First let me start by saying how disorganized and incompetent the office staff is. No one at this Progressive Family Care Office communicated to the physician I was referred to, no one faxed over my information (even though I called to remind them and confirm that they had done so), and no one seemed to know where my chart/information was when I called on numerous occasions. Secondly, this office charged my insurance incorrectly (even though I stated multiple times I was there for a problem). I was ignored and they sent a bill to my insurance which was coded "New Patient Visit". Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover preventative visits and refused to pay the bill as it was coded. I informed the office (as did my insurance once I filed a grievance) to change the billing coding and the office refused. Flat out refused. Lastly, while my insurance was going over my claim, and I informed the office, Red Bud Regional sent my bill to collections without informing me. End result, I had to pay in full for an apx $400 dollar bill for a "new patient visit" which I was only seen for apx 20 minutes by D. Konya. Fair warning, don't go to this office. read more
