Here are some insider tips: -free parking -very nice ladies staffing the place here -free mints for testtakers (yessss sugar) -clean bathrooms that don't require a key to access -you're allowed to chomp on your food in the main waiting area (a lots of sites ask you to move into the hallway) -testing room is FREEZING -seats near the door are quite loud and distracting- there is NO white noise -seemingly new-ish computers Overall, a decent site for test taking in the Syracuse area. Posting this in case anyone plans on taking a test here: This test center is located inside the Pioneer Business park in East Syracuse, NY. The test center is located in 1st floor of the building at the very end of the office park - the location is a bit confusing at first, so you may want to drive here beforehand to get a better idea of the location. The actual office park is very peaceful and quiet, and has plenty of parking. Overall, I had a great experience at this testing center. The test center was very clean and welcoming and I had zero distractions during my test. The staff were also extremely polite and helpful. They clearly understood that we were stressed about the exam, and tried to be as friendly and welcoming as possible during check in. Overall, this was a great testing location! Some tips: - The computer screens are a bit old so some of the images are a bit more lower in resolution/quality. - The AC can be a bit loud in the room, especially during the summer. The headphones they provide are OK, but I recommend bringing earplugs to further block out the noise. - Unfortunately, they do not have a microwave for lunch breaks during the exam. - Bathrooms are not inside the test center, but rather on the 1st and 2nd floors of the office building. - Consider bringing a sweater. The testing room can be a bit cold, especially when the AC kicks in. read more
