Remarkable! Thankfully I found Dr.Ince in late February when the list of dr.'s given to me by an urgent care physician, could not get me in until August or September! So I searched my maps and found Arthritis Consultants, I called on a Thursday and they had me in by Tuesday! Dr. Ince was fabulous, not only he was friendly and showed genuine concern for my pain and discomfort, but he has a wonderful personality, great humor and makes brief small talk to get to know his patients yet, not too long to keep others waiting. He gets directly to the issue and addresses it with passion and finality to assure the most effective and immediate treatment in order to offer the most expedient relief to his patients. I know this because I have experienced this when I needed immediate treatment from weeks of pain that no one could diagnose! And what's more deserving of notability is that even with a strong accent, he speaks clear and precise and is very articulate, leaving no guesswork to his instructions! Finding Dr. Ince has not only been a blessing to me, but his entire team is courteous and compassionate as well! His assistant, Tasha has been absolutely terrific and helpful!l Never have I had a more enjoyable experience in the face of pain and anxiety and the ongoing journey to normalcy! I usually don't leave reviews on anything, but I feel like this one would help some people in the future. The way that this office is run is incredibly unorganized and unprofessional, not only in my short experience there, but also in trying to make the appointment itself. The US healthcare system is an abysmal failure, insurance is a nightmare, so the least an office can do is have a pleasant experience for patients. This one unfortunately missed the mark today. 1. Played phone tag for months. When I finally got hold of someone, the person I spoke with seemed very rushed and very cold on the phone. 2. Was a new patient, scheduled that day (one success of the day! flexible timing), but was told to print out all paperwork and have it done before I come in. Having to come in 30 minutes before your time is also intense. Having paperwork ready for new clients is kind and pretty standard, so that was an odd request on top of the half hour wait. 3. Was told this specific Dr. took a particular insurance as a secondary insurance by multiple sources at Mercy and online, then was met with a lot of pushback from the office. 4. Bombarded me with paperwork, at one point two office staff came into my room and one was explaining, page by page, how to fill it out as quickly as possible, while another one (at the same time) was asking me to sign an agreement saying that if my insurance fell through (the one that I was told would work) I'd be responsible. I was incredibly overwhelmed and asked for space. 5. The Dr. visit was fine. However, I wasn't told I was getting the tests in the room or briefed about what specific tests would be done, so I started to leave, but was told to go back to my room as I was getting tests done at the office. 6. The person who took my blood did their job. I was told I could leave. I started to leave. Whoops. They forgot another test. Had to get poked again. Bad day to be someone who notoriously passes out from needles. 7. Okay, I left finally. Scheduled a follow-up. Right as rain? Nope. 8. Someone didn't give me paperwork to sign for a test to be sent off, so my options were to figure out a way to print it off and sign it after I was 20 minutes away, or have to be poked again the next day and miss work. I thought it was an off day, seeing as when I pulled up the fire alarm was going off, everyone was outside, and a fire truck was present (ended up being a false alarm? should have been my first red flag) So I understand being flustered, but upon reading these other reviews I'm not so sure. I know it's not all sunshine and rainbows for healthcare workers either, you're probably overworked and just trying to do your jobs and see patients in a timely manner, but you could do so with so much more patience, kindness, and better communication. read more

Avoid at all cost! I found Dr. Dehlendorf herself was personable and nice, but she did nothing to help me, and her office is a nightmare to work with. They will cancel an appointment (and charge you for it) if you are 5 minutes late. They will be rude to you or outright ignore you and your questions and treat you like it's a burden for them to have to do their job. I had labwork done several times over several years, and never was informed of the results, despite there being some very alarming markers concerning my organ function. I was sent for a nerve conduction study, but was never given the results, nor did they ever try to follow up. I had to request those results from the hospital system myself, and discovered that there were significant findings I should have been informed of on that, too. I was given a prescription for myofascial massage (handwritten prescription), but was given no information on where I should go to have that performed. When I asked the receptionist about it, she handed me a flyer that wasn't even related. I was given no dignity, care, or attention at all in the 10 years I was desperately seeking a diagnosis. She said it was Fibromyalgia, nothing to do but try to eat well (I do) and lose some more weight because it was probably giving me bursitis in my hips. She handed me a printout about bursitis and sent me on my way. Never even asked me to make another appointment. It was not bursitis, it was not fibromyalgia, it was Autoimmune, just as I had always suspected. I have a new doctor now who finally took the time to care, and with treatment, I am becoming well, but I'll never get back the 10 years I spent trusting this sham of a doctor's office while wasting away in pain. dr baak and staff are absolutely wonderful! I always feel like I'm a VIP there! I have been with other rheumatology offices who do not have the solutions and or options that arthritis consultants offer. Rheumatoid arthritis is difficult to deal with and they are top notch. Dr. Ince approached my arthritis problems with common sense and knowledge. Unlike some specialists, he addresses my disease with the awareness that it is connected to my entire body. He prescribed water exercise therapy, yoga, an active lifestyle, weight control, proper footwear and pain medication. I appreciate his all encompassing approach, not just throwing drugs at me as the only solution. Once my symptoms were under control he turned my care over to Isabelle Harding, who has monitored my symptoms with continued compassion, empathy, wisdom, knowledge and common sense. Every new development has been addressed and or referred to another specialist who could treat or fix the problem with expertise. My first appointment in 2005 presented a person who could hardly function. Today, although I definitely still have arthritis, I am not miserable with every movement and lead an active lifestyle. The approach of these two medical professionals at Arthritis Consultants has had me returning since 2005! I am thankful that with their guidance and care I can lead the fullest life possible. read more

Supposed to have Dr. Ince as my doctor , but he could be in South Africa for all I know. Never seen him , is this medicare fraud ? Just came today for appointment to see Ms. Zobrist , but Medicare is paid as if Ms. Zobrist was a doctor, when in fact she is just a nurse. That is fraud. The Medicare hotline to report fraud is 1-800-HHS-TIPS (1-800-447-8477). To add insult, when I came in today, like many before me, I arrived at 11:53 AM for an 11:40 AM appointment and told I had to reschedule. This is classic fraud. They are still charging Medicare for an office visit. This is malpractice and fraud. The reviews are correct, the office staff is the most unprofessional possible. My guess is that all the doctors are jerks so they hire jerks in the office. Better care elsewhere. Run , do not walk , to a different rheumatologist. read more

I'm sorry for anyone's bad experience, everyone has individual experiences. I've been going to see Dr Dehlendorf for 9 years now. She is kind and attentive and empathetic. I've also worked with Isabel Hartig who is also very very kind and listens to me. I've had RA for 17 years now and I can honestly say she has been a bright spot in my medical care team... as with all RA patients...we have more than just RA, hence medical team. The office team has good days and bad days--that's my only criticism and why i only give 4 stars and not 5. Doesn't seem consistent at front desk, but checkout desk there is consistent. I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes to see the Dr. I can go during my lunch break. Usually, I get right in when I arrive. I go quarterly. I'd like to thank Dr D and Isabel for taking good care of me. read more

I was a new a new patient for Amanda Dehlendorf. I was a previous patient of this so called company. I arrived at her office 7 minutes early for a appointment that I waited for 3 months plus to only be treated terribly by 2 office attendants. I was asked for my paperwork and i responded what paperwork I received nothing was it mailed or emailed to me I asked. The two girls looked at each other and I said here's my email you sent me there's no attachment and you called me as a reminder of my three month old appointment no remember to bring your paperwork nothing. I asked to speak with the doctor they went and asked she said no. I was told it's going to be a long time before I get in because they have a long wait list. There was no one in the waiting room as I was there first patient at 7:30 in the morning. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting someone to care about your health as they or incredibly lazy and not willing to fix there own mistakes!!! I have seen Dr. Dehlendorf for several years. She listens, asks questions and then infuses her medical knowledge and wisdom into the plan of care. She is flexible in that she modifies the treatment plan as needed. She is also quick to answer messages left on the patient care portal. Dr. D is truly a gift to the field of rheumatology. I have been seeing Dr. Ince since August 2013. All of my joints were swollen and painful including my ankles, feet, toes, knees, shoulders, elbows, hands, fingers and wrists. It was so bad that I was practically disabled. Dr. Ince correctly diagnosed my problem as Psoriatic Arthritis. After trying a few medications that did not work completely, Dr. Ince prescribed Enbrel for me and it has been a miracle. For over a year, I have had no symptoms. Dr. Ince said that I have reached a medically induced remission. I hope it continues! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ince and his approach. Not to mention the incredible results I have achieved to date. This is a very complicated disease and I highly recommend Dr. Ince. read more

I have been going to Dr. Isabel (Arthritis Consultants) for years. I was getting a procedure done on my knees that my insurance would not cover. Dr. Isabel told me the nurse would call me with a quote out of pocket that it would cost for the procedure. Then I was checking my last receipt when I came out of the doctors office stating I owed $300 or $400 more. I called numerous times and never could get it resolved, but I never received a statement. The last time I called I ended up with the office manager. She was so rude to me, talked to me like trash and told me nurses do not give quotes or estimates. She continue to ask me if I was going to pay the balance and I told her she needed to talk to Dr. Isabell and the nurse that gave me the quote out of pocket. She continued to argue with me and I told her no I was not paying the balance, so she started threatening me that she was gonna send it to collections. Also, she continued to tell me she was going to send it to collections. Remind you I never received one statement. I told her she could not do that and she told me she can do whatever she wants to. My husband and I were in the middle of selling our house and buying a villa and naturally that would cause problems. In my opinion I would think it would be the doctors choice to let a patient go, but this office manager told me I needed to find another arthritis doctor. I emailed my doctor it took her over a week to respond and never called me back and gave me references to contact for a new arthritis doctor. I sent over a 10 page letter with the statement I finally received which was only $30 something, I made a copy for my doctor and also Dr. Ince. I never heard one thing back from that office after all this. I was and still am very upset, mad and hurt. Also, I want to note that I never was late on a payment to them I always paid my co-pay and anything was owed from the last visit, I paid it The next time I came into the office. I never have received an statement in all these years because I did pay it every time I went. read more

I was expected to be a new patient this morning. The office was able to get me in a week early (as my wait to be seen was almost 2 months). I was thankful. As luck would have it, two car accidents and a super sunny day meant that I would be late for my appt. I was 10 minutes late. At 10 minutes, they do not see you. Circumstances do not matter. I tried to call when I knew that I would be late but you can not get through by phone until 8:30 am. I understand, if you are late, you are late. I get that. The lack of compassion at the front desk was not understandable. I spoke to the manager and explained that my eyes have been killing me since June. I have four medications I put in each morning and hope to me able to see. The mornings are tough for me to get ANYWHERE and light makes things worse. I literally cried telling her how hard I tried to get there on time. She agreed to get me in this week and not have me wait another two months. I was agreeable to that and asked her to call me. I also informed her that several other google reviews had a similar experience to mine. I suggested revisiting the practice of not allowing patients to call in though they were expected to be in the office. The manager stated it is easier to get a negative review online than a positive review. She asked if I wanted to leave my new patient paperwork- I declined. At that point the manager stated that we needed to have a positive patient/provider relationship. She suggested I receive care elsewhere. So, I went from we will see you this week to we will not see you at all. I gave feedback regarding my experience and was fired as a patient. I take responsibility for being late. I was agreeable to being seen within the week. Was the new patient paper work question not really a question? I am so confused. Guess I will let both specialists I am seeing know about my experience with them. I will also take my insurance and cash elsewhere. Compassion for patients goes a long way. It is possible to reschedule patients and still make them feel like they matter to the practice. You just have to actually care. read more

I see Dr. Dehlendorf at the St. Anthony's location. I never have to wait long and she's always thorough. She has a great "bedside" manner and I feel comfortable with her care. I highly recommend her if you require rheumatology services. read more

Dr. Ross is one of the best Arthritis doctors around and still has time to find out everything about his patients. He has a great bedside manner and is very thorough. If you think you have arthritis he's to doctor for you! His staff is very nice as well. Which definitely makes a difference when looking for a new doctor. read more

I made an appointment with Dr. Dehlendorf. The gal that confirmed my apt. she was somewhat harsh. I was told to be at the office at 7AM sharp, for a 7:30 Apt., and have all my paperwork completed, or I would have to set another apt. I arrived at the office at 6:56AM. I waited for someone to answer my knock at the window. A lady came to the window, and stated that no one had arrived yet to check me in as a new patient. I waited, and waited. I was finally brought back to a room, and waited for Dr. Dehlendorf. She was very professional, and had a great bedside manner. I do not feel comfortable at this point, since it has been 6 days, and have not received my blood test results. I was told By Dr. D. to call mid week. I called Weds. had to leave a message, never received a return call, so I called again. I was told by the Lab that Dr. D. would call me back yesterday, no word. I called again this morning at 11:15, and spoke to the Lab again. The women at the Lab said when you registered at the front desk, did the gal give you a username, and password to log into your portal to see your results. I explained "NO", and she stated that they should have. The lab gal said let me transfer you, as the gal is not on the phone right now. I received a VM, no return call thus far, and No Results. Sorry Dr. Dehlendorf, your staff is hurting your reputation, and somewhat you for not returning calls, and results. I do not recommend at this point. read more
