The problem with this school is when I went here half of the equipment in the classrooms was outdated and broken. Admin knows about the problem but puts no effort into fixing or replacing anything which is surprising because its costs $24,000 for 11 months to go to school here. The school will take anyone here as a student and that was a big problem because there was students that where court ordered to come here or go to jail and on a FREE RIDE from the government. This caused a lot of problems in the classroom for the Instructors. The school also has a ZERO Tolerance policy for drugs but students would use drugs in the parking lot and come into class high and skip class. The big problem with this is the school would push those students through and give them a diploma. Due to this Lincoln Tech has a bad rep with employers because they would have students apply there and know nothing because they did not apply themselves in class. I've went here and learned a lot because I pushed myself and the Instructors where awesome but this school has ALOT of room for improvement for the price you pay to go here!

I have come to events on campus many times over the years, but my most recent visit was eye-catching. Significant resources have been poured into the campus as new buildings and grand refurbishments and renovations continue apace. This should be the norm for all HBCUs around the country. It is a testament to the value the state places on its universities, although the level of investment pales in comparison to College Park. The quad is the envy of other schools, some with higher endowments, tuitions, and budgets. It is big enough that it feels like a university but still small enough to feel like home. My favorite feature/building/concept is the Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community (ELLC). Home to students who want to be entrepreneurs, here they live (brand new dorms), eat, and learn (classrooms and other spaces). There is a business and creative synergy that is self evident all throughout the space. I took a cohort of school age mentees for a tour and lunch at BSU. They were over-the-moon about the Student Center Dining Hall's food and modern decor. The food choices included fresh vegetables and fruits, custom made salads and bowls, hand crafted pizza, grilled to order items, and high quality rotating items from a self-serve bar. The seating area had huge windows where the sunlight shone through. The academic and recreational buildings were top tier. But what struck me most was the energy, passion, and intelligence of the students and faculty. They treated my mentees like little brothers coming to campus to learn from older siblings. The students seemed supportive of each other. D9 organizations got along too., but the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. always raise the bar. Bowie State University should be proud of the work they continue to do and the student needs they continue to meet. Five stars easily earned!

Please please do not attend this school under any circumstances!!!'. I don't even know where to…read morebegan. I guess I'll just start from the beginning. After visiting several schools, I chose ITC thinking it was the best choice for my training. However, let's just say the deception they present is GREAT-this is what the should be teaching, "How to deceive people 101" The school is clean and in a quiet location-seems like the perfect learning environment, right? Once again, DECEPTIVE! In the end I realized this school only appeared like this due to lack of utilization of staff & students that's missing for the majority first parts of the day. I attended a fast paced CompTIA A+ program 3 weeks-which I thought was pretty fast for someone new to the IT field-and I was right, I didn't learn SHIT! Though I can only speak for myself, it was clear that other classmates in the small class felt the same way. From day one there were issues. The staff at this establishment was NEVER on time in the morning. So, if you're in a 8AM class don't expect it to start on time... think more think more like 830/45. Forgot to mention the class is only 4 hours and 4 days a week. The instructor doesn't teach-he simply tells you the book is stupid and to listen to what he's saying- not to mention, WE WERE NOT ALLOWED RO TAKE NOTES..something I've never heard of in my entire life when it comes to education. In my opinion, it's completely impossible to obtain A+ or and other training in a matter of 3 weeks. There's very little to no hands on training when it comes to practical skills and when it comes to testing your knowledge?-lol GOOD LUCK. This is a concept that simply doesn't exist. As far as the other staff...we will get to that very soon. Before we do, let me say I was thankful enough to have my training (so-called) paid for by an organization ( Which was by far the best in helping overall-the .org NOT THE SCHOOL) instead of it coming out my pocket. However, please understand that this just gives them more of a reason to f#(K you over. I was flat out lied to by the Dean/CEO of the school who told me that training had been approved when it wasn't. After completing the so-called IT training, I received a phone call from a staff member stating that I needed to come back to fulfill ' "My contract obligations" -once again, AFTER COMPLETING TRAINING, I was told I needed to return to fulfill obligations. After doing more research, I found out that the LIED to my face in order to reel me in and that funding hadn't been approved until very recently. After several phone calls between multiple parties. I was basically told I need to come back to training to, " fulfill" my obligations or face legal action-which I assume was means try to send me to collections or file a lawsuit against me. In the end I didn't go back. If you attend here, You will call your self a fool later and realize that you can't get wasted time back. Here's the short: I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone-actually I'll recommend it to your toddler if you're looking for a babysitter. The practices of the place (I refuse to call a school) are unethical and deceptive. The Teaching style is completely unknown because your not taught anything at all and the staff just seems as if they are all their for a paycheck and not really to help you advance your career. I'm not sure if I should blame the staff or if they're just doing what their master says. He's simply someone who hides behind his flunky who can't even man up to resolves his own issues as a man that he created. Here's a complete of places I recommend looking into before you decide to waste your life in this hellhole CTI (Career Technical Institution ) VETS for America DC ( You don't have to be a VETERAN ) UNIVERSITY OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. -Toodles
