The views are amazing so if that's what you are going for, great! The service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The food is where the restaurant lacks. We ordered a salad and it was dry and the chicken was overcooked. The server was nice enough to split it for us so we could share, but it was very dry. Did I mention it was dry? It would've been nice to have more, or any, dressing to help it go down. Now on to dessert. The reason we came was for the saguaro cactus dessert. It's a very cute presentation, but the flavors just aren't that special. Don't make the trip for the dessert.

We came for happy hour drinks and some food before our departing flight. The food was all raved about by our other guests that had all been here before. They raved about the appetizers and burgers. I had the burger which was possibly one of the best burgers I have ever had - juicy, well seasoned, perfectly toasted bread, good sauces that didnt overwhelm. The staff was great. Our party knew the head chef and he was so friendly and kind when he came to visit our table. The waiter also helped us pick a lovely dessert for my husband's birthday - it was a chocolate mousse dessert shaped as a cactus desert landscape with all elements edible. Absolute perfection! And all flavored like smore's. The restaurant is large but cozy and the perfect casual dining spot located on the property. Would definitely return for the food and friendly staff!

Here's the ugly truth: the food was excellent -- my avocado toast was flawless -- but excellence stops mattering when the service makes you feel like a trespasser in the hotel you're actually paying to stay in. We walked in casually dressed (because, hello, it's breakfast, not a gala), and before we could sit down, we were asked to prove we belonged by showing our room keys. That's not hospitality, that's humiliation. And then, with a dining room barely 10-15% full at 11:00 a.m. on a Sunday, we weren't seated in the elegant space that sells the Four Seasons dream -- we were dumped in the service area like second-class citizens. This isn't "luxury." This is a bait-and-switch where your money is good enough, but you aren't. On the very Sunday of Charlie Kirk's funeral, a day already carrying grief, we were treated with suspicion and disregard. Four Seasons likes to brand itself as a sanctuary of dignity, but dignity doesn't come with a side of shame. Asking paying guests to prove they belong is the opposite of luxury -- it's profiling with table service. A restaurant at 15% capacity doesn't seat you in Siberia unless they want you to feel small. If this is hospitality, then I'm the Queen of Egypt. You don't pay Four Seasons prices to be treated like you're crashing breakfast at a Holiday Inn. Food won't save an experience when respect is stripped at the door. We belong here, we paid to be here, and this hotel forgot that. Two Stars (and only because the avocado toast had more class than the service).

This was my first experience at Proof- we came for a little lunch with the kiddos. I'm a nanny and I accompanied the family I work with. It was a pleasant experience for the most part- the ambiance is lovely and it's beautifully decorated. The restaurant was very rustic in theme and we were seated on the patio to admire the views! Our littles enjoyed the appetizers of guacamole & chips... We had salads and soups- they were freshly prepared and quite good. The soup I had- pumpkin squash was a disappointment...not much flavor. Our service was attentive and very friendly. I just figured for a Four Seasons- I would have been more impressed. It was marginal for the price- I'm willing to try it again- because it was lovely!

The food was delicious, and the ambiance was beautiful and peaceful. Customer service was okay, though a bit slow.

mid vegan burger. Does do well in a pinch when you've been in Texas for the past five days and the term "meat substitute" doesn't exist. Had breakfast here the next day. Cold brew coffee was absolutely delicious. Again the food was good but could've been better.

The best half chicken I've ever had. The carrot purée was perfection and the chile sauce topped it off. I would come back just for this dish.

Very much enjoyed our evening at Proof: lovely space, both inside and out, with terrific views, and solid, friendly service. Highly recommend starting as our table of 3 did, with: - Proof Knots (house made pretzel, spicy cheese sauce)--that sauce is addictive! - Chips Guacamole & Salsa (blue corn tortilla chips, charred molcajete salsa, jalapeno & cilantro guacamole)--salsa was smoky and spicy and the guac was creamy and delicious! - Queso Fundido (oaxaca cheese, pepperjack, cotija cheese, apple jalapeno jam, blue corn tortilla chips)--what's better than melty cheese? - Nico's Tuna Tostada (mango leche de tigre, tuna, sesame togarashi vinaigrette, quinoa pop, fresno peppers, baby tomato)--fresh and oh-so-flavorful...could have had a few more plates of this! We then shared the Smoker Trio (smoked pulled pork, sherry maple glazed pork belly, apple gouda sausage), which was good, but didn't have the pizzazz of the starters. If I'd known about the desserts on offer, I would've saved more room--specifically the s'mores sundae with marshmallow ice cream...if only I didn't live so far away!

VEGAN REVIEW Had breakfast, lunch & dinner here during my 3 night stay. A few options each meal. Breakfast: Avocado toast was good but small (compared to my omni dining companion's meal) & oatmeal was fine, nothing special. Tasty espresso drinks with multiple non dairy milk options Lunch: Grains & greens goddess was a solid option. Chopped salad (omit cheese)... tasty but not chopped Dinner: Taco Tuesday the chef made adjustments to the veggie tacos so they would be vegan. Side of rice & beans were yum. Really good guac & housemade chips Great cocktails. Attentive service. Great ambiance. Misters outside kept us comfy even in 100°+ Go for sunset!

Proof has to be one of my favorite places in the valley! It's upscale because, well, it's in The Four Seasons resort in North Scottsdale Troon. However, Proof still feels like it's a casual place and I have worn jeans and even flip flops to dinner here! I love the shuffleboard in the dining room! The patio has a perfect view and walking up you can smell the smoker cooking up something amazing. There are always specials that change often! We usually start with a drink on the patio at Onyx, where the service is a bit slow, BUT Proof is always spot on! Jackie makes THE best French 75 , that I have affectionately named , 'Jackie's 75' because it's pretty & lavender and perfect.. and I can only have one! Kate, the manager, is always so sweet and makes sure that everyone is happy! We have always had great service from Aaron; Kaylin; Alexa; Autumn; .. the food is amazing, this last time I had the Surf & Turf special which was a Flat Iron Steak and Poached Prawn. I was on the fence because I wanted a steak and I was afraid this being a thinner cut it would be tough. It was not. It came atop these rich potatoes and was melt in your mouth tender. I also love the salmon that seems to come around in the fall. I'm waiting ! The desserts are amazing and the wine list .. well I'm obsessed because I'm a somm and I get obsessed with great wine lists in great places ! I love that we are so close to such a great place ! We have never had a bad meal nor a bad experience here !

Hi... do they have breakfast buffet on Saturdays?

Yes! The breakfast buffet is available Saturday and Sunday 7 - 11:30 am. And it's fantastic!

    Are they pet friendly?

I don't believe they are. Just allow service dogs.

Do they have a brunch buffet on Sundays?

They do have a brunch on Sunday's, both a buffet and menu to order off of. They do walk in basis and you seem to get faster service and questions answered if you call their direct number rather than calling the main desk st the Four Seasons.

We usually dine inside the main restaurant, which is great too, but this spot is right off the course with tons of tables and TVs everywhere, perfect for sports, snacks, and emotional support during extra innings. The staff managed to seat all eight of us, which already felt like a small miracle. We started ordering drinks and appetizers, and I was starving. Like, the kind of starving where my daughter and I both turn into tiny gremlins who should not be approached without caution. If you've ever been within six feet of me when I'm hangry, you know your best move is to evacuate the area immediately. So I asked for bread before the dark side fully took over. They brought rolls that were... interesting. Sweet? Savory? Peppery? Honestly, I still don't know what was happening on top of them, but I ate them anyway because survival mode was fully activated. For entrées, I ordered the chicken pot pie and my daughter got the chicken piccata. I'm still undecided whether my pot pie was genuinely amazing or if I was just ravenous, but I demolished the entire thing. and the size of that dish is not for the feint of heart. My daughter also wiped out her piccata, and she's three, so that's basically a Michelin endorsement. All in all, the food was delicious, the vibes were fun, and we had a great time, even if the World Series outcome has me emotionally damaged. 4 stars and we'll definitely be back!

Chicken picccata did not disappoint and could match any 5 star Italian restaurant. Perfect amount of capers with the tangy lemon sauce. The green beans and asparagus were grilled to perfection. The name really fits because there are several different seating areas, including cozy groupings with soft couches and chairs, traditional dining tables, bar seating and an outdoor patio. There is also a separate larger room that looked great for groups. It's nice enough for a fun night out or date night, but the overall feel is relaxed and casual, so you definitely don't need to dress up. We went for a girls' Happy Hour, specifically because the Wine Wall sounded like so much fun, but one of the things I really liked about The Living Room is that you absolutely don't have to be a wine drinker to enjoy it. They also have a reasonable, well rounded menu and signature drinks. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3-6 PM. The menu offers $2 off wines by the glass, draft beers, signature and well cocktails, as well as the bruschetta and flatbreads. So one person could come for wine and bruschetta, and someone else could enjoy a beer with flatbread, or have something from the regular menu. There are salads, soups, sandwiches, sushi rolls, food from the grillI, and starters. We first shared the Artichoke Spinach Dip. I feel like the dip is a portion for one, as you can see in my photo; it's in a small ramekin, but the chips are fantastic and sharable. I had the "fried rice with steak, chicken and shrimp topped with a fried egg." The "steak" was tiny little pieces, not slices, but the portion of fried rice was very generous and filling. It's a "Starter" that was a "meal" for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the food prices are. Now for the Wine Wall, because this is such a fun part of the experience! You're given a Tasting Card that works somewhat like a debit card for the Wine Wall. You tap the card at the WineStation, choose the wine you want and then select a 1 oz, 3 oz or 6 oz pour. Each wine and pour size has its own price, and every selection is added to your Tasting Card. At the end, the accumulated amount is transferred to your restaurant check as one "Wine Wall" charge. Our server was wonderful about showing us how everything worked. He walked us over to the Wine Wall, explained the system and dispensed our first glasses for us. Later, when he asked if we wanted more, my friend ordered another 3 oz Silver Oak and he brought it right to our table, so we didn't even have to get up again. If the Wine Wall is one of the main reasons for your visit, there are couches and tables right by it. You might want to choose that area if you plan on trying 1 oz. tastes of several wines. We enjoyed two excellent Cabernets from the Wine Wall: Caymus and Silver Oak. I had a 3 oz Caymus, a 3 oz Silver Oak, and my friend had a 6 oz Caymus and 3 oz Silver Oak. Our total Wine Wall charge was $83. We're already looking forward to returning for what will feel like a different experience by having white wine and sushi outdoors on a cool evening. I could definitely see The Living Room becoming an easy choice for a casual Happy Hour or dinner with friends.

This was years ago, before the speakeasy existed. I remember we were greeted at the table with glasses of champagne. Service was impeccable, food was delicious. We had one of the best desserts of our lives. 10/10 first impression. We went back maybe a year later after the speakeasy was built in, and it seemed like all their attention went to that instead. They were out of a bunch of dishes on the menu. I remember we all got our food except for my husband and we finally had to ask the server what was going on with his dish and that's when they told us they were out of that dish he had ordered too. They offered to make something else on the house, but at this point we were all almost done with our food so he ended up with nothing. They did try to make it right, I'll give them that, but it was a weird experience. We decided to give the restaurant one last try for my mom's birthday over the weekend and it solidified our opinions on this place. First of all, it's EXPENSIVE. I get it's Scottsdale but they are trying way too hard with $80 ribeyes and $1500 bottles of wine, but not giving you anything for it. Don't get me wrong, I'll enjoy an expensive meal when I feel it's warranted. The food, service, details need to go above and beyond to justify my $500+ tab. That's just not the case here. The server didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Didn't even offer a birthday dessert? We ordered salads before our meals and our entrees showed up two minutes later. My sister had her leftover pasta boxed up and they never brought it back. She asked about it and they said they could fire her a new one, but we were ready to go at this point. These are not issues you should be having at an upscale restaurant at this price point. After all this, we won't be returning. There are much better restaurants at lesser price points that offer amazing food with above and beyond experience. Everyone try Restaurant Progress instead!
