I've stopped by late at night, exhausted and dealing with symptoms from a chronic illness, just to buy ice (paying for ice is really something, isn't it?) because I'm anemic. I've even been barked at to "hurry up" because they needed to randomly lock down the store. (Don't say you're open 24/7 then) If you've ever dealt with anemia and PICA, you know the craving for ice is visceral, it's not just a habit, it's physically consuming. It takes me less than five minutes to get in and out, and that's being generous. But half the time they just lock their doors at random, so I end up wasting gas driving there only to find I can't get air for my tires, cant pay for gas with cash, and can't pay for ice (paying for ice is such a silly thing to say), because they're simply not open despite claiming to be. I won't blame this one business alone for the capitalistic dehumanizing greed that turns basic human needs like water into something you have to pay for, but it's still disgusting how normalized that behavior has become. Update your hours.

This time, I took a tank in knowing it was almost empty; I used a Guage to verify. I watched as the girl fill the tank and watched the Guage. She slowed the flow of gas to the tank and stopped barely after 3 gallons flowed versus 4 or more; the tank was practically empty. I questioned her and she said she filled it...then pretended she no longer speaks good English. The fee is fixed up to 5 gallons , so you pay a flat fee of around $16 regardless of how empty the tank. Whatever! I took the tank home and put my Guage on it and it was not full. The raleys gas is only the same price as Mobil if you buy a $10 car wash, and you gotta be stupid to buy those gas station car washes cuz they do a Terrible job.
