Very experienced and professional care. I've had only a few appointments so far. It's like RMT…read morefor your throat, except no RMT dos this type of work. I am definitely feeling the improvements. The exercises are helpful, too.

Dr.Osborn,…read more I'm writing you this note to express my dissatisfaction with the care I received from you. At my first appointment on Nov.15 I described why I was there. Constant coughing, constant throat clearing, physical discomfort with sustained or prolonged conversation. My voice was weak, my lungs felt congested. Your response gave me hope. You described my symptoms as "common" and said I had "many options" open to resolve my issues. To start, you sent me home with a steroid spray to use for 6 weeks as well as a prescription for daily acid reflex pills. Today, Dec. 21, I returned to your office to report no change in my situation, eager to hear what I could try next. Your response was brief. You suggested I could try the 'Singing therapy' offered in the adjoining office, which you had mentioned a couple times at our first appointment. Or, you further suggested, I could try blowing Botox in my lungs. But, you explained, there were unfortunate side effects to that approach. I asked you what happened to the "many options" available to me which you spoke of 5 weeks ago. No response. I expressed my frustration with my situation, and my frustration with your sudden lack of available options. No response. To these meager choices I said fine I'll try the Singing therapy. On my way out, your receptionist handed me a pamphlet stating the cost of that therapy was roughly $200 per hour. A fact you never mentioned at either of my appointments. I only hope when you see your own personal doctor you receive better care than I did.

came here to the emergency because my foot turned into a football, originally went to my doctors…read morebut they told me to go to the hospital instead YAY! My previous experiences with this hospital were not very good at all, quite the opposite and in the negative. This experience was much better, was able to hop around and find a wheelchair no problem. The staff were super friendly and worked with a sense of urgency, when it all was said and done, the visit took about 3 hours, the only thing that I have negative to say was that the doctor at the time read my xray wrong and I got a phone call the next day telling me very bad news. The hospital was very clean and bright. Lots of parking on site Transit options are the 123 and 80 buses, and the 15 with a bit of a walk from the mall.

The staff and services here are excellent. This is not a hospital as such as there are no inpatient…read moreservices and no emergency department. An urgent care centre (UCC) provides care for non emergency injuries and personal health issues. Sprains, cuts, rashes, broken fingers etc for example, as well as blocked catheters, urinary retention and post surgical complications if needed. Emergency care is provided at another site, as is inpatient care. This site provides investigative and pre operative work up, as well as rehabilitation on an outpatient basis. An army of knowledgeable volunteers and clerical staff ensure you are seen in good time. The UCC practices triage, so less urgent cases may wait a long time for treatment. These cases could probably get seen at a walk in clinic or at their own doctors. Properly utilized this can be a one stop shop. Before I retired as an RN I referred patients here appropriately and they received good care. My wife had her follow up care here after her knee replacement, and I have cardiac investigations done here. The one down side? The cost of parking, although options are available to reduce the cost for frequent attenders.
