I had an issue with my lawn sprinklers at my rental house not going on. I didn't know if it was the timer, or the valves, or worst. I tried different things, but being older and physically challenged, i struggled with this. I sought help. I spoke with a couple of companies and was told August or September and was quoted what i thought were very high service call charges. I didn't feel much "warmth". Until I spoke with N at ProLawn. She was sincerely interested in my problem and put me on the schedule with a note added "should any cancelations" come up, they would call, and the service call fee wasp reasonable. The two man crew came out a few months later (July) and took care of the problem FAST. Yes, the main valve was turned off (by unknown person), and they replaced two broken sprinkler heads, and prigrammed the timer. I can't remember their names, but they are certainly an asset to the company, they moved quickly! Thank you ProLawn for an outstanding experience! I rarely write a poor review, but I was very unhappy with this company's work. First they cancelled hydroseeding 2 hours before they were scheduled to come. Then the workers show up and really didn't seem to know much, spoke no English and brought nothing to protect from spraying into the garden areas or fence. My landscaper had to step in and find a large box cardboard to prevent spraying into the garden. They left slurry on my fences and walkways. Five weeks later the grass did not grow in large areas where the hydro seed was first sprayed and yet the grass areas grew where it had been towards the end of the Surry/seed mix. I think the seed in slurry was not mixed in correctly. I don't know, but the results have been miserable. When we contacted the owner, he wouldn't listen to our complaints. He said if we provided the seed (and I had purchased expensive high quality seed), he was not responsible for any hydro seed results. read more

I called two weeks ago to get a quote on thatching and aerating my lawn. I was told somebody would call and schedule a visit; nobody called. I called back and was given a quote over the phone. I asked if that was a guaranteed quote or an estimate and was told it was an estimate. I said I needed a quote, not an estimate and was told they'd have to schedule an estimator to come out (which is what I'd wanted to start with and thought was going to happen). So, I schedule - another five-day wait - and on the day of the visit I get a call from the estimator who said he could see the property on Google Earth and could give me an estimate over the phone. I noted again that I needed a guaranteed quote, not an estimate which was the whole point of making the appointment. He said he could mail or email me a written quote but I'd have to sign it and return it. I said 'why don't you just come over like we scheduled, bring the quote, and I'll sign it.' He said he'd do that. I asked if we could schedule the job at the signing and he said yes. Well, about half an hour later a different guy showed up with the quote but said he wasn't a scheduler and I'd have to call to set that up. I told him what the other guy had said and he reluctantly said "well, what day would you like ?" and I said Monday (it was Friday). He said he'd get me on the schedule. I asked what time the crew would be here and he said somebody would call to let me know. It's now Monday and nobody ever called and there's no crew. I called the office two hours ago and the gal said they "didn't have the schedule" but when I said I needed to know she said she'd "call somebody and find out and get right back and let you know." No call so far. I think I'm going to call them back and cancel the whole thing. It now means I'll have to wait until next year to get the work done as it's getting too hot. read more

Called to have them fix a broken sprinkler pipe and thatch and airaite lawn. They said someone would call back that day. Didn't call back until the next. Came out to evaluate. Sent a bid that night. Signed and faxed back the bid. Did not hear from them. Called the next day. Said they would call back later that day with the scheduled time to do the work. FOUR days later they had not called back. Called again and said someone needs to call me back today. Lady on phone said they will. They did not! I'm done with them. I will get somebody else. How unreliable and unprofessional can a business be? I'd give them zero stars if I could. read more

This is the first review I have ever written. Makes me realize how important it is to share my experience on this company in hopes to save others the horrific troubles that I experienced. ProLawn started servicing my new home in Ashland, OR with a picture perfect lawn on June 19, 2017. My house was vacant at this time. I called endlessly to get an update on my lawn, the irrigation and see if everything was going ok. They NEVER called back! One month later, I find out that my back yard is "dead". Grass is brown and perennials are dried up. I wish I could post a picture to show you. Today I called twice to see if they were going to do anything to fix the big mistake. Once again, no call back and no words of compensation. I feel devastated. Paying $190/month, you would think they could problem shoot the irrigation issue or at least call you and let you know your yard is turning brown! read more
