This clinic is very modern, and they allow you to make an appointment (though the clinic was…read morepractically empty). However the doctor lacked basic skill and the bedside manor was nonexistent. I saw Dr. Antoinette Mikhail to have 6 stitches removed from my back. After several minutes of scrounging to find scissors and tweezers she instructed me to take my shirt off with the door open. She then began digging at my back at which point she remarked, "these scissors are very dull, they are making this difficult." Didn't I know, it was my flesh she was picking at. She got up and left the room without explanation leaving me sat there in my bra with the door open, and returned with a more appropriate looking set of tools. She then proceeded to use a dental pick type tool to dig 2 "half stitches" out of my back, swabbed me with alcohol and sent me on my way. This was 4 days ago, I have since removed 3 half stitches myself and am quite certain there is a 4th still under my skin. I would not recommend this clinic for much more than a flu diagnosis. Treated me like I was a naughty 3 year old complete with looks of deep disapproval. Tried to explain a concept to me that a kid who was 7 would already know, as if this is some knowledge I may be missing. How dare a patient know anything! Couldn't figure out what to prescribe. An auto service like at Tim Horton's where you type in your order and then go to the counter and pick it up would have been better. Like, type in what's wrong, answer a few prompts and get your medication. I would have walked out if I hadn't needed something so badly.

SO I had an appointment at 4pm yesterday November 18th 2020, I was asked to fill out some paper work and as soon as i finished, I sit down and wait roughly 30 minutes, after another 15 minutes I kindly ask the secretary how long the doctor might be because i have an appointment at 5:30 she tells me with attitude that I should give at least one hour between appointments, (which I did) and tells me its not her problem . then after I call my father to tell him I'm going to be a bit longer so he comes up to check on me because he knows these situations don't do well with my mental health, and he asked the secretary how long it might be because I had an appointment, she responds again with attitude and says that this is not her problem and for us to speak with the doctor, she then gets frustrated leaves to call the doctor and the doctor comes out and says "do we have a problem here". my father respectfully says that he was not expecting that kind of attitude from a "medical professional" and the doctor karasik again with attitude says "sometimes I take long sometimes I don't, I'm not busy now so do you want to be seen or not ? " so my father and I decided this was extremely unprofessional, rude and had affected my mental health that day and we left. For a first visit for a "top and bottom scope" that, let's face it passes people through on what…read morecan be called an industrial rate I have seldom felt better cared for by a medical team.. With something like 15 surgeries under my belt I've met more than a few medical teams! When the appointment is booked you receive an email with very comprehensive instructions, medical history forms and consent forms that can be filled in online, printed out and completed to be brought with you or you can arrive a few minutes earlier for help with the forms. if you have unique concerns they are addressed patiently and repetitively if needs be up to and including your arrival. I never felt rushed. No one was impatient. They have very apparently never lost sight of the fact that this is not your favourite way to pass a few hours! Everything on the health history was run through again. Everyone introduced themselves and explained their part in the procedure. I was very effectively put to sleep and I woke up about 90 minutes later feeling very fine and not at all groggy, though you will not be allowed to drive yourself home. This is also explained several times. I expected to be sleepy for the rest of the day. I did not feel at all drowsy. My husband was briefed on their findings. He was issued a summary of the findings and a follow up appointment for me. I will certainly be returning when these procedures are scheduled to be done a few years in the future! They take days to get back to you. The Dr told me on Wednesdays visit that she would call me with blood test results on friday. She called my 10 days later She told me there was a cultural misunderstand dont know what that meant we both spoke English perfectly. I asked for the results to be emailed to me. They sent me the results from July not Oct I sent a follow up email asking for the Oct results I'm still waiting for them. My mother who is 91 with mobility issues waited 3 hours to see a Dr. How is this possible. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. But waited because this was the first time someone actually answered the phone. When speaking to her she interrupted me many times before i could finish what i wanted to say during the phone call were super rude and spoke in a very condescending manner.
