A leaking issue arose after a couple of months, not due to the gutters, but with the original drip edge. They came out and removed the new gutters and replaced the drip edge and a fascia board, and replaced the new gutters at no charge for the additional labor. Do not use this company for your gutters! We paid them over $2000.00 to repair and clean our gutters within the last 60 days. I was sleeping better at night thinking that we wouod not have water falling from the sides of our gutters and leaking into our basement. During this last heavy rain I discovered water shooting from a plugged downspout and flowing over the side of our house. I have sent pictures and left several messages on their voicemail (they never pick up) asking them to call me. I have not got a single response. I hired Craig Smith/Rock Gutters Home Services to replace my gutters and downspouts, replace the…read morefascia on the rear gable of my home and to replace and paint a 23" x 26" area of worn shake on the front of my home. I gave the 1 star bc his workers were cordial and worked hard. Craig came by at the end of the day to collect payment. We discussed that there were 3 things left to be done, secure one piece of fascia, attach one of the elbows to one of the downspouts and finish painting the replaced shake. 30 minutes worth of work at max. Craig said that they would be by in the morning to finish the job. I paid him because I could not imagine that a business person would risk their personal and business reputation over 30 minutes worth of work. After not seeing or hearing from him the next day, I texted him and he responded that they would be there the following Monday. Monday came and went. I waited until Wednesday to call. He did not answer so I left a message. No response. I called or texted for 2 weeks. He has never responded and the work is still not done. There are many reputable gutter companies out there. I would strongly recommend a different company but if you choose to use Craig Smith/Rock Gutters Home Services DO NOT issue payment until the job is complete. Check very carefully because he will not be back to finish the job if he gets his money.
