I got my bartending license a little over a decade ago from the Fort Lauderdale location. It was suppose to come with "lifetime refresher courses", however I'm being given the run around. I've called them multiple times and when I do talk to someone, he's a bit dismissive. I didn't take it personal but he doesn't take any information or anything when we talked about the dates for classes. After missing the one in January, I called to reschedule and I don't think he even asked for my name. Definitely didn't save it anywhere so this feels a bit like a misrepresentation on their part at this point. I showed up to the school after my last phone call with them, telling me the next class was night time 3/25-3/28/2024, and nobody is there. My phone calls are not answered then I get a text message telling me it's the following week. I requested confirmation a few days ago now on dates, in writing since the last time was verbal and I'm 100% sure of the dates he gave me, and nobody has gotten back to me. I texted the business phone number. It's a shame, I did like the class when I went and the lifetime refresher was a great perk, too bad it's just a manipulation tactic. I feel at this point as thought it's intentional and my information wasn't taken because they had no intentions in helping me. Screenshot attached. By this point I've had several short phone call conversations with them, clearly to be misinformed and I'm not interested anymore. I walked right out... The WORSE Part! there is a waste basket with the direction... don't throw towels away "bitches", which is not only disgusting, but a violation of Florida WorkPlace laws. The owner is so stuck in his chair in the back he can't get up to introduce himself or show me around.... The place is very unwelcoming and dirty. They had no information on the school when I went to look it over, at least I got nothing, no outline no placement info, NADA! The teacher meanwhile was barking orders in some bar room gibberish that I could not learn from and addressed me as "Bossman", am I a Bossman? or a potential student / customer? BTW the teacher never introduced himself and simply told me I was in his way ... .. Place is hostile, not a place to learn - So I walked right out. read more

I totally dug this class it was fast and i had a great time. The instructor works well with each person and the classes are small. You learn a lot of recipes and do lots of drills I would recommend if you are looking into it. read more

I was apprehensive about signing up for the class at first, the amount of material (in my mind) seemed a bit overwhelming for a 40 hour course, but the hands-on teaching methods that the school employs makes learning all of the different drink recipes, mixing methods, and theory easy and FUN! You literally leave the first class with the ability to make a dozen drinks from the start. My instructor was Erin, an incredibly experienced and informative restaurant professional with an vast wealth of knowledge to draw from. The classes are small and intimate so you can always expect an answer to your question, and you WILL absolutely be a capable Bartending professional by the end of the course. I highly recommend this school for anyone with little or no experience behind the bar as they are professional, practical, and most of all- extremely effective at teaching anyone what it takes to tend bar like a pro! 5 stars! read more

I learned a lot of knowledge on how to make drinks, shots, what drinks goes in what glass, different type of garnishes that goes with a specific drink, what types of liquors and most importantly the tastes! Got the course from group on.. it was a great deal paid $199 for a two week course. The class i had was very small (5 of us in the class). we had different instructors, each one of them shared something different with us & and were very knowledgeable and interesting. The only thing i will say is their job placement is not that great. you have to constantly call every Wednesday for them to mention you a place, that then you have to research and go in person to ask if they are hiring. read more
