To be honest, I never trusted Chiropractic care. I went to one guy at my wife's recommendation and was in pain for three days afterwards and so I swore them off. But my back started acting up on me. I had to really watch myself or it would feel like a sharp pain just before it would go out on me. Also, my wife had been suffering with Migraines, lower back pain, and leg pain. Someone recommended Dr. Ranzette to her and she went through his program and it made an astounding difference for her. It made such a positive difference that I decided to give him a try. I have to say that, even though I am a little more than midway through therapy, my back is doing great. I had lower back pain regularly before and now I rarely feel any pain or discomfort. I came in with headaches and neck pain that were very consistent and bothersome. After a few adjustments I was feeling less pain in my neck. I have no idea how good or bad this man is as chiropractor. My partner and I left before he performed any adjustments. Let me explain... Started off fine. Small talk and assessments. He assessed my girlfriend and then me. A joke about my posture and gaming lead to him joking about his real-life AR rifle. No big deal. I shoot too. Cool. Then he casually joked about "the revolution". I let that slide too. No comment. Guy has an odd sense of humor, ok, fine. Pop my back right? Nope. Not done making jokes. He then scoffed, as in openly laughed, at the severity rate of CoVid. In front of two RNs. I have no idea what lead to this comment. He knew we were both nurses but it was the first time CoViD came up. I stood, put my on my coat, and told him I was in Queens, NY, during the April outbreak. I also told him he should be ashamed of himself. I admit I swore. Hard F bomb folks. Not sorry. There are much cheaper places to get your back popped and have some guy praise drinking vinegar (yeah, that happened too). Go if you don't care that a medical office head staffer likes to cut jokes about the our national health crisis that has killed so many of us. You're all adults. Good luck out there. If you have a body that is sometimes in motion, you should check out Progressive Chiropractic. I am a mediocre cross fitter, nurse, and constantly training for a PT test and can say that I feel a lot better after seeing Dr Renzetti for a couple months. I pay out of pocket and drive and hour both ways to see their office. I came to Progressive Chiropractic after my husband's recommendation. I did not have an acute injury, just chronic annoyances that show up after particular workouts. During my initial evaluation, I got a set of X-rays, assessment of posture and alignment, and honest recommendations about how they could help. I have been back to their office for about 8 weeks. My favorite thing about their office is the multi-modal stance they take towards pain and posture. For one session, you get to spend about 15 mins using a number of different therapies. For an hour appointment, I get time with a TENS machine with heat to bothered areas, time on a roller/vibration table, short massage by a massage therapist, and a few minutes on an inversion table FOLLOWED by a chiropractic adjustment. I leave feeling a lot better! My shoulders, which bothered me, are feeling better overall, but I appreciate the suggestions of stretches and exercises to add to my routine to keep my core strong and prevent injuries. I don't usually leave reviews but I'm making an exception because my husband and I love Progressive Chiropractic. I've had a slew of athletic injuries over the years and as a result have chronic back pain. I have had poor experiences at various other practices and didn't trust anyone to manipulate my spine. I honestly just accepted that I would always be in pain and constantly worried about the next time I would slip a disc and have to take days off of work to recover. When my husband found Progressive he told me I should come in and I am so glad I did. We've been going for almost 5 years now and it's the reason I am able to exercise and function normally. A few weeks ago I really hurt my back I was in terrible pain so bad I was limping in the airport on way home from Seattle. I was looking for a chiropractor and read the write up on the practice and really impressed by their philosophy. Four (4) sessions in and I have to honestly say I feel like a new person!! First appointment was actually pretty shocking because I discovered things, health wise, about my body that I didn't know was actually an issue. That first appointment pretty much changed my life because it made me very conscious of those issues, and for the past couple years I had been working toward bettering those issues. Slowly but surely things have improved, but maybe if I went as often as Dr. Ranzette suggested initially issues would have resolved much faster so that's my fault. I've taken the advice I was given and changed the smallest aspects of my lifestyle: I stretch when I wake up and throughout the day, I wear supportive shoes at work, I try to be conscious of my posture by sitting up straight, and looking straight, not down, at a screen (computer or phone). I appreciate what the team has done for me and I greatly appreciate Dr. Ranzette for the BEST adjustments EVER. I can't live without them, and I can't believe the instant relief.
