Well, what an experience! Wes was great at the point of sale, first visit. We signed a contract…read morewith primer as needed, 2 coats, brush and roll. We had a typical remodel that took 3 months longer than expected so he was put off a bit. (Pretty normal) The day of paint he was rude. He said if we made him wait longer he was going to just tell us to "fuck off." Told us he would charge us more for the things we asked for originally. Would not paint what we asked altough we offered to pay more! The wet paint walk through looked good so he was paid in full. When finished and dried it was a poor job. Ceiling was sprayed resulting a lot of bleed through. Many areas had only one coat and no primer. Some areas just did not get painted at all! Nail holes not filled, painted over blind and curtain hangers whe he said they would be removed. Did not paint the things he felt like not painting. Left debris behind. So many things that six grand should have covered. Upon Wes learning of these discrepancies he did offer to fix them. He did not know why or how they happened! Could not except the poor quality of his work. It was a struggle to say the least. I wanted money back, he refused aggressively. He did in one day address most of the things we requested so I told him we were good. I did notice a couple things but figured at least I'd been done with him. 2 days later, I see paint spray all over the house ( brush and roll, right?). Paint drips everywhere! Still a lot of bleed through and still nail holes not filled, and in general a rushed fix! Wes lied and did a crappy job. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure he has some sort of financial struggle because if I had done that poorly, I would have given money back to my customer. I wanted to pursue him for more but just realize I'm not going to get what I paid for and I simply need to move in. I will think of his name every time I see his work. My recommendation is to not use him.
