Tuesday the 18th, I emailed saying I wanted them to do the work, but I had a couple of questions. No response to this email. Wednesday the 19th I called the phone number on their website and here -- the phone number that apparently worked just fine when I was trying to get the estimate. No response. Thursday the 20th I called again. No response. I am so baffled by these companies that do not communicate with customers that want to hire them. UPDATE: He did not call me back after "checking his schedule." And why no response to my first phone call the previous day? He also seems to indicate that he received my first email, but not my second. I can post a screen shot of it, Jason, so frankly, I don't believe you. The fact is, you decided my job was too small to bother with, so you thought you would just ghost me. But then posted a response to my first review here within two hours of its appearance! We had to make them come back to finish our fence and they SPRAY PAINTED the pipe ends. It was so bad we had to go back and repaint them. We withheld $150 from the final payment because he left a pipe sticking out that we asked them to cut. We paid for a solar gate to be installed. The day they "finished" the gate, I had to climb up over the solar powered gate because they closed it and left the openers on the front porch. Darren gave no guidance or explanation as to how the gate worked. 3 weeks later I was leaving for work and the gate wouldn't work, which made me late to work. My husband called and texted him but he never answered or returned his calls. I called him from work. He told me he was not going to come look at the gate because we had withheld $150 (due to him not cutting the pipe and us having to hire someone else to come out and do it). I told him he needed to back his work and product and come look at it and he hung up on me. I texted him and he refuses to come look at the gate. It's disappointing when contractors care so little about the quality of job they do and they can't guarantee their work.

Plank wood is young, thin and prone to warping.

Foot board was split by large screw, allowing for moisture and termite damage. When they arrived they said they were giving me a discount and that they normally charged $160.00. I had to remind them that their website price for installing a metal post was $160.00, and $125.00 was their charge for replacing a wooden post. They initially said they were finished when the post was about 1.5-2 inches out of alignment and fence paneling boards were not reattached. I was told to make out their check to Willie Jackson, one of the worker's brothers. Sounded very strange to me. Used my electricity to recharge their electric tools.
