BE VERY CAREFUL. I place a quote for color powder coating for my brake calipers. Was quoted $360.00. I know nothing about powder coating and thought it was a fair price. WRONG. Get it straight they DO NOT POWDER COAT your brake calipers even though it is a powder coating place. They just spray paint them while on your car. Trust me when I say if I knew that I would not be powder coated and just sprayed on I would not have done it. I would have done it myself. I did not even get to pick the color! I told him dark blue and he just did whatever dark blue spray can he had. I questioned Uriel about the powder coating v Spray paint, and he blamed it on me like it was my fault for misunderstanding his quote and for even thinking it would be powder coated. On top of that he left a huge dent in my car and denied he did it. My car was pristine when I brought it in. I wash the car by hand every week. I know that the dent was never there. I only found out about the shoddy work only after my brake guy laughed at the work. Find another place to get your brake caliper colored. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I hate doing this to any business, but it is the fact. Update to owner's comments: Sir. It is not about the PRICE. I would pay 2000 dollars if that is what the market rate is. It is about you did not disclose that you are NOT Powder Coating! You are a POWDER COATING COMPANY. You assume that people know that you just spray painting the calipers. I went to drop off my car here around a month ago to get my wheels powder coated. I thought they probably do cars like the one I have all the time (which is a m4, not saying it's a 100k car but still worth a little more than average). Line behold I go to take my wheels off for a break job and the lug nuts are all over torqued. I ended up breaking a half inch breaker and couldn't even get a 3/4 breaker to do the job. They cross threaded one of my hub studs and I texted them and never replied. Would not recommend their service. read more

I dropped off my car at 8 am I was told it would be ready by 4-6 pm. I called back and was told it would actually be at 7:30. They didn't give any heads up. The guy over the phone had an additive and told me the guy who told me the original times had to go home. This was the second car I've brought to them for my brake calipers and it will be the last. I had GOOGLE Searched Proper Motion and they got back to me Saturday morning detailing fair prices so I made a Reservation for Tuesday. I contact them on Monday to make sure my Appt. is good and they say "When can you bring it" What?? My appt. is for Tuesday and they forgot already?? Then they say cant do Tuesday and say "Can we do Thursday? (I'm Installing a new Spray Booth on Tuesday and Wednesday)". If that's the case then why did you book me for Tuesday? I contact them on Wednesday at 3:43pm to make sure and they don't get back to me until 7:44PM saying "Can we re-schedule for Friday, spray booth isn't ready yet" Geez, so I say OK then I check in on Thursday afternoon at 3:32pm about Friday and Uriel says "we have you scheduled for tomorrow but unfortunately we have to reschedule for next week, Monday-Friday." That's it I said as three times I was pushed out. If they knew they were to add a New Spray Booth that week why did they take in Customers. I have found another Shop and am happy they are taking Care of me. This place has a real problem with Customer Service. read more

Requested to have 4 small aluminum rods powder coated in a standard textured black. Was told it's an easy job and would be no problem if I dropped off early in the morning. Looks like they do good work, unfortunately the 1 day turnaround didn't happen for me and there was a lapse in communication. Definitely made the day difficult in having to go into work late and leave early to drop off parts only to discover the job could not even be done until the next day and wasn't notified until the evening when already en route. Apparently they did not have the standard texture black in stock. This should have been checked in the morning over the phone or while I was there dropping off. If I was notified in the morning I would've been totally fine with whatever black they had in stock just to get it done. Nice guy but unfortunate fallout in communication causing me to lose my time and spend money on gas. Driving back and forth. read more

Well the work was ok they forgot to take the plugs out of the rims I had to take out my self and than I asked for my center caps and they asked was there 3 or 4 I was like 4 with that being said they brought them to me and they were not even done than I ask them to finish the job they told me they will be ready in a few days so than I came back and asked for the caps and nothing when I text them are they ready they told me yes they are ready and still did nothing and instead of taking care of them or me they did nothing but try to argue so the morel of the story is they don't back up what they say and are very dishonest people and know nothing bout taking care of there customers so ur better to of going some where else even if it is a bit more money at least u will get taken care of the way it should be I have a business and I will go the extra mile for my customers but seems others don't know or never learned how to do that read more

I am beyond elated. My rims look siiiick!!! I was super nervous because i found them online... Uriel walked me through the shop.. Showed me their equipment and process. Answered all of my million questions... They weren't the cheapest quote i got but they were the only facility that allowed me to leave my vehicle. Most places wanted me to remove the tires myself... Remove the tire from the rim. And then i would need to rebalance. So considering i would need about 120 for a jack and 4 stands. And then pay a tire shop 60 or so to remove and rebalance... I take my car back a week later and they fix the dents fix the color but now I have all these little imperfections on my rims and still didn't replace my center cap. Needless to say it ended in a big fight and I ended up having to go to the dealership to fix what they couldn't. They are very unprofessional and have no customer service skills and should be out of business with those kinds of attitudes towards there customers. Took some 28 inch rims here for repair first rim excellent turn around time so I decided to take another wait time was a little longer but that was fine. I took my last two in for repairs and ordered for new lug pattern on 2 rims one wrong rim was drilled in matching the existing pattern not a big deal but the charged me $50 for there mistake, fine no problem. My problem with them was the lack of communication that began to play out. In the beginning I was speaking to the owner without knowing he's the owner but everything was going smooth all of a sudden he stop answering my calls and when I go to show up they said they know nothing about the rims and I need wait for him to come but only would be able to catch him early in the am. After a very long wait I came back into contact with the owner and when I picked my rims up i was missing 2 tires. Besides the 2 tires I had a very hard tire finding the center caps to my rims and once they were ordered and arrived they were taking to the shop on my rims but when I received my rims back I was now missing 3 center caps. I called repeatedly to be told they don't know where they are. Tried calling few weeks to a month later nothing. i read most people get their rims back same day wish I had that nice experience but instead after driving many miles I'm left having to spend more money on items I just purchased. On a positive note yes they fixed my wheels I'm just upset How long it took my to find those center caps just for them to be lost in a shop. read more
