I arrived early for the exam and was able to start testing right away. I found the setup to be slightly uncomfortable - the chair/desk height was off and found myself to be slightly distracted by my discomfort during the exam. That said, the facility has a lot of availability for exams. I would take another exam at this facility as long as it is 90 minutes or less. Anything longer and I would look for a more comfortable spot.

I was skeptical at first because their prices were surprisingly on the low end but once class started I got a hang of it. Each week's content consisted of: 1) approx. half an hour of video lectures 2) couple chapters to read in a 3/5 star "data-science-for-dummies" textbook, written by the teacher of the class, cost another $130. Language occasionally suffered from critical typos that could seriously hinder one's learning, especially if you were a complete newbie to the math. Thankfully, students caught most of these and asked in forums. 3) weekly graded assignments Some addt'l criticisms aside from the extremely light content for $500: I raised the idea of a forum for students/TA's/the professor to raise addt'l data mining questions. This was met with immediate defensiveness - the VP of the company posted that essentially, there was no way any student was going to get any additional learning out of the class without them being able to charge for it. If we had questions about something else, pay the $500 for each other course. This reflects well the company's approach to all its classes. All lessons were taught on an MS Excel-based tool that didn't allow for any parametrization or algorithm tweaking, as one would have in R or Python. Again, "pay for those courses if you want that content." They'll rip off a lot of people who don't know that between Stack, http://datasciencemasters.org/, simple Google searches, Hastie introduction to statistical learning, you can get 10000x the content for free.

I really appreciated the detailed instructions, immediate feedback, straightforward nature of test, level of complexity & thoroughness. Also scheduling and paying for the best was a breeze. The only issue was my test started like 35 mins after it was supposed to. In all fairness, my overall time did not exceed what they had quoted me so I'm not taking any stars off for that. I was just so nervous that I became a wreck as time went on. Just factor that in folks - u may have to sit around a bit until ur test starts. Also don't drink a ginormous bucket-sized ice tea right before u start. Those tests are like 2-3 hours long!

There is always someone to help you along the way. Starting a new venture is an adjustment. Students come from different backgrounds. We are mothers' father's single household, caretakers and in the workforce. The first year one learns how to juggle your time. Everyone has a different study time depending on the needs of the family. Some study while children are doing their homework, others may get up early or stay up late. You must fine your place to maintain your studies. Many days will be harder than others but always remember this is your education and for whatever reason, you are doing this know you are important and never give up.
