She was incredibly warm, fun, and easy to talk to, and somehow understood our vision with very little direction. We were going for a boho chic vibe, and she absolutely nailed it. Lisa was also refreshingly flexible and honest. She worked within our budget without ever upselling or pressuring us, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout--she was responsive, easy to reach by text or phone, and just genuinely great to work with. One detail that meant a lot to us: my husband was able to drop off specific glass vases we wanted her to incorporate, and she seamlessly worked them into the design. When we saw the florals on the wedding day, they completely exceeded our expectations. My bouquet was vibrant and stunning--it truly made the photos. The tables were beautifully arranged, and everything came together perfectly. We received so many compliments from our guests about how gorgeous the flowers were. We reached out to Katlin October 2021 after seeing her on the list from South Coast as a preferred…read morevendor and out of all the vendors we had talked to, she came off as the one we vibed with the most! We ended up booking with her in January 2022 with the base package but we ended up upgrading to a higher package shortly after since we were located in NorCal and needed a bit more help. The higher package gave us access to aisle planner which was absolutely necessary for us as it gave us a timeline and checklist of things we needed to complete. Without it, I bet we would have procrastinated until this May or missed out on a lot of small details. Throughout this year and a half with her, she's been super responsive to all our email/texts and was really helpful with giving vendor recommendations and advice. She even showed up to our menu tasting at South Coast last December on short notice so we were able to meet her in person and go over the spacing/vendor placement on our venue! Closer to our wedding day, we nailed down the schedule of events and went over our vendor list. During the rehearsal, our friends were all a little nervous but she's pretty hilarious so that calmed our nerves and we were all really excited for the next day by the end of it! Everything went so smoothly on the day of the wedding! She dropped by when we were getting ready to say hi and then darted off to start setting up. We didn't get to see her much because she's constantly flitting around arranging all the vendors, setting all the details up, and making sure we were running on time. We truly appreciate how hard Katlin and her assistant worked so that we could enjoy our day without worrying about vendors and decorations! I think one thing to remember is, even though you have this list from her, most of the items are on you to handle as the list is just a guideline. You're responsible for getting your dress done on time, the little decorations if you want those, the extra vendors if you want them as well. She's great to lean on for advice and to be a sounding board but you are still responsible for moving the needle. I highly recommend working with Katlin for your wedding day! When I said to her this is how we saw what took place and at the end of the day, it was one of our biggest days and how we felt should matter most and others should be allowed to have that knowledge and make the decision of whether or not she's a good fit for them, instead of taking the feedback and recognizing there are areas for her to improve on (as is clear from previous reviews with similar sentiments), she sent a long email back refuting our feelings on the matter and refusing to send anything more than a pdf list of the guest names who attended. Truly hope Michelle can learn from the experience in the future and remember that the industry she's in has a big impact on someone's big day.
