I had a concerning experience at this testing center involving my service animal…read more I arrived with a trained service animal, which is permitted under federal law (ADA). Despite this, a staff member identified as "Joe" challenged my ability to enter with the animal and did not appear to understand the basic legal requirements governing service animals. The interaction was not handled professionally. The tone was dismissive, and the situation escalated unnecessarily despite the fact that the animal was calm, controlled, and not disruptive in any way. For clarity: businesses are generally not permitted to deny access to individuals with service animals, and staff are limited in what they can ask. This did not appear to be understood or followed in this instance. I am leaving this review not to be punitive, but because this is a training issue that should be addressed. Individuals relying on service animals should not have to navigate resistance or confrontation to access a basic service. I would strongly encourage management to ensure staff are properly trained on ADA requirements.

I went in for I9 and I've done it in the past for many internships. I wait about 20 minutes for a women to com out with an aggressive attitude when I greeted her and handed my passport. She aggressively told me that's it, we're your drivers license screaming that I need a drivers license. After I showed her this page she still didn't want to accept it. The page clearly states either option a (passport) or B (drivers license and xyz document needed) can be chosen. https://workforce.equifax.com/i-9-acceptable After showing her this, she still arrogantly insisted that "it's not her first rodeo ". Clearly she didn't know what she was talking about because I went to another location that immediately took my passport filled out my information and I was done in less than five minutes. I was very grateful/lucky to find a place that let me schedule same day. I highly recommend you don't go there, especially if you're on short notice. I don't recommend going if you're testing either because the place looks very disorganized and has a horrible smell. I added a photo of the place that I went to. The lady was very kind and attentive, and there was no wait.

Pearson Vue Testing Center - Electronic "door man," you scroll through; find the business you want, call, and they instruct you how to get in the building

I am an elementary school teacher and I had to take a reading endorsement test. I looked online and…read morethis was one of the closest testing sites, so I scheduled my test for a Saturday afternoon in November. The place is a little hidden, just north of Commercial Blvd. & east of I 95. The building is not well marked; there is no sign that says "testing" or Pearson, and at first I thought maybe I was at the wrong place because the parking lot was empty. I went up to the front door and it was locked however there was an electronic door answering system. I searched Pearson Vue, dialed and a gentleman answered. He explained how to enter the building and also instructed me that I needed to go to the bathroom and wash my hands prior to entering the office. I was a little surprised that the bathroom was such a mess because the building is locked. It was a hallway bathroom for all the tenants and guests of the building but it was really gross and did not look like it had been attended to for several hours. After washing my hands I walked down the hallway to the Pearson Vue office. They seem to be taking every safety precaution, and there was a plastic sheet separating visitors from the staff. They also had lots of hand sanitizer. I was instructed to show ID, take off my glasses for inspection, and empty my pockets, I also had my picture taken and I had to pat myself down and lift up my hair so they could check the back of my neck. I get it that they are trying to be very secure however I did not appreciate the attitude of Richard behind the desk. He was very condescending and talked to me as if I was a child. I noticed that he also talked in a very "scolding" manner to the other 2 women who were there to take tests. I think he thought he was being funny, but it just adds to the stress of someone who is getting ready to take an important test. Right before going into the testing room; I was issued a locker and given a key so that I could store my purse or any other personal items during the test. I was led by a woman into the testing center. She also offered me earplugs and sanitary covers for the headphones that were at each station. I was glad I had those because toward the end of my test there was someone who was typing very loudly very close to me. At the start of the test there is a computer tutorial that lasts about 10 minutes. I found the tutorial to be very helpful, and the actual test was very easy to complete. It always tells you how many minutes you have left and what number question you were on. You are also able to go back and check your answers at anytime throughout the test. I used all my time to go back & check my work and I was thrilled that I was told I passed and handed an "unofficial score report" as I exited the testing room. I retrieved my items from the locker without a hitch. Overall it is a pretty good place to take a test; especially since there don't seem to be many options around.

She has always struggled with math and I knew she would need additional help to maximize her test scores. Fortunately, through a web posting, I came across JLP Services. I reached out to the Director, Jamie Sirianni by phone. Jamie returned my call within the hour (pretty impressive in the world of texts) and listened to my story and my concerns. Jamie spent time asking me questions about my daughter and her study habits in an effort to craft tutoring sessions for her needs. Jamie has helped my daughter immensely by giving her honest feedback in her sessions to help her realize the impact these test scores will have on her future. My daughter has gotten a dose of reality and understands how competitive it is to be accepted into good colleges and universities. This has inspired her to listen and remain focused when on her studies. Jamie and her team are committed to helping students learn and gain confidence in their abilities as they prepare for the next chapter of their educational goals. Thanks JLP...keep up the amazing service you all provide! Respectfully, Yolanda Alter
