This testing center has perfected Covid check-in procedures. Initially, I was very anxious about having to come here because I haven't spent many hours outside of my home due to quarantine. Further, I was also stressed about taking the test. After watching the others check-in for the test from a socially distanced line, I was assured that every precaution would be followed. Upon checking in, I was asked to provide identification, sign an agreement, had my glasses examined, placed all of my personal affects in a locker, and given a locker key and pen. Although I brought a copy of my test confirmation that was not needed. Before entering the testing area, I was asked to empty my pockets, pull up my pants legs, and take an electronic photo. I signed another agreement and then entered the testing area in a room with other testers. Everyone was socially distanced and separated by desk carrels. The testing area was heavily monitored and each tester was provided with a noise cancelling headset and headphones. My only complaint was that the restroom was really outdated. One stall was inoperable and the only working stall had little to no room to maneuver. read more

I have taken a total of 7 praxis test over the last 2 years (5 of them being within the last month) at this location. Every time the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They truly helped calm my nerves and made my testing experience enjoyable. Super nice people! read more

To become a teacher in the state of Kentucky, you have to take several Praxis exams. For some reason, you have to go to a testing site like this one. A place just for tests. Heh. I never knew these existed until last year. I've been here a couple times to take different set of tests. Prometric is a small facility tucked in the back of a strip mall area -- easy to miss if you don't know where it is. I drove around the lot several times before I found it. The parking from the hotel nearby is sometimes a mess. Anyway -- you walk in, sign your name, sign a form, leave your stuff in a locker, get your picture taken or something (to discredit fraud), fingerprint, show ID, the whole nine yards, and then you are ushered into a room with about a dozen computers for different test-takers. And you take your test. Then you can leave when you're done (with an occasional break for water or bathroom). That's it. It's an OK building. They have what you need. All you do is take tests, anyway. If you're reading this review, I assume you're coming here to take a test. If that's so, good luck! read more

I've taken several tests for mortgage licensing here. It's a small facility and could use a little TLC. Staff is always friendly. It's located by the Doubltree so parking might be an issue every now and then. They do have the convenience of making appointments on time and often if you are early they will get you on in to get started. read more
