few hours after dealing with it all to make sure I was ok. I mean, really? It's so nice for someone who does this all this time (her) to acknowledge that it's stressful for someone who doesn't sell properties all the time (me!). Buying and selling property is one of the most stressful things a person can do, so you better choose wisely when entrusting someone to be at the helm of a huge life event like that.
