I cannot recommend Hans Meijer highly enough! I completed his virtual Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam Prep course today, August 6, 2026, through Educate 360 (Project Management Academy), and it exceeded my expectations. Hans has a remarkable ability to take complex project management concepts and explain them in a clear, practical, and easy-to-understand way. Rather than simply teaching the material to pass the PMP exam, he helps you understand the "why" behind the concepts and how they apply in real-world situations. His depth of knowledge, real-life examples, and engaging teaching style kept the class interesting from start to finish. What impressed me most was his patience and genuine commitment to every student's success. He encouraged questions, made sure no one was left behind, and created an environment where everyone felt comfortable participating. Even in a virtual setting, he kept the class highly interactive and engaging. Hans is clearly passionate about project management and about helping others achieve their PMP certification. His professionalism, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and ability to connect with students make him an exceptional instructor. If you're considering a PMP prep course, I wholeheartedly recommend taking one taught by Hans Meijer. You'll leave not only better prepared for the exam but also a stronger project management professional. Thank you, Hans, for your outstanding instruction and for making what could have been an overwhelming experience both enjoyable and incredibly valuable. Your wealth of knowledge alone was impressive. You have earned every one of your five stars! read more

I completed the PMP Exam Prep course with Project Management Academy in September 2026, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The course was extremely well organized, engaging, and focused on helping participants truly understand PMI concepts rather than simply memorizing information. The instructor did an excellent job breaking down complex topics into practical, real-world examples that made the material much easier to grasp and apply. A special thank you to Hans Meijer, whose knowledge, professionalism, and teaching style made a significant impact on my learning experience. Hans kept the class interactive, encouraged discussion, and shared valuable insights that helped connect the PMBOK principles to real project management scenarios. His passion for the subject matter was evident throughout the course. The practice questions, exam strategies, and course materials gave me the confidence I needed to prepare for the PMP exam effectively. I left the class feeling much more prepared and with a much stronger understanding of project management best practices. If you're considering PMP certification, I highly recommend Project Management Academy and especially Hans Meijer as an instructor. I recently attended PMA's PMP Exam Prep Course in Miami, FL, taught by Han Meijer, and overall it was a great experience. The course provided valuable insight into the PMP mindset, which is quite different from the way many of us approach projects in our day-to-day work. Han did an excellent job explaining concepts from the PMBOK Guide and helping students understand how to apply the principles, processes, and methodologies in practical project management situations. The class included numerous example questions, exam reviews, and discussions that helped reinforce the material and better prepare attendees for the PMP exam. Han is an extremely knowledgeable instructor with a strong command of the subject matter, and he was always willing to answer questions and share real-world perspectives. My only area for improvement would be PMA's customer service. While the training itself was excellent, email responses were often slow and phone calls were not returned. Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone pursuing their PMP certification. The quality of instruction was outstanding, and the course provided practical knowledge that can be applied immediately in project management roles. read more

Project Management Academy provided me 4-day boot camp (July, 2018) which instructed by Michael A. Giacalone, helping us to pass PMP exam within 35 days at first time. Michael is very patient to solve our question and cover all materials within 4 days. Moreover, he shares his past real PM experience with us and make this class more "practical" and assist us to combine work experience with theory. I have learned a lot of knowledge as well as tip in this intensive/productive class. What I also love Project Management Academy is their material (both printed and online), which is very organized and highlight all the key points we shall pay attention on it. You can watch all tutorial video on their portal site and remind any course you want to cover. Their timed mock exam (easy) and in-course exam (difficult) help you identify your weakness which requires your further study. The tuition is pretty much the same as other on-site institution ($1.6K~$1.8K), but cheaper than course that UM offers. I highly recommend to take their on-site course, rather than other provider which provide video for you to learn by yourself. read more

I recently completed the PMP prep course in November 2025 with Hans V. Meijer, and I can't say enough about what an excellent instructor he is. Hans made a mountain of complex material not only understandable but genuinely interesting. He has an impressive background and brings real-world context and practical examples to every topic, which made the concepts stick. He managed to cover an enormous amount of information while still keeping the class engaging and interactive. Hans also shared valuable tips and strategies for success that went beyond the slides -- the kind of insight that only comes from deep experience. What stood out most was his dedication to his students. He took extra time after class to answer additional questions I had and even reviewed my PMP application to make sure it met all requirements. That kind of personal commitment makes all the difference. If you're taking a Project Management Academy course and have the opportunity to learn from Hans Meijer, you're in excellent hands. read more

I attended the March 2016 PMP exam prep course with John Dokos in the Ft Lauderdale, FL area. I passed the exam on the first try in May 2016. The exam preparation material was outstanding! The binder material PMA provided outlined the key points from the PMBOK guide perfectly, key points I know I would have missed if I just tried the study the PMBOX guide by myself. The additional quick reference guides and handouts given were most useful in keeping the material fresh until I took the exam. The online tools such as the flash cards, Q & A and a must if you want to feel confident walking into the exam with no doubts you are ready...the online TIMED practice exams. Along with the additional tips and explanations John gave in class that was very helpful and I was able to remember some of the diagrams and memory tricks he wrote out in class. The experience was great and I was excited to take the exam and I was able to pass the exam with confidence. Thanks James T, PMP read more

I took the PMP boot camp with Project Management Academy in Orlando this pas July. It was EXCELLENT! From the first hour of class to the last, the instructor was engaging and personal. He dispensed a plethora of information in manageable and comprehensible packets while conveying it in a practical format that maximized my ability to absorb it. His knowledge of the material was in depth and punctuated by the excellent tips he wrapped in real world examples and experiences. I was equally impressed with the binder of information and course materials provided as well as the study aids and on-line portal. The venue, food and environment were great as well. They set you up for success to pass the PMP and nothing less. This boot camp was a professional life change thrust forward and I am looking forward to where it takes me. read more

I once again attended a PMA boot camp early in September 2019, this time for the PMI-ACP certification. I was so pleased with my previous experience with PMP certification course that I looked no further than PMA. If it's not broken, don't fix it.. And I was please again!. This time, instead of a classroom setting, I attended a virtual class which was instructed by Joe Snyder. Joe was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and made this as close to a classroom setting as possible. This course was very helpful for my preparation for the ACP exam, which I passed on my first attempt. PMA's site was also helpful with tutorials and relevant information to download. I recommend both PMA and Joe! Thank you both. I will continue to use PMA for future educational needs where applicable. read more

I recently completed the PMP Exam Preparation Course (October 4-8, 2026) led by Hans Meijer, and it was an excellent learning experience. Despite the breadth of the PMP syllabus, Hans delivered the material in a highly engaging and easy-to-follow manner. The use of visual aids, real-world examples, and videos helped simplify complex project management concepts and kept the sessions interactive throughout. This training has significantly strengthened my understanding of project management principles and has given me the confidence to successfully prepare for the PMP exam. I have been in Project Management roles for over 15 years, and took my Masters in PM a long time ago as well, but never sat for the PMI certification. My company is now requiring certification and I new the best way for me to get ready was to take a boot camp focused on review and how to pass. PMA delivered!!! I attended the February 2018 in class session with John D as our instructor and was extremely pleased. John provided real examples and answered questions on point. PMA materials are spot on - exactly what you need: no more, no less. The strategy guide, summary prep sheets and online test portal is key to success. I passed my test above target on the first try! I couldn't have done it without PMA!! Thank you!. read more

If you were considering taking the PMP course I highly recommend. I've been in role for years as a project manager and the items I've been taught to track and utilize has been role changing from this course. I will now research and utilize more tools daily that I was not aware of prior to my next project. The instructor I had was Hans Meijer and his delivery made an even higher impact in my learning abilitt which has created a higher competency that will assist in passing the PMP test to obtain certification within the next 2 months. This was great for my personal and professional development! I highly recommend to new and already in role project managers! read more

I took the "May 2018" class session and the instructor "John Dokos" was great. He answered all questions and took the time to relate al concepts to his experiences which made it easier to understand and remember the material. As far as PMA goes, they do a great job in summarizing the PMBOK so you can go through all the material quicker than reading the whole book. The recorded videos are also a great tool to study on the go. The PMA course is worth the investment :) I passed the exam on the first try. I also loved the tutoring access the PMA provided, whenever I had a questions they responded fast and with a clear answer. read more

I cannot express enough how paramount taking the PMA class was in my passing the PMP exam! I took the class in July 2017. The materials were laid out in an order that really helped me to process the PMBOK guide. The class structure and my instructor, John D., were phenomenal. The ability to learn with an instructor and along side other participants, being able to ask questions and hear others' questions and the answers to those questions, was extremely helpful to me. After the class I used the online PMA study tools which were also extremely helpful! I passed on the first attempt! Thank you Jonh D. And PMA!!! read more

I took this course in July 2026 and my instructor was Hans Meijer -- Hans's extensive experience and deep understanding of the course content really came through in our classes. I feel confident in knowing my next steps to achieve a PMP cert. I know someone else in my org that took a PMP prep course through a different program and she did not pass her exam -- and I also know someone in my org that used the PMA bootcamp like me and he passed on his first attempt. It's a tough exam and Hans is taking great care to make sure I am fully prepared. I'm so appreciative to have him as my instructor. Thank you! read more

I passed the PMP exam on my first try with a score well into the "Above Target" area. This same result was reflected in 4 of the 5 "domains". I credit the PMP Boot Camp course content and the sterling instructional prowess of the seminar leader John Dokos. The entire test experience was a nearly perfect match to the preparation the course provided. I have to say that of all the courses and preparatory programs I have attended, the Project Management Academy PMP Boot Camp course was by far the most "on the nose". I look forward to availing myself of more Academy offerings in the very near future. read more

If you are looking to pass your PMP exam and get your PMP Certification, this is the place for you. I attended the 4 day PMP exam preparation course in July of 2016. The instructor John D was very knowledgeable and the material that the class covered was exceptional. This class focuses on reviewing the entire PMBOK in 3 days. The last day is reserved for a 200 question 4 hour mock exam that is just the icing on the cake. The class is intense as they have a lot of material to cover and also you get 35 PDU's as well. I highly recommend taking this course. FYI, I passed on first try and got my PMP! read more

I took the PMP Test prep course in Ft. Lauderdale on March 17-20, 2014 and have to say that it is very thorough and detailed. The materials provided in class and online are very helpful. The course instructor Asad Haque was very knowledgeable, competent and accessible. Although I have experience taking certification tests, since I am a Licensed Professional Engineer, I found the PMP test to be a very difficult test. This past Saturday I passed the test and in addition to the intensive studying, the Project Management Academy PMP Test course was a key element in accomplishing the certification. read more
