i ordered keto meals and i don't feel like eating them at all. Not at all tasty. Service isn't great either

So far so good. I absolutely hate cooking and grocery shopping. I'm working out which defeats the purpose because I don't eat enough. Plus I have a kid and most meal prep spots are sooo expensive and don't think about the family only the individual. I googled meal prep spots and can't across Pro meals. My daughter and I are impressed. So far I've tried the swai fish and shrimp tacos. They were so yummy! Before I placed my order I called and had a ton of questions and the customer service was great. My food was delivered the next day, late in the day but it's cool. I now know to order food for at least half the day I expect my delivery so we're not hungry. Next day local driver is up to 8pm. I highly recommend. read more

Been ordering from here weekly for the past month or so. Meals have been pretty good. I've tried other meal prep companies and the food wasn't seasoned or felt like I was "dieting" so I couldn't stick with them. However this place has been really good so far. Variety of meals to choose and the delivery is quick and convenient. read more

Their brunch is awesome,..Pizza is really good as well....Always great service. Always worth the stop

I don't like "diet food". It's always bland and either lacking in flavor or not filling enough. These guys make food that is on-par in taste with any other meal, but nutritionally superior. I walk away from the meal satisfied enough in terms of portions also. I found out about them one day, and ordered enough for about two weeks worth of food. They came and delivered locally the next day. I like eating burgers, and find the bison burger really hits the spot. I can definitely recommend. read more

Everyone knows that feeling you get when you're kind of skeptical about trying something new because you either don't know if you're going to like it but you hope to obviously love it! Let me start off by saying that I was recommended from one of my friends who uses this company for her meal preps. We both work over 12 hr shifts and we both are extremely exhausted when we get off work so it's extremely tiresome to cook. I would see her bring meals and it would look appetizing and she had nothing but great things to say about it so I gave it a shot. I ordered 10 meals, I apologize I did not take any photos of the 10 meals I previously ordered but I ordered 1 (Chicken Pesto - 4oz), 1 (Chicken Teriyaki - 4oz), 3 (EggWhite Casserole - 4oz), 1 (Garlic Parmesan Fillet - 4oz), 1 (Lean Ground Turkey - 4oz), 1 (Lean Turkey Meatballs - 4oz), 1 (Salmon - 4oz), 3 (Salmon 4oz, White Rice 1/2 Cup, Zucchini 1.5 cups.), 1 (Taco Salad - 4oz), 1 (The Hearty Breakfast - 4oz). The total for 10 meals I ordered was $126. The amount wasn't bad for what I ordered, I guess. I customized my Salmon 4oz, white rice and zucchini. The other options were "Signature meals". I was disappointed in PROMEALS because half of my meals ended up going bad before the 5 day limit and they started to smell. Especially the salmon, white rice with zucchini. It smelt sour and it had a funky smell to it. My garlic Parmesan filet with asparagus looked like it was starting to go bad as well and the asparagus looked old.. like it was starting to brown up and it even smelt like it was going bad. I'm not sure if they sent me an old batch of the signature meals or what, but half of the batch sent looked like it had been sitting in the fridge for days and they just wanted to get rid of it so they sent it to me. My thoughts on the meals. -Chicken Pesto 1/5 -Chicken Teriyaki 4/5 -Egg white casserole 5/5 but one went bad (2/3) -Garlic Parmesan Fillet 2/5 -Lean Ground Turkey- 0/5 (went bad) -Salmon, white rice and zucchini 0/5 (went bad) -Taco Salad 5/5 -Hearty Breakfast 3/5 All in all, I expected more but was let down brutally. I've eaten at meal prep stores like My Fit Foods, Snap Kitchen, and I've ordered online from Fuel Meals. The plus side in all this is the manager whose number is attached in the pictures I've posted was extremely apologetic and offered me reimbursement or he would send the meals again to me so I chose to send the meals again to give it another shot just because I understand how people make mistakes. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me right? My thoughts on the meals sent afterward. The meals smelt fresher and even the asparagus was GREENER! It looked like someone had cooked it today and shipped it out today. I'm giving this place a 3 stars just because the food I received for the reimbursement wasn't terrible but also the owner has great customer service. I would try it again, but I'm not quite sure I'd recommend this company. read more

I am a SUPER picky eater, so i never do the meal delivery places because the meals always come with things i do not like. Or the chicken/steak etc are bad quality and rubbery and just dont seem like fresh chicken breast. These meals are the best meals ive ever had. The chicken is whole chicken breast that you can just peel apart its so tender and well cooked. The chicken is probably the best grilled chicken ive ever had. I love the fact you can do custome meals, easily without hassle and can pick what you do/dont want specifically. This is perfect for picky eaters. But i promise you you wont beat the food QUALITY. I also ordered like at 1pm Monday, I got my meals Wed Morning. Its amazing. read more

I cannot remove my subscription, and the number to call is not in service. How on earth do I cancel my subscription? This is extremely shady! read more

Best meal service I've used in Houston so far. This includes taste and price. I usually order 10 meals at a time so that I get free delivery to my house. My favorite ones are the taco bowls. I definitely recommend this company! read more

This food is so darn good! I have never tasted any meal prep this freaking delicious. I don't need to cook any more! I mean it's so tasteful that I don't even believe the nutritional facts. Like how can healthy food be this delicious? The customer service is A-1! Your food is delivered the next day in a cute little isolated bag with ice packs. That you can hold onto and return if you order again (and you will). The containers are really good too, so you can reuse them. I order the signature and meals meals and recently realized that I can put together custom meals! You have to give this a try if you are looking to eat healthy but have a career or lifestyle that doesn't give you the time you need to cook. read more

I have used many prepared healthy food services. Pro meals is excellent! I love the turkey chili. It taste so good! I will definitely be a regular customer. Staff was friendly and helpful. I asked a lot of questions and they couldn't have been more patient. The price is great the meals taste so great and are fresh and filling. My food came professionally packaged in a thermal bag that I can bring to work. I seldom give 5 stars. But pro meals has figured out a way to make healthy meals taste incredible and filling. read more

I was skeptical on trying a meal delivery service. I thought that the food wouldn't be so fresh and if I ordered food for a week, surely it would be too expensive and the meals would go bad. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The veggies were fresh. I got meals with broccoli and green beans, squash. They were very fresh and not soft like I had expected! I also enjoyed the carbs I got as an option; red potatoes, sweet potatoes brown rice. I do recommend adding seasoning to these. It was also cool that you could choose the size/portions of the food groups. I feel like I know how much I'm actually eating. I only wish Promeals had vegetarian options or at least charged less if meat wasn't ordered. With that said, at 8 dollars a meal that's $80 for a week of lunches and dinners when I budget for $100 a week. That also leaves me with a bit extra for some pantry items. I don't mind providing my own protein option, but I wish I didn't pay for it with Promeals or could order a vegetarian-friendly option. The food is good and the price is nice, and maybe they will include vegetarian-friendly options in the future as they expand! read more

Good selection of food & the 10 I ordered were delicious. I had one meal that I had to freeze as it was approaching the "use by" time limit. Their Customer Service & online Chat were excellent. read more

I have been ordering these meals for about 6 or 7 weeks now and we cannot praise them enough. They are excellent and the Customer Service the company offers is just exceptional ! Ordering online is extremely hassle free, extremely affordable, online payment is simple and the deliveries are always 'spot-on' time. Any additional questions and instructions the company has responded warmly to me via Facebook basically immediately, which has been very useful not having to wait days for a response. The meals have always been extremely fresh every time and always presented really well. There is a decent variety to choose from. You get the choice of 2 decent sizes of meals which is handy as sometimes we prefer the smaller portion size for breakfasts. The website gives you a great detailed nutritional value of each meal including Protein and calorie count so you can easily select or customize the meals to meet your necessary personal requirements. Thank you ProMeals Houston - you have made life a lot easier !!! read more
