I went through my home warranty (AHS) due to a high water bill and needing to determine if my home had a leak. The first company that they assigned to me had horrible reviews, after I requested another company they assigned Pronto Plumbing. I want to start off by saying that I did read the reviews and I was hesitant but I didn't have much choice. Pronto plumbing assigned Joe to me as the technician. When Joe arrived I told him my issue (extremely high water bills, no evidence of leaks in the home) and Joe conducted a detailed assessment of my bathrooms, kitchen, water heater etc. He agreed that there were no visible leaks and the next steps in regards to having a leak detection completed. He explained that my home warranty usually covers the cost of leak detection but not the foundation repairs etc. He advised me to talk to the County/Water department first to have them do another meter test before I move forward with any other plumbing. All in all, Joe was detailed, transparent and I felt that he was honest. Although I still have more steps to complete before I decide on a plumbing company, if Pronto Plumbing could guarantee that Joe would be the plumber I would use them again. read more

Same concerns as many others have already noted. They were an AHS warranty dispatch who claimed one part was defective and it caused damage to other parts that then were not covered by Warranty. They also demanded a significant additional charge to replace the part (which was not defective) above and beyond what the warranty company would pay. My own plumber was then contacted and they verified the part was actually operating properly and did not require replacement and also verified that if it was necessary to replace it was a very simple replacement and the "modification" fee was excessive as they would not require such additional charges for a simple replacement. Hard to believe that AHS continues to use such a company as their own reputation is taking a significant hit by continue to use this company. read more

I would not recommend this company. They were sent by AHS to repair a leak. They came out the first time and said they had to send someone else out to locate the leak. They came back and said the leak was in my bathroom and they busted up my floor. Only to find out that the leak was not in my bathroom, but in my hallway. So they busted up my hallway floor. Not only did I have to pay $4300 out of pocket, but I also had to pay $2300 to replace my floors. I also had to get another company to reinstall my toilet and vanity as they would not do it unless I pay another fee even though they removed it. The dispatcher is awful and rude. They offered no compensation for incorrectly busting up my bathroom floor, plus they left red dirt all on my walls. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

Via my Home Warranty company, so I had no choice in the process. Kitchen faucet leak. I had already diagnosed it before the tech's arrival. My warranty company is NOTORIOUS for denying faucet leaks, through my experience with my other home (they claim faucets have a lifetime warranty and since it's 20 years old, I don't have the receipt and can't see the name on the faucet, to dispute them). Called warranty company for service on Saturday. Pronto called me that day. I was excited. First available appt was Tuesday afternoon. I had no choice. Tech showed on time. Told him I only wanted the sprayer hose changed. Her left, went to Home Depot, got a "universal" hose that wouldn't fit. Had to order one. Eight days later I got a message saying that the hose they ordered was wrong and that they were expediting another. Seven days later they contacted me again, but couldn't get another tech out for ANOTHER FOUR DAYS. Listen, if you have a choice, choose another plumbing company. read more

Brought him back to do specific work for us outside of the warranty because we appreciated his knowledge and workmanship. This is one of the worst plumbing companies. All they do is money making. I got 2 issues one afte the other and had AHS. 1. Ejector pump failed and all what was needed was straight replacement , but pronto made up that it requires pipiing changes and I should pay an extra $600. I got it done externally without any piping change at half the cost. 2. Hot/Cold faucet started leaking. Again the same person from Pronto came and all it needed was straight faucet replacement , but pronto made up it requires piping changes and I should pay an extra $575. Pronto Plumbing deserves zero stars if that were an option. My ordeal started on December 7th, 2024, when I called to fix a leaking shower. They scheduled a visit on December 12th, only to cancel because their tech had the flu. We rescheduled for December 15th, when the tech showed up, said they needed to order a part, and scheduled another visit for December 29th. On December 29th, the tech couldn't fix the shower and pushed the appointment to January 7th, 2025. I took time off work only to have the tech no-show with no notice. We rescheduled again, aiming for January 22nd, but a snowstorm caused another delay, pushing it to January 25th. Today, on January 25th, I canceled my trip to Florida to accommodate the 3 PM to 5 PM window--a no-show and no call again. Multiple calls went straight to voicemail. Now I must wait until January 27th to reschedule once more. This whole process has been a series of cancellations, no-shows, and taking unnecessary time off work. My only reason for using Pronto Plumbing was that my Home Warranty Company endorsed them. Even if they miraculously fix it, I will NEVER use them again! The value of saving money by using the home warranty was wasted as they cost me time away from work and loved ones. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

I would not recommend this company. They were sent by AHS to repair a leak with my hot/cold faucet. They came out and said faucet must be replaced which we knew as we had gotten opinions from other and will order a part. They put in a 550 dollar bill in for pipe replacement which we needed to pay out of pocket, we refused their service. To top it up, the person who came in to review the issue forgot to turn off the water supply to avoid the leak and we didn't realize that, we were not home and our kitchen wood floor was flooded with water. We are trying to figure out if they will fix the damage they caused. Never again will i want Pronto plumbing in my house if they dont sort this mess. They had come in before thru AHS for another item too and as they quoted high we had to go with cashout option and get it taken care off ourselves at a fraction of cost. We will have to ask AHS to never assign this company for any of our plumbing needs.. I would give them a -ve rating it there was an option, we have used so many other services from AHS for fridge, microwave, garbage disposal, toilet leak issues, pool repair never had such an experience with any vendor except them. read more

Do NOT use Pronto Plumbing out of Norcross Georgia!! Unprofessional They can't be trusted, They were dispatched through American Home Shield. As anyone knows the insurance company is only going to pay so much. They were called out for three different plumbing issues Hot water heater that was under manufacturer's warranty, a leak coming from dryer vent and a bathtub faucet. They estimate given was $1385.00 They added an emergency shut off box was needed I had two other plumbing estimates this was never needed so I questioned Pronto Plumbing about it They front office staff removed the charged I had to pay half upfront and the remainder when completed. Thy send the tech back out on 8\15\2025 he hooks up the hose to drain and states hey I don't see the emergency shut off box on here I let him know per two other plumbing estimates and Douglas County, Greystone Power, water company and local fire department this was not a requirement. He got pissed off called someone at the office said he could not do it because it was code I politely asked whose code he said plumber's code. I asked if he could so it to my husband and I He left without fixing any of the 3 items listed on the work order! I called pronto back and let them know of the unprofessional behavior! and American Home Shield! Amy (Pronto Plumbing) front office Manager said Chris the technician should of said they don't go by county it's the state code. I called an electrician he came out and said the state code is for New structure's everything that was in my home was fine. I knew that when American Home Shield sent out the same plumber's they would say the same thing and American Home Shield said they would have to finish the work Now Amy tells me that before they can send the plumber back out the technician has to review the electrical box that was put in even though I offered to send pictures. Amy said the technician from Pronto Plumbing would have to review the box that the electrician put in I asked her to schedule the repair work as my garage has now had water in it since the initial call to AHS July 31st with several escalation calls Amy said she couldn't do that! Yesterday the technician comes out takes a few pictures with IPad and let me know he didn't understand why she just didn't have me send the pictures he had one job to do in Acwoth and wasnt sure if he was going to be dispatched to come back I called Amy she then states she didn't have anyone and would have to schedule me for the following week! We had a few leaks in the plumbing of our house that we purchased 2 years before, and our warranty company sent Pronto Plumbing. They determined we needed a full repipe - and we would have to pay completely out of pocket. After the job was finally completed, we were thankful just to be in our home again (we have 6 children and had to rent a home while we waited for the job to be scheduled and completed). After a few months, we realized a toilet was pulling water from the hot water line instead of cold. The sink was hooked up backward, and one of our hose bib lines was never replaced (I found a full line of copper still there, and it was no longer hooked up to water). We emailed them and received no response. We spoke to someone on the phone, they did not have a response. We emailed again. Then we waited. We had to care for a family member who then was in critical condition, so we did not follow them up. Still no response. Since November of 2022, I have periodically emailed them, called their office, and even spoke to 2 employees who came to look at another issue with a shower about having someone come repair the work they did because my toilet tank is now molding because they hooked it up wrong. They told me the last 2 times I spoke on the phone that it had been more than 1 year so it would be a new job, but they would speak to their manager. It's been more than a year because they did not respond and repair the job when I first requested support within the first 6 months of the repair. They still have not repaired the issue, and I should not need to pay them to fix something that obviously is a quality issue wtih their work and not user error (I obviously did not switch the pipes to my toilet from cold to hot). Also, they charged me in full before starting the job, then we called them and had to deal with several phone calls to try to reverse it and charge us only 50% upfront as originally stated. They explained it was too much of a hassle, so we just let it be since they finally scheduled the job to be completed and we were just desperate to get water and stop paying for a rental home while we waited. read more

Sent by AHS to fix a leaking faucet on my tub. They ended up having to come back since initial leak was NOT fixed. When returning the plumber filled the tub so high that it caused water to leak through to my dining room. All due to him not doing his job right the first time!!! It was pouring on to my dining room floor!! My entire dining room ceiling is stained!!! My light will not turn on and they cut a huge hole as well!! Now they are denying they caused this damage!!! Stay FAR from these people. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. They were dispatched through American Home Shield to repair a broken water meter in my home. Not only were they RUDE they also tried to steal from me by claiming to have installed a part I paid over $400 for and waited 3 weeks to arrive. They came out, took the wall apart only for the tenant to catch that nothing in fact had been replaced. I called the office to speak with the office staff who was EXTREMELY RUDE! I explained that I'd like a refund on the money I spent on a part I ordered but they still had and this woman talked over me, got loud and told me she didn't have time for my issue and hung up in my face. I called back the next day to get another person who wanted to give me a partial refund of $80 (I spent over $400 on the part) and I wasn't going to accept that. Asked to speak to the manager (which was the same woman who hung up on me the previous day). She gets on the phone going on and on about how I was ruining her day and again she didn't have time and hung up on me. After seeing I didn't get anywhere with her, I called my bank and America Home Shield to dispute the charges and report them. Please, save your time and money and go find another company. read more

The only thing Pronto about this company is them coming to your home to do a botch repair and then leave. The water stop flowing in our faucet back in November. This company was assigned by our home warranty. Tech came out, did a temporary fix and now 2 months later, the issue started again Another company will be replacing our faucet and now we are inconvenienced until the new faucet comes in when PRONTO should have replaced initially I knew it was a temporary fix and the plumber did as well. If I could give them a zero I would! Do not use this company. I went through my home warranty to have a plumber come out for multiple clogged drains. He spent 10 minutes here flushed the toilet and looked at my plumbing and said it all had to be replaced. Quoted me approximately $5000. on the second request he would not even come out, said he could not snake the drains because it was a liability. Had a leak from a toilet. It took about 2 trips to problem-solve and fix correxlctly, but the turnaround time between visits was good. On the 2nd trip, my plumber was Darin. When I first saw him I thought he looked familiar and it took me a minute before I realized this man has worked on my home before and everytime he has come out he has been phenomenal. This man's work ethic is GOLD STANDARD through and through. He has always taken care of the problem effectively and efficiently no matter what company he has worked for. My house's water pressure was getting higher and higher, so I adjusted the PRV to bring it down, but it would go back up within hours. I called my home warranty (HSA) they sent out Pronto, the tech conveniently wrote it up that excessive water pressure caused the TMP valve to leak ( Oh the one thing my Home warranty does not cover, Excessive water pressure) those exact words. So I'm no expert but the PRV was not regulating the pressure so the TMP is trying to relieve that pressure by opening up, that's why the water was coming out of the drain pipe, not leaking. The only thing that needed fixing was a leak between the shut-off valve and PRV which also needed replacing. But Pronto conveniently had a $3400 quota ready, since HSA didn't cover the repairs. This company is a scam, do not ever let them near your house. read more
